We had an amazing experience at this park 12/2/2023. My children has a complete blast. My daughter and I rode the fairy-wheel ride and my son did the train. We did the parade and the shops. Brilliant idea to install portable modern portable toilets. Overall thanks for keeping the city traditions alive. We loved the Septa bus decor….

My youngest and her best friend turned 16 years old in December. They had their 16th birthday party on the ice skating rink with friends and family. Very fun and surprisingly, not too expensive. My husband and I even got a chance to walk around on our own. Such a great place to take kids any time of the year….so much history to explore.

What an amazing place to be! Perfect example of community focused modern urban infrastructure! Seems futuristic. Great architecture, vibe, people, and music! Bring your friends, grab food, play in the water, and relax!

Great clean park outside of city hall so it's convenient to shops and restaurants. There are pop up markets. Fountains shoot up from the ground for kids to play on hot days. There's lots of seating, tables and picnic areas as well. Security patrols 24/7.

Beautiful area with colorful plantings, outdoor seating, occasional special events, summer time cooling water fountains for children and the young at heart to play in. After dark though it gets pretty shady and dangerous.

What a neat little park, The night time vibe was so cool. We actually spent a good while here hanging out, laughing, enjoying the lights, music, people, the statues and flowers...wished the coffee spot was open when we were here. I was so impressed with this little gem, truly one of my trip highlights.

The Christmas Market is always a delight in December. From a great variety of food, the essential Glühwein stalls, skaters, Christmas projections on the City Hall, to roundabouts and Ferris wheels, it’s definitely worth spending half an hour expiring the many stalls. The only complaint I’d have is that so many stalls sell jewelry, posters and cosmetics: not exactly traditional Christmas Market fare…

Have you been to Bryant Park in Manhattan during the holidays? Do you enjoy Rockefeller Center’s tree? Honestly, Dilworth Park is a hybrid of the 2, except Philadelphia Style! There are stands for puppies, kids and adults. There’s food and drink, as well as cool boutique tents. If you’re worried about safety, it’s all good! The pic I posted was on an early December Wednesday night at 8pm. I would recommend bringing your family or a date or your pups or yourself to Dilworth Park for the holidays. You can legit spend quite a bit of time there. PS: Don’t use the Dunkin across from City Hall, the coffee is watered down :)

I just LOVE Dilworth Park, especially during the Christmas Season 🎄 The happiness of people/animals, lights, music, activities, food, drinks and shops with any and everything you could want just brings so much positive energy to the city. My favorite highlights are the Philly Christmas tree🎄 The ferris wheel 🎡 and the Ice rink. The Daytime is beautiful, but at the is the Best. The city looks Magical 😍

Beautiful park in the heart of Philadelphia. The main City Christmas tree stands here during the holiday season, ice rink, and winter village shops. There are fountians here in the summertime. You walk through the City Hall Building passage. It's a nice place. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Great and fantastic old structure with great atmosphere. Walk around or sit down and grab a coffee or sandwich and enjoy your day without stressing out about the stresses of life. Just look at this magnificent structure which is just out of this world structurally magnificent. Who wouldn’t want this to be their city hall! The weather was great and was way hot for New York but was great. So take your time when you’re at this park and enjoy all around you.

I love Dilworth Park. Beautiful views of City Hall, variety of community activities (I love the skating rink in the winter, as well as the booths to enjoy some hot meals or drinks). My experience is extremely positive; one of the best places to spend time in Philadelphia, whether you are coming for tourism or if you live in the city and are looking to spend some relaxing time. I don't have the slightest idea how anyone could rate it negatively.

I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon in Philly so I took advantage of it and walked around as much as I could. My hotel was a few blocks from Dilworth park so I decided to end my afternoon there and I have no regrets! You see people sitting down chatting, or reading, they had a workout class on one side whike kid where playing in the water. I sat there relaxing and enjoying all that was happening around me for more time than I dare to admit! Lovely place!

Not bad at all for a downtown area very pretty and clean. The only downside to this place and to Philadelphia city is that it doesn't seem to be a safe city at night when some of this places could be enjoyable. A lot of the locals I asked if they considered their city safe? Said no don't go out in the dark. That is lost revenue for the city and for businesses in the area.

It's fine for a visit. Always something going on whether it's ice skating in the winter or roller skating in the summer. The area is open with plenty of seating. There are often tables set up with giveaways - sunglasses, pens, food, etc. Some food purchase options within the park and many just outside the park. Parking is nearly impossible around the park but the surrounding streets have 2-hr metered street parking. It's possible to find a spot if you try hard enough. Get the app for parking so you can extend your time if you are not close to the car when the meter expires. Parking tickets are ubiquitous in Philly.

The people, weather, atmosphere, and ice was absolutely perfect! Everyone should go skate, shop at the Christmas Village, eat some food, see the light show, and just enjoy your family, friends, fellow Philadelphians & visitors! I promise that you won't be disappointed!

I grew up on 16th and Market by the Fox Building that is now gone. Philadelphia used to be an amazing city with lots & lots of unique architecture and character. But much of that was razed and sold-out for a few to make a couple to profit as opposed to the entire city benefiting. It now has a large conference center after destroying a neighborhood and many upscale restaurants that mostly tourists and visitors use.

A really nice winter market right in front of the Philadelphia City hall. They had plenty of small shops as well as an ice skating rink. People congregate and you are able to get food and drinks while you hang out at the park.

I was visiting from out of town and was not familiar w8th this park. We found it on accident and what a great find. I love the outdoor european vhristmas market set up. There is a cozy little cafe and bar where you can get food and see all around you. We ice skated and shopped. Would be a great place to bring kids.

Thank you City Hall for providing public restrooms. Usually there is adequate seating and I loved the free movie night option during the summer. Really great under the skyscraper lights. Fountains are fun to walk through or get misted on by when you sit near them. Security is usually very nice and professional. Like the seasonal shows and activities. Very cool all around. Thanks, Philly!

The Christmas market was open so early here! We stumbled upon it and had to take the opportunity to ice skating. Can't miss hot chocolate afterwards all the walking and activities.

We had a great time at dilworth park. My children and I were walking over to Love park when we realized there was a festival going on! They had music, jugglers, a roller skating rink and a lot more. It was a nice treat!

So much fun. The kids loved playing in the water. There is food to purchase and very nice trailer bathrooms. Parking is scarce so have patience to circle or pay $21 dollars at City Park.

The skate floor was very unsafe. I saw so many advance skates fall and even skinned knees. They should be ashamed of themselves to have such an uneven floor! But we made the best of it. We left 20 minutes after being on the floor. I little disappointed. Maybe a good place to bring kids but not for those who skate.

Small but feature rich. It’s got a cafe and fountains and tables and chairs and sometimes market stalls. Abuts city hall.

It is a beautifully redone area where your little ones can splash around and some water, while the adults watch on. There's even a skating rink that turns into an ice rink in the winter.

My grandsons and I went last Saturday evening, 1/15. It was a bit cold that night. Around 20° , other than that. It was a great experience for the boys, being it was their first time on ice skates. Friendly people and service. The rink attendant was awesome. Younger black gentleman. I was truly pleased the way handled himself. It's great to see a young black gentleman being respectful and Courteous. I will definitely be taking my boys back, just on a warmer night.

As far as city parks go, it offers certain things for certain people. If you like ice skating in the winter, shopping at the Christmas Village when it here, or public movies in the summer, this might be your place. I'll come here occasionally to take photos, and that's about it.
