Came here for the off-leash aspect. Besides the fact that the front gates don’t close and there are two entrances (so it’s not 100% fenced in) it’s an almost perfect spot. The entire thing is off-leash because it’s essentially one “big” 1/2 circle of land with a tiny playground in the center. It’s mostly a dog spot, but there were little kids in the playground which I loved because there is no fence around the playground - so everyone (dogs & humans) are in the same space. This location is off-leash from dawn to 1PM. Parking was super easy right in front of the park (unless I wasn’t supposed to park there which is always possible). PROs: Off-leash, clean, many dog/human friends, and parking. CONs: Isn’t fully fenced

Small but the best park to get to in Brookline unless you make the trek uphill

Oh, imagine a land, it's a faraway place Where the caravan camels roam Where you wander among every culture and tongue It's chaotic, but, hey, it's home When the wind's from the East And the sun's from the West And the sand in the glass is right Come on down, stop on by Hop a carpet and fly To another Arabian night As you wind through the streets At the fabled bazaars With the cardamom-cluttered stalls You can smell every spice While you haggle the price Of the silks and the satin shawls Oh, the music that plays as you move through a maze In the haze of your pure delight You are caught in a dance You are lost in the trance Of another Arabian night Arabian nights Like Arabian days More often than not are hotter than hot In a lot of good ways Arabian nights Like Arabian dreams This mystical land of magic and sand Is more than it seems There's a road that may lead you To good or to greed through The power your wishing commands Let the darkness unfold or find fortunes untold Well, your destiny lies in your hands Only one may enter here One whose worth lies far within A diamond in the rough Arabian nights Like Arabian days They seem to excite, take off and take flight To shock and amaze Arabian nights 'Neath Arabian moons A fool off his guard could fall and fall hard Out there on the dunes

Lovely park for families, dog owners and anyone wanting to get out walking. There is a paved 1/4 mile loop, play structure, swings, sand box and water fountain.

The dogs here tend to be older and more chill. A nice sizeable loop with areas to run around but not go crazy.

Nice park for kids but even better for adults. Only issue for me is that there is often standing water (? tiling/drainage not working) and the accompanying mosquito threat. Great for a picnic. Poor lighting in winter months near playground. I've seen several people doing photo shoots there, and I assume it is because it gets beautiful evening light because even on my phone camera I can get some gorgeous shots.

What I love about this park is that it's so close to home for me, and the arrangement of the trees in the middle gives a sense that the park is much larger than it actually is -- an illusion of sorts. A wonderful place to walk and clear your mind, and there's usually some people- and animal-watching too! I love to see kids playing and dogs running about.

Was looking for a quiet park as I rehab my new ACL. The dogs really take over and run around everywhere so it was not as peaceful I had hoped. Unsure when I'll return.
