First time visiting here and we will absolutely be back! We signed up for the kids bowl free and my two had a lot of fun. The scoreboard plays funny cartoons with every turn and they had fun music and videos playing as well. Very nice bowling lanes and the entire atmosphere was comfortable and clean. A lot of game options and really good prizes to choose from as well.

Celebrating a birthday with some friends and we decided to go bowling. This place is a small version of dave & busters and so much fun! I just walked by the pizza counter and the pepperoni pizza looked great!

My family and I had a great time! It was my daughter's birthday. And with her 2 younger siblings they played laser tag, did racing games, Halo game etc. I loved that there was tables and a great big comfy couch to relax after I played games with my kids. Can't wait to go back

Stopped in for a game and was very pleased! They have remodeled the place and it looks fantastic. Tried the food "Machos Nachos" and was in heaven and had the best time bowling too.

Very cool place! Moderate prices, loads to do. Bowling, games, food, etc. Pretty impressive. Was in town for business and had spare time, literally. Found this on Google and hit it up. Glad I did. Great way to waste some time and it wasn't crazy expensive. Good family place, food games, etc. Plenty to do!

Great spot for family fun. I have visited few few times before but had never eaten there. The place is always fun and the food was good. The only thing I would complaint about was the temperature of the Mac and cheese. The taste was great but it was warm and the cheese could have been more melted.

Have not went bowling here but do stop in for there selection of arcade games. Every game is always in working order and clean making it much more enjoyable to keep coming back. Prices for the games is a little high but for the quality and cleanliness it is still worth it.

Highly recommended stop for any gathering it be friends, family, coworkers. Spare Time has a great atmosphere, plenty of bowling lanes, arcade, laser tag and a great bar w/seating. The packages offered are great and again highly recommended for all get together but especially children's birthdays; the kids always have a blast! I'd give the pizza and wings a high win over what you'd expect to get at a bowling alley! The rest of the menu and what I've tried is also great, great food, great time so if you have some spare time.....!

We just had my son's 10th birthday here. Everything was fantastic. The pizza was actually really good for bowling alley pizza. Carson and Luke were the party hosts and they were excellent. Luke must have gone to get stuck balls for us 15+ timesand never complained. If you have a party ask for Carson and Luke to be your hosts and you'll be set. Than for for making his 10th birthday awesome!

I’m not one to ever do reviews, but I’m making an exception this time. The service here is absolutely amazing, and you are easily able to tell that they all love their jobs. The servers and bartenders here have the best vibes I’ve ever seen, and are so nice to you with this warm but proper attitude. Front desk staff is very kind and welcoming, but also have this positive attitude that rubs off onto you in the best of ways. The staff in the arcade are truly incredible with all the guests, and you can feel the positive energy everywhere you go. I came here with my friend and his daughter, and these employees were so kind and friendly with his kid. One of the claws were being restocked by this employee, and my friend’s kid really wanted to try and win one of these really cool looking Looney Tunes plushies. He turned around and ended up giving her one of plush, which absolutely shocked me. Her father offered to pay for the plush, but the kid said that it was the least he could do for it taking a bit to refill the game and told them that he just wanted to make sure that the kid had a fun time with her father. I was taken back by this response, but it gave me a glimpse of humanity that I haven’t seen in a long time. If I’m correct, their name was either Nathan or Nicolas and wore a black cap backwards. I really hope that kid goes far there, and really gets a chance to share his positivity in a higher role one day. I really recommend coming here with your family and friends if you want a good time out of the house, and want an absolutely killer experience that screams positivity! (I definitely recommend taking the $49.99 game card deal! It saves you money by giving you $50 extra to use in the Arcade or Laser Tag!)

I went here for my daughters birthday. And I can say she enjoyed her time even tho some of the arcade games weren’t working properly. The downfall of this place is the restaurant and bar. When I tell you I felt discriminated against because we waited 30 mins before I got up and left the area. I brought it up to the waitress attention 2 times that we were waiting to place an order she said give me a sec and never came back. She continued interacting with the other guest who were already served. My 5 year old ended up crying saying mommy I’m hungry and why isn’t anyone coming and complaining she was thirsty. I got up and just told them they need better service and the Hispanic manager just made excuses for their poor service. The bar was jammed and the bartender was rude. My parents waited for their food and they order the sample platter and their hot wings had feathers on it. FEATHERS!!! I was so disappointed with the food service and customer service in that specific area. The arcade was a good time for the kids. My daughter did have a blast except for that incident at that food area. Eat before you even plan on going here. Overpriced food for extremely food quality and poor customer service!!!!!

Went here the other day to spend some time with my friends. The vibes here are, and I say this without any second thoughts, amazing. And I think it's all because of the friendly staff at this location. The worker at the front desk, I believe their name was Ezra, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! I spent the night playing games in the arcade and bowling my stress away. I met a young stud, Matt was his name, that night. His eyes were illuminated by the bright arcade lights... He was cleaning the lanes and I felt like he was cleaning the air from my lungs... What a night. I think I'll be back soon.

