Amazing Motel located nearby the main street "Argent Street". Walking distance to local pubs and historical BHP mining sites. Pool is a plus after a hot day visiting Silverton and Mad Max style landscapes. VERY VERY CLEAN I would have given 6/5 if I could.

Each time we visit Broken Hill we stay at Old Willyama, location is perfect, right price and rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are super comfy as well. Can't wait to get back there again, heaps to see and do in Broken Hill.

The Old Willyama Motor Inn was a great overnight stop for us as we drove through. The room was tidy and very comfortable. The service was awesome but just found the price a little high.

I recently stayed at the Willyama and was not impressed with the service. First night a storm hit and water was coming in under the door so badly that I had to use all the towels in the room against the door and move the bed to the other side of the room. Power went out, no hot water and after hrs number was not answered. Message left. No response. Next morning still no power, no hot water and admin still did not see guests. That night, room had been made up however carpet was still soaking wet and admin staff still no where to be seen.. don't even get me started on the terrible Chinese room service from the restaurant over fried and inedible!

Extremely friendly staff, comfortable very clean rooms location was perfect. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Old Willyama Motor Inn for two nights in October. The property was clean, well stocked and well maintained. There is off-street parking and access is via Iodide Street, Barrier Highway and Silver City Highway. It is at the corner of Iodide and Argent Street so is within easy walking distance to Broken Hill Station and eateries on Argent Street (we tried Cafe Alfresca and The Palace Hotel). Wednesday night was Karaoke Night at The Palace and it sounded like it was getting quite boisterous! The property owners were very friendly warning us not to leave town due to a current thunderstorm warning on the first night. (the creeks and side streets flood during storms and you can get stranded). Overall the town is quite colourful with many flowers and lush green spaces. There is also a lot of wind and solar power around.

Nice room, very clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Good location and walking distance to many facilities. Definitely recommend!

Clean and well appointed, just be aware that there is no servicing of the room on Sundays or public holidays.

We had a great stay at Old Willyama Motel. The rooms were clean and well appointed for our family of 5 and the location was great to explore town and surrounds. Staff were fantastic! The lovely Rose even drove me to the airport when I couldn't get a taxi. We will definitely stay here again when we're next in town.

Wanted to book two rooms for June, reception supposed to be open, rang mobile number with no response, went elsewhere.

Room was very good. Manager and motel staff were great. Location was good, but is just outside one end of the main street. Only a problem if you enjoy a drink and don't want to drive to venues further along Argent St and you don't like walking. We were happy to walk. Only reason I have given a 4 Star rating rather than 5 Star is the restaurant. Food was average, house wine was a mistake and not particularly friendly staff. I would recommend the motel and would stay there again, but skip the restaurant.
