We came here for brunch, not knowing there was a bottomless (food) brunch in place. The food came out very quick, and could’ve been better. The tortillas on the tacos were cold and raw. Two dishes were half done, so we had to send them back to have the egg and other missing ingredients added. I did come here again for a drink and had some chips and guacamole at the bar, and it was great! Not sure if they’re just over producing for brunch, so it may be better for dinner? Still haven’t tried it just yet. The cocktails are all very good. The service is good. The atmosphere is lively, very well decorated and cute - I just hope they can put a little more effort into the food! I’d like to think we’re good judges of Mexican food as we grew up on it in Southern California, so overall - it was good, but not great. Really like the vibe of the restaurant though so will be back for drinks.

I have been to this restaurant twice for all you can eat brunch. We ordered the whole menu and enjoyed the food. For all you can eat, the food is enjoyable and good. It is not amazing. My favorite dishes were the cauliflower, fish tacos, and shrimp tacos. There are lots of drink options from coffee to mimosas. It is a fun vibe for going with friends or family. The service is okay but not great. We always had full waters which was amazing but to order it took a very long time and our waiter did not really check in. The vibe of the restaurant is very pretty and chill with both indoor and patio seating.

Really friendly staff and great terras deck, but the food was disappointing. It missed all Mexican flavors. The nachos mix (appetizer) is nice to share, but it fills you up. Next time we skip mains and just order that with some cold beers!

Loud, hip atmosphere. We came for dinnertime, the music was so loud it was hard to hear each other. Tacos were 8$ each (whew!) The blt one was pretty good. The potato one had all the same ingredients as the nachos, so a little boring.

Excellent Mexican restaurant in the heart of Washington Square in Brookline. Very cool decor and vibe inside with a beautiful bar and large windows up front letting in lots of natural light. Our server was great - attentive, nice, knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. Our drinks were awesome (got margaritas of course) and the food was truly amazing. Loaded with flavors and decent portions (it is expensive for tacos - upwards of $7 a piece). We found 3 tacos each and an app to be plenty of food for us. Overall a really great spot and one I’ll be back to again soon, I’m sure!

Lost a star for the ceviche. Everything else was perfect- top notch service, great atmosphere, great food. Ceviche lacked protein and was watery and mild. Birra taco was incredible

We met up with some friends and each had the Saturday brunch. We are not leaving Burro Bar hungry. There were a wide range of options to choose from. My images will show each dish. I can highly recommend Burro Bar if you want tasty Spanish food.

The food was fantastic! The only reason it's getting four instead of five stars is for the value. The tacos we're between $6-7.5 per taco which seems pricey. I'd almost feel better about the price if they made it a plate with two tacos, rice and beans for something like $15. Anywho, would still recommend for folks to try it out.

Went here for bottomless brunch…absolutely delicious at a price you can’t beat. Service is friendly and quick, while the ambiance is pretty uncrowded and relaxing. I would highly recommend the French Toast, Molettes, and Chicken + Waffles. Plates are small which adds to the fun of unlimited ordering. Makes for a great morning!

Second time there and probably our last. We made a reservation + came at 10 AM so there were only approx 5 tables total. Half of our food never came out and the ones that did took forever or were delivered to the wrong table. We noticed a steady stream of servers bringing plates to other tables, but not ours. We flagged our server and they retook our order but, again, items were missing. We were tired of waiting so we paid and left in less than 1 hour into our 90-min meal. This is very disappointing as our first time there was great. Even though it was PACKED, the service and food were great so I recommended it to everyone. Now I'm embarrassed I ever endorsed them. To add insult to injury, the tipping options started at 20+% (23 / 25 / 28 I believe) even after adding a mandatory 5% kitchen fee to the bill. Please do not normalize taxing and tipping customers 28%. That is exorbitant. A suggestion I have for the restaurant is to please fix your portion sizes so they are consistent and can minimize food waste. The tacos, chilaquiles, torta, and french toast were all similarly sized (tapas / small plates) but other items, like waffles and brussel sprouts, were not.

It's a lovely restaurant with lots of interesting Mexican decorative flair. The service was excellent, no complaints there. We went on a cool summer night, and the AC was blasting. It was far too cold, and I heard the same from other customers. I know I should have spoken up, but I didn't. The portions are incredibly generous. The kale salad appetizer could have easily been a meal on its own. It was really nice, but it had far too much cheese on it. It would have been great if it had about 60% less cheese. The blackened salmon taco was excellent, as were the chips and salsa. I'd recommend the brussel sprouts as well, which were cooked perfectly. An overall excellent value.

Burro bar is excellent for both bottomless brunch, and a tasty dinner. I have been multiple times and every experience is wonderful! The food is amazing, the drinks are perfect, and everyone who works there is just so pleasant. They are also great at accommodating large groups!

I went for brunch. Definitely go during this time. For $25 a person you get all you can eat tapas. The food came out so quick and was so good!
