Very average place for daily lunch menus, with reasonably low prices. Sometimes (more often than not), the waiting for menu takes too long - even thirty minutes and more. You can also visit this place when you are up for a beer and you probably won't be disappointed. Decent selection and waitresses checking whether you have everything you need quite regularly. Practical for beer, inefficient for lunch.

Nice pub near Brno main railway station. Interesting business model where you have the tap directly in the table and you can draw your own beer. The tables then compete against each other in how many beers you've drunk. The services and prices are ok, the food was very good though the menu is a typical Czech pub food.

I and other three friends have been to Mamut for having a dinner. We definitely didn't expect the bad experience we had. The waiter was very rude, as well as the two waitress there. I asked for a menu, the reply was "you must wait". That's OK. Then, I told him this is not the way to manage people come to the restaurant and he reply was "you are not my problem". In the whole time we was there, a couple of guy left probably without paying because the rude manners of waiters. After a while another couple left again. After that we was going to leave due to the bad manners, the waiters told us, he would call the police if we hadn't paid, absolutely right. We paid and we left after 30 minutes more or less. I have been to mamut in the past, probably changed the management, don't know, but for now I definitely suggest to avoid the restaurant due to the bad staff working there. Don't go there, they really don't deserve any crowns for them bad behavior.

Visited for a lunch and a few beers before heading to the airport. More of a cafe vibe than a bar / pub but great nonetheless. Excellent service, quality beer, good food, and the pricing was excellent.

Ok place near the main station where you can tap your own beer. Waiter won't bother you just will make sure you have everything you need on regular basis.

The beer taps on the tables are nice and easy way to get you really drunk. Food was OK. Service has been cold and unfriendly every time I've been here. Also pay attention while paying your bill, as some of the staff might over charge (scam) you money...

We were in this pub in march 2020 as part of my friend's bachelor party as a group of 14 people and our places were in the basement where you can tap the beer on your table yourself. the pub has a great look, the beer is tasty and the idea to tap it yourself and pay the litres afterwards is really really fine! the waiter which severed us was very nice, polite and friendly! the food is also good and the prices are cheap and they playing rock music in the basement, so this was ideal for us. There's really nothing to complain about and it was a total pleasure to be in this pub, straight 5 stars!

Food is really good and the whole environment as well. I was really satisfied of the portions and the flavours. Service was a bit slow.
