I have been met with a tremendous amount of care and sincerity at Body and Brain (Brookline location specifically). I walked in not knowing what to expect and have since learned practical skills for creating and tuning into the feeling of groundedness in my body and cultivating self love. It has been both educational and practical, and the teachers are genuinely invested in your journey. In my experience they have gone above and beyond. If you are looking for alternative ways to address mental health, this could be an extremely beneficial and refreshing addition to your toolkit. It's also the first and so far only place where I have learned about the chakras from a practical standpoint which is pretty exciting! I will say that I sometimes don't feel that the yoga aspect quite cuts it as a physical practice - for this reason it doesn't necessarily replace other yoga classes, but at the same time it also gives you something much much more than other yoga classes.

I have been a member for a few months now and I have found great benefit from this practice. I had never tried anything like this in the past and i definitely found myself stepping out of my comfort zone through out these months, which was a challenge, but I always knew it was something I needed to do to have a more complete life. I was able to do so in a welcoming and non judging environment and I have since notice changes in how approach challenges in my everyday life. There is a great sense of community and support and I have experience the instructors there going the extra mile for me when I needed it several times. I have had a great personal experience 👍

Body & Brain is unlike any other studios I’ve practiced at. The instructors are amazing! They’re really invested in your well-being and fully support you on your health and wellness journey. Some classes are more physically challenging than others which is nice depending on what you need at that time, and they conveniently offer both in-person & online classes. I always leave class feeling better mentally and physically. I’ve learned so much since practicing at B&B and it continues to have a very positive impact on my daily life- very grateful to have stumbled upon their studio!

I came to Body and Brain at a time where lots of changes were happening in my life and I was suffering from anxiety. In the short months I've been taking classes here, I feel more centered, relaxed and at ease. I now try to take 3 classes a week and meditate daily and miss it when I miss a class. My life has taken a turn for the better because I have become more mindful in my thoughts and actions. I feel a profound difference in myself.

I have been going to body&brain yoga for a couple months now and cannot recommend it enough! The most unique yoga practice I have been to. The practice combines body movement with both emotional and mental practice. This is such a special place that radiates positive energy, I always walk out feeling refreshed and grounded. If you’re thinking about coming here, please do! <3 it will improve your quality of life

Body and brain has helped me access so many practices and ways of thinking that have changed my lifestyle and pointed me in the direction of my dreams :) I am so grateful for the knowledge and kindness of our masters and the open, honest practice they share with us for each class. I have been a member for 6 months and there are already several exercises I’ve learned that I incorporate into my daily routine. Through these practices I have been able to feel more grounded and safe in my body. I am able to disconnect from emotions and allow them to pass through me, rather than be overcome and paralyzed by them. It is such a gift to have the skills to connect with your body in this way and I’m so grateful to Body and Brain for offering it to me!

My experience at Body & Brain has been nothing short of spectacular. This is a type of yoga that encourages compassion and truly learning to love oneself. This yoga is for you if you want to work on getting in touch with your body, your emotions, even your traumas, and consequently manifest true healing. I just started a few months ago and slowly but surely I am beginning to genuinely understand the process of healing.

Brain and Body has been such a positive influence on my life since starting a few months ago. While recovering from a concussion I needed a low impact way to exercise which these classes fit perfectly. More importantly than the physical exercises though, have been the mental exercises. The training and support to dig deep into your purpose and desires has been incredible. I started making the moves I needed in my life to get where I want to go.

While I have never actually been to a studio (pandemic), I have taken multiple workshops and classes since 2/2021. Not your typical yoga, but a very good way to connect your mind with your body and shut out the noise. I have learned that when you give yourself up to the universe, the universe gives back to you. And this concept keeps appearing in almost every book I read (and I read A LOT). As weird as it may sound, I highly recommend belly button button healing as well. It really grounds me and gives me a sense of well being. Tai Chi with Courtney is awesome! Your breath flows and the movements flow (not to mention that you close your exercise rings more than once). It leaves you feeling energized for the rest of the day. I definitely have found this practice to have a positive impact on my life. You may need to give time to all come together, but when it does, it’s amazing.

When I leave a Body and Brain class I feel deep calm. That calm that comes from being connected with myself: present to both body and mind because each are relaxed and reconnected. This practice is a gift to myself that ripples out to family and friends. Meghan facilitates a special community and practice. 💚🌿🎶

Started my BnB journey almost a year ago. This experience has become an important part of my weekly life, participating at least three time weekly. More work spent during special weekend gatherings with the Grand Masters. I look forward to calming my mind, stretching my body, using muscles I didn't know could move in so many directions. BnB has been life changing for my busy, stressful, challenging life.

🫤 I went to try out a class here and then spent some time stretching and using the equipment. The gym was so clean and looked beautiful. The class was an absolute blast. I decided not to join due to the fact that one of the male trainers (I believe his name was Jamie) was boasting to his client that h...

👍👍 The BEST - I repeat - the BEST power / spiritual yoga experience you will ever have. Right here. There’s magic within these walls. What’s the secret? Because there’s magic within each of us. 😠 DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO. My Birkenstocks got stolen in the waiting room. The staff did very little to help and my shoes were never found. The classes are also overcrowded and the staff is quite average. Down Under Yoga is MUCH nicer with more experienced staff and a beautiful studio.
