It is amazing to see how much this establishment grew! My husband, father in law and myself have been coming here for 8 years and we always go home with extra Gillnetter!

Though I don't drink beer I wanted to visit this brewry as it just looked cool. Went on August 27th and the atmosphere was great. I was given a few tasters of what they make and actually liked the Scurcy Dog Spruce Ale. BUT I ordered the Sea Cider which they don't make, but is still made in BC. Service was great, love the signs and picked up a sweater!

The bartender was absolutely amazing and had great knowledge of the beers. Overall awesome experience and will definitely be returning before leaving Prince Rupert. The brewery is located with a beautiful view of the harbour and as the evening fog drifted in, it was easy to see how the Foggy Harbour NEIPA got its name.

It was a little dark inside, some games to play. A great West facing entrance that's just begging for a patio for that afternoon sun, but alas we are putting chairs by the entrance to get a taste of beer and sun! I tried a citrus blonde ale named Vitamin Sea, I thought it might be low on IBU, like most blonde ales, but it was actually a bit hoppy. Now I asked for a less hoppy beer and was recommended the "scurvy dog spruce ale". Now with spruce in the name I thought this would be all about hops, but not at all. Very pleasant. A definite all day beer. Also tried the "all inclusive" sour. This is a great beer for those that like sours, or might want to try them. Not to much pucker power in this one, just a nice easy drinking beer with a twist! Take home bottles were actually better value than glasses at the brewery, don't necessarily understand why. 480ml glasses were the same price as the 650 ml bottles in the fridge ($6.50-$6.75)

One of the best breweries north of Kamloops! I fully enjoy visiting Wheelhouse and they have a great selection of excellent beers. Well worth coming here and spending an extra night in town to visit the brewery.

Probably the best patio-view in western BC, with absolutely excellent beer to match. Staff are wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful! (I asked a question about a beer only to have the brewer show up to personally answer it!) Dessert food, ginger beer, and the regular beer were all amazing. The patio is dog-friendly, so bring your best friend!

The Gillnetter Golden Ale is a nice substitute to Newcastle's Brown Ale. Top notch ale in my opinion and would be my regular if I could buy it in Victoria. I'd like to see this sold down south and regret not stocking up before heading out of town.

Awesome pizza, had vegan option (shown in picture)! Great wine as well for a brewery. Views of the water are stunning from the patio

RACIST. I'd heard they have a bad attitude to people of colour, and my partner is half native, so I never planned to go to this establishment. It does look like a nice new location and we were invited to join a friend, so gave them a chance last night. The bearded owner/manager at the register had an odd demeanour, directed his invitations to come back again at the blonde male in our party only, and should probably not work in service. The pizza came burnt.
