You all know the drill when coming to a BBQ place, be prepared to EAT! A friend recommended this place to us years ago and we always come here on special occasions (mostly anniversaries). One thing I would recommend is booking a reservation to reserve a table because it is always busy here, waits are up to 45mins-1hr+ long on bustling days. The atmosphere is lively, food is always consistent, meats and vegetables are fresh, and the mixed drinks are SO yummy! Also tried my first ever wagyu and oh my god, literally melts in your mouth.

Tried the dine-out week lunch combo. The meats are great, fresh, juice and well marinated with different favor of sauces. The good thing is also the bad thing: because all the meats are fully seasoned, you end up with tons of sodium, which prevents you from overeat. I had four plates of meat, and I felt I was done. Therefore, I don’t think the “all-you-eat” deal is as great as it sounds like: you will be done with salt. The appetizer fried chicken is also great, juicy and tender. Overall, the dine-out-week lunch special is a must-try. The Japanese BBQ dining experience is an interesting one to have when you have friends coming to town.

The ambiance is amazing. The staff was so amazing. They always make sure that you have a clean grill to use. We didn’t have to ask. The meat are all great quality and tasty

We got all you can eat for $48 per person. It’s pretty good value and they offer a lot of dishes for it. I would recommend getting that if you’re hungry.

we went to this restaurant on Tuesday night and ordered a combo for six. One of the filet mignon pieces was severely off, and after my two friends tasted it and found it had an unusual taste, they still swallowed it. We immediately called the manager, and they took away the remaining spoiled meat that hadn't been grilled. Fortunately, there were a few pieces left on our grill, and we all smelled a sour, unpleasant odor. The manager also confirmed the meat was spoiled in the kitchen. My friends felt nauseous and unwell, making it impossible to continue the meal. We requested compensation from the restaurant. In the end, the restaurant gave us a bill with a $60 discount, explaining it was due to guest dissatisfaction. It's ridiculous. The restaurant attributed their issue to our dissatisfaction. We refused the restaurant's compensation offer. Our health and life worth only $60…

Gets a little busy but service was still fast and attentive. Love the bbq meats and matcha cake was even better. One of the best calamaris, had to get another order. Ramen was not the best but alright. My little brother loved the s’mores. Great experience overall.

We just had a wonderful evening for a friends birthday at the Gyu-Kaku location in Boston-Brookline. Our server, Miguel, was AMAZING! As a past manager/server, it was great to see such good, kind, and friendly service. Additionally, it was awesome seeing the manager step in and help as needed (which all good managers should do). The food was yummy as well. Outstanding. Thank you!

Extremely friendly service. Food is good as expected and perhaps a bit pricier than I'd like, but still worth it to not have to deal with preparing 6+ different cuts of meat at home. Looking forward to coming again in a few months.
