Disappointing experience. Although the museum is not small, I think the experience is far from ideal. The museum is outdated and the pricing is not straightforward. There are 3 options you can choose, the museum, the chapel and tower, or the medieval casemates. There is no combi ticket which I find a bit absurd. The museum is not small, however the descriptions in the rooms are only in Czech. If you want to read, they have some sort of old fashioned booklets in English and other languages, however these are not intuitive and it is not always clear what section or part it is referring to. In addition there are some objects or parts that have a description in Czech in the room but no corresponding section in the booklet. There is a lot of history but unfortunately it is not optimized for people who don't read Czech. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the experience and do not really recommend coming here unless they modernize and optimize the experience for tourists.

Nice view, but that is for free. Bought a ticket to a museum, but it was really complicated to which parts my ticket was valid, not transparent at all. The stuff in the museum was okey, but not much explanations (many also only in Czech).

A must go-to when in Brno. The castle is quite large, both inside and outside, and it is quite a climb to get there. but very doable of course through a nice park. There is not much english explanation, for example it took me a while to find out where to buy the tickets to the museum. it is in a corner of the first square inside the walls. the main entrance to the museum is in the next (and last) square. I advice you to take some kind of translator app. It was quite disappointing that they do not have english translations in most of the exhibitions. In several rooms I had no clue what it was about. I do not remember a lot of the exhibition, I was a bit underwhelmed. The only thing that stuck was some kind of fireworks gallery. And the free view from the walls over all of brno. There is also a museum under the castle, seperate entrance, which is very much worth it because of nice old kazemats.

Location and views are five star. Museum a little underwhelming as it's a little complicated if you don't speak Czech. Plenty of information but could be laid out better and be more explanatory for those who aren't familiar with it - which would be vast majority of tourists. Still a worthwhile hour.

The museum ticket includes the art galleries and design exhibition, this place is huge, you walk through almost the total of 3 levels of the castle. It took me 4 hours to get through it.

The curation has not been changed for more than 50 years probably, even the glass protecting the exhibits is sooo dirty, reeks of communist curation There are English and German texts, I did like the modern Brno exhibit which presented the innovations in architecture with ample text It's worth the money for the ticket, three floors of exhibits is still a lot to take in even if most is not aptly presented, but this part of the Castle actually is worth seeing
