Can’t speak highly enough about this place and has become our most favourite breakfast in Victoria. We almost always get the golden breakfast which is simply exquisite but also have had some of the specials in the past. Coffee drinks are absolutely divine- my fave is the salty latte. Staff are always delightful and the actual restaurant has gorgeous views of the gardens and really cute decor on the inside. I hope this establishment continues for many more years to come! we will always come back

All around 5 stars cafe. Very cute, great location, you also get a discount on your visit to the garden if you bring your receipt from C&Q same day. Minimum $10 per person. Great deal! Thank you for this adorable cafe.

Beautiful oatmilk lattes that taste even better than they look! The beetroot and tumeric lattes were to die for! I loved that they felt rich but lightly sweetened.

Nice servers but extremely slow service. Random inedible greenery and flowers on all plates. The water was warm, and the seating was in direct sun. Food quality was great but prices were a bit steep for what you get. Latte was good and very pretty. Flowers in drinks both had bugs unfortunately. I hate to leave critical reviews, but... Yikes. You might love it! It had some charm and appeal, but know what you're in for before you go.

Charlotte and the Quail is one of my favourite places to get brunch. If you have ever had Norish you would love this place but for me personally I love the food here more! Although there isn’t a big selection on of food, they can accommodate to your dietary needs. Their drinks and food are prepared and presented so beautifully and the nice part about it is that you can pop by hpc gardens afterwards! It also feels really homey there and everyone is so so nice! I love sitting out on the patio if there’s any seats available. Here is what I ordered, I got the Bean & Eggs with Bacon and my boyfriend got the Chicken Tartine with the Soup of the Day! I don’t know where they get their Bacon from but it was so so good! I loved the Cashew Hollandaise and their Baked Beans. The sweet potatoes pairs nicely with the Hollandaise! The Chicken Tartine was good too, the soup was super yummy! As for drinks we got the Pink Rose and Matchalicious Latte. So if you don’t want to wait in big lines for Nourish, definitely head down here!

Such a quaint little brunch spot. The service was friendly to the point where we felt like regulars despite it being our first time there, and the ambience/atmosphere was very chill. Their drinks are super delicious and their food is equally tasty. Access to the Gardens is also only $6/pp with your meal receipt.

We had their golden breakfast + sausage and it was amazing. Super balanced and fresh. A beautiful view of the garden from the patio. Lovely staff. Strongly recommend.

This place has really interesting beverages and breakfasts. It's got a really tight menu (6 meal options) and is very vegan friendly. 3 of us bicycled here, and its a gem of a cafe hidden away next to a beautiful flower garden.

Quiet haven but can be busy at peak times. Simple but delicious food elegantly served. Not to be missed! First come, first served.

So many places boast they have good food. And while that may be true, Charlotte and the Quail have not only great food, but it's beautiful too! Their menu may look small, but it is mighty! Goliath, meet your David! The atmosphere, staff and wonderful food with local ingredients make this a must see and taste! And hey, you can thank me later. Happy eating! ;)

Congratulations on this amazing place! They absolutely combine the natural elements in a plate. I could say it's one of the most colourful and tasty meals I have ever tried. I consider that the chef has a lot of creativity to mix food and flowers. Great staff too! Be aware that it could that up to 30-40 min to be served.

I love this place. I was visiting Victoria and was nearby, so decided to give it a try. We also checked out the garden, which was lovely. The food is so healthy, tasty, and nourishing. The service from the ladies was very nice. And their coffee was delicious! We ended up coming back the next day with a friend. We loved it so much and wish we could go all the time. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Charlotte and the Quail just made my mom's 70th birthday so special, she has many dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate us with the most friendly and prompt service. The food they made was not only delicious but beautifully presented with so many flowers and herbs. Everyone loved it! Thank you!

An extremely quaint restaurant tucked in some beautiful scenery. High quality service with a delightful, gluten free menu and a presentation you won't forget. Definitely worth going out of your way.

A idyllic little brunch spot in a stunning setting. All the dishes are balanced and very gourmand. A great spot to impress visitors to Victoria or your date.

This is an adorable place, but unfortunately the food was not very good. I ordered the mushroom Tartin with the soup of the day and a poached egg. The soup was a cauliflower and caramelized onion soup- two of us ordered it and we had to send it back because it was just not good at all ☹️. The waitress was very sweet and got me a salad instead. Maybe other things on the menu are better but for me this was a little bit disappointing- it is also quite expensive for what it is, so I was expecting it to be delicious.

They put so much care into their ingredients and flavours. But the atmosphere the staff creates is really what makes this place shine. They are so sweet and friendly each other and the clientele. It can get really busy on weekends, try coming here in a weekday to experience a relaxed west coast brunch. To the comment below re: “inedible flowers and greens:” my dude, all restaurants serve only edible flowers/greens by FoodSafe standards… but especially this farm-to-table resto in the middle of a botanical gardens isn’t gonna cheat you 😅

My beautiful and loving 'sister' and I celebrate our special occasions in the glory of this exquisite, joy-filled garden spot. Always a delight in every way. The Pink Rose Latté and Golden Breakfast bowl is not only a very fine work of art but also tantalizes the palette in magical ways. Afterward, have a wander through the peaceful gardens! A hidden gem!!!

A perfect brunch!!! This place is cosy and people are so inviting, and serves incredibly fresh food. The host was super friendly and he made the most beautifully yummy drinks. Our server lady was so sweet, she just added to the experience. These folks take pride in what they make and do, it surly showed. And the garden was a bonus!!

A beautiful cafe in a beautiful garden location! They cater well to special dietary needs and have exceptional customer service. Everything tasted fresh as if it came from the garden itself. Also, their drinks are unusual and charming.

😠 Had bad experience today there, they brought me old onion rings, probably reheated from yesterday, dark in colour, oily, cold and not crispy. In addition apple pie had too much baking soda in it The worst thing about it that they still charged me 6.99 for bad onion rings after complaining to the wai...