We had my grandson's 6th Birthday🎂 here and was told the attendant would handle everything. She didn't 😒I had to constantly ask her to do things like napkins, pizza, help the children with organization with bowling turns etc. For the most she just stood back against the wall. 🙄These people should be better trained I am paying for convenience and me not having to worry about the party. To top it off they expect a gratuity. Disappointed 😞

I took my grandson to Spare Time for a birthday party. I think it is a great place they not only had bowling but video games and laser tag. I really appreciated the air hockey machine 😀

There is a lot to do here for a fun afternoon with family and/or friends. We've had a lot of fun with the laser tag. I've been multiple times now and they always seem short staffed. As long as you don't need anything from a staff member, you'll be fine. Also, I wouldn't recommend getting food there. I waited over 30 mins (and still had no service) to order a pizza. The waitress always said she'll be right back but then would disappear. I would recommend going out to eat someplace else. There is no outdoor food allowed.

Fun place for everyone! My only complaint is that there’s too many big screens everywhere, especially at the end of the lane. Kids are more distracted by whatever is playing behind each lane than looking at their own bowling game to enjoy. It is definitely not a conducive way to enjoy and focus on a game for groups or families. Other than that all good.

I really enjoyed my visit to Spare Time Bristol. The lights and sounds make any little kid excited. They have a kids bowl free program for the summer that allows kids a fun outing. Food is good and easily customizable. Staff was incredibly friendly and willing to help out, very excited about their jobs and to help customers. Birthday party options are great and easy to book. Great managers! Great place to visit overall.

Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere. Shoes were a bit difficult to get to the tightness I like since it was velcro, but everything is new, clean, and had great music playing. Was impressed to see waiters coming to each lane to offer beverages and food menu. We didn't get food this time but maybe next time we will.

My 5 & 8 year old love this place!!! (So do I) We just discovered Spare Time about a year ago and have been there like 9 times already. Their restaurant is really good, especially for a bowling alley/arcade. They also have laser tag and a gift shop to cash in points won in the arcade. My kids each got 2 items from the gift shop last time we went and they still have over 16,000 points left. I'm sure we'll be there again this weekend.

They have some very nice 1 to 4 player games. In addition there is the bowling lanes. Spare Time also has a sports bar and grill. So they are not just catering to kids but adults who are still kids. I took my grandson there recently and used a coupon that I purchased a while back that gave us $100 worth of game play for $40. Get on their mailing so you know when these specials are available.

Really fun place! Cute selfie cartoons on the tv screens when you bowl. And plenty of arcade games. One game did steal my money but it’s cool.

Had a pretty good time, disappointed with a few things though. They are getting rid of the VR game center, which was a big draw for us. A number of arcade games were out of service, which was a bummer, and at the time we went there were no snack bar options: the restaurant was not yet open and the vending machine didn't take cards, all the while not allowing in any outside drink. Laser tag and bowling were a big hit with the kids.

Been going here for a few years with my kids and they love it. It has bowling on one side and an arcade with a laser tag (which my son loves) on the other side. Great place for family fun! Esp on those rainy days when you have nothing to do.

Myself and the kids always have a wonderful time bowling arcades laser tag they have it all. The food is not five stars but always comes out hot and it's delicious. Wonderful activity for the whole family.

This place was hopping last night. A lot of positive energy. It had the perfect balance of having a crowd, while not being overly crowded. Too empty, and there's no energy. Too packed, you can't get to the arcades or bowling. Music was just loud enough without being deafening. The arcades were lots of fun, especially the basketball connect four and the rat race roller coaster arcade. We didn't even get to the laser tag yet. Definitely recommend it.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I went here with a group of about 15 people. It was busy so we had to play 6 lanes apart from each other (which is fine, I understand it was busy) When the lane opened up next to us we asked if the other lane that we paid for multiple games could be switched so we can be near each other. The employees gave us such a hard time about it. Saying they needed to sanitize it and switching lanes just could not be done. Eventually an employee came, sanitized everything and allowed the lanes to be switched. Then while in the middle of the game, they turned off the game and switched it to other players. I asked for a refund seeing that I was unable to complete the game I had paid for. Employees told me I couldn’t get a refund because someone had asked for my game to be turned off 🙄 (not true after speaking to that “someone” they where referring to). THEN after one of our lanes had finished a game they quickly put new customers on our lane that we had not finished with, had pizza and drinks still on the table, we planned on still using that lane for more games, and didn’t not sanitize the lane for these new customers (that was so important to them to do to switch our lane earlier) AWFUL customer service. Will not return

We love bowling at Spare Time. I had my daughter's birthday party here and we had a great experience. It made our day so much more enjoyable than hosting a party at our house. Diane was who we primarily dealt with and she was excellent, she went above and beyond to make sure everything went off without a hitch. It was affordable and everyone had fun. We will definitely have another party here!

Had an amazing time bowling with friends. Only thing i had an issue with was service. Just seemed to take long to have anyone come check on our lane to see if we were all set and if we needed anything. I just had to flag someone down. I know it was quite busy so that i get. Otherwise we all had a great time and will be coming back for more with family and friends.
