I’ve been frequenting this bar/pub/restaurant/gastropub since the days of it being known as The Spinnaker. I believe the business partners fell out at some point, legend has it one put a chainsaw through the bar!! Anyway, it’s been The Prince William for some years now, and over those I’ve often called by for drinks, and have been in several times for food. It’s very good, the decor is excellent and seems to ever improve… many drinks available and the food is excellent. I would very much recommend, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Booked for the festive menu tonight (Sunday, 12th December). Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Two courses for £20, three for £25 - although individually the portions aren't 'massive' in size, they are more than filling. I had the monkfish goujons for starters,sea bass for main, and creme brulee for dessert - all of which were fabulous. The festive menu comes with free mulled wine and peanuts. It's my first time in TPW, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Great and friendly service.

Amazing food pizza was perfect. Lovely to sit outside and enjoy the picturesque views of the harbour and the town. Cocktails great and friendly staff

My husband and I went here while we were in Brixham and wow it was well worth a visit! We sat outside for a drink before our meal, it was busy and bustling. We then went for our meal and our dog Galaxy was with us. The whole area we sat in was dog friendly which was lovely. I had all local fish for my dinner and the Brixham caught clam chowder was the best I have ever eaten. My husband has lamb koftas as a main and thoroughly enjoyed them. I hope to return to Brixham one day and I will definitely come back here.

So on my wonderful trip to Brixham we came here on our first night and our last night for dinner because we just absolutely loved it. The food was exceptional and well worth the slightly higher price tag. Definitely, in my opinion, the best place to eat in the area (of what we tried anyway which was quite a few places!). The staff are lovely too which only adds to its greatness. The coffee as well is very, very good! Definitely recommend.

Food very nice, would have been good to have a better selection for veg and £4.95 for extra roasties is excessive else it would be 5*

We regularly visit the Prince William as we live in Brixham so it's only fair that we give them a review. Lovely pub with a great selection of food and drink. Staff are very friendly and the pub is child and dog friendly. Really modern interior and plenty of outdoor seating. Yesterday we had Sunday lunch and it was very nice and well presented with plenty of vegetables. Prices are what you would expect but by no means overpriced. Highly recommended

Really liked the quirky decor, those huge gold log lights with crystal drops were stunning! Cosy atmosphere and the staff were lovely and friendly! Especially the young lady who brought my husband water n took the bill (blond, glasses) she was really sweet! 👌 food was delicious! I had a cheese and chutney toasted sandwich with fries on the side, and it was gorgeous! My husband had the gammon ham one, presented beautifully and it was nice and relaxing hour! Set us up for the huge walk back to the car! Would definitely visit again!

We went as a family of four. 2 of us had the seafood sharing platter. It was amazing. Definitely recommend. Fish and chips and the pizza went down well.

This place is lovely. We went in for lunch and the food was amazing. All staff were so helpful and friendly. It was busy enough to have a nice atmosphere but quiet enough to enjoy conversation and company. Love the unique decor. Especially the ‘Shakesbear’ bust as you walk in. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again when I’m in town.

A stunning little gem, well decorated and lit. Food was beautiful just a shame to be let down on service. Food was prompt but no offer of additional condiments, nor to check food was ok or if more drinks were required. We were then left sitting for a very long time trying to get the attention of a number of waitresses talking amongst themselves for the bill and to clear our dirty plates. Only after catching the eye of the manager working behind the bar that a waitress was directed over to our table. All in all a nice place to eat, kitchen gets a massive thumbs up from us from the food it produced but the waiting staff need re training as they did appear on the younger less experienced side which i appreciate everyone needs to learn but this lets down what is/could be an amazing dining establishment.

Nice location friendly staff, but not much choice of food and even less gluten-free food. We ordered the burger and chips when it turned up, but there was not a bun, which you get used to. But they still charge you full price. Not even a small amount off carnish with the burger. My wife loved the fish and chips, so it's just gluten-free food.

A lovely place for a meal with gorgeous views of the harbour. Prices are very reasonable for the food you get. A good variety of meals/starters and desserts. My personal recommendation is the Scallops to start with, delicious! We went over xmas and it was tastefully decorated and with a lovely tree. A clean and tidy place with very comfy seating. Service was excellent, very friendly and can't do enough for you. Definitely recommended!

Really popular venue. We had drinks earlier in the day, enjoying an unseasonably warm October, then booked for Sunday roast at 19.00. We were served by Tommy and a young lady who were both friendly and efficient. The roast was plentiful, great value and very tasty. My wife voted it best roast she's ever eaten at a restaurant 👍 The dessert choice was about 4 options but those chosen were spot on and rounded off a great meal and eating experience 😋 The bill was good value at circa £65. The Prince William is heartily recommended by us both!!

We had a father's day meal for 4. Brilliant meal. Sunday roast. Excellent. Came last Sunday and come here every holiday. Reasonable price for such a good meal.

Beautiful food! Very tasty, well presented and obviously only the best ingredients used. One of the best burgers I've had! The service was also great. Very attentive staff who gave service with a smile.

Lovely modern decoration, very comfortable. Served by Marc, very friendly and informative about the local area and in particular details of the local fish etc. Lovely food, we had the fish and chips and chowder. 100% recommend!

We enjoyed a lovely evening at The Prince William. As always food was delightful, the staff, Matt, Pablo, Vicky & Hayley were very polite and attentive and a credit to the Prince William. Highly recommend this eatery. Wishing all a Merry Christmas.

My parents and I had the best time here, the staff are always absolutely lovely. Donna was our server who was super kind and had a laugh with us! The chicken supreme was incredible (eaten too quickly before pictured!) And the sticky toffee was just divine. Loved the vibe here and everything seems like such a treat. Will definitely be returning everytime we visit Brixham. Thank you for such a lovely time 💗

Excellent restaurant, beautiful new decor, great service from smiling staff. Great menus choices from local produce. Excellent fish from Tristan on BM79 Adela the smallest trawler in Brixham. Enjoyed very good plaice cooked expertly by the chef at Prince William. Highly recommended, book to guarantee to sit inside or turn up on the day.

Very nicely decorated inside. The lamb koftas were very nice (but very expensive). However, the buddha bowl came out and half the things stated on the menu (rice & kimchi) were missing but the staff resolved it very nicely, refunded the dish (which we weren't expecting at all) and cooked a fresh one which was also very nice. They also have a separate building for ice cream which was quite good.

Just had a fantastic meal here. I had the Sea Bass which was divine. The kids had the Burger and all devoured. In a beautiful setting in Brixham Harbour. Tip would book table online as can get very busy when the sun is out.

Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. Only let down was a group of very loud diners with a lot of dogs in the restaurant barking a lot! An awful lot of diners had dogs indoors which I found odd as it's not something we usually see at home - dogs in outside spaces at pubs and restaurants maybe but not usually inside. Anyway, it wouldn't put us off coming back for a second visit as the food was so good and well priced and the portion size was epic! We were well and truly defeated by them! Best restaurant we've tried in Brixham by a mile!
