What happened!!! Ordered curbside. Bland - stuffed shrimp and crab dip. Absolutely no flavor!! The dip was bacially the crab imperial with a slither of cheese on top.. Shrimp were broiled beautifully .... but had absolutely NO flavor, none. Garlic mash potatoes ... potatoes & garlic .. not a hint of butter or salt. Best thing was the salad and bread sticks...

It's a classic restaurant that has been around for a while. Their menu is timeless and classic. The atmosphere is quaint and clean. Food is delicious and timely. The bar is clean and suffice for anyone who just wants to have lunch in peace and watch some sports. The deli on the side is great for your sub and to go meal needs. A hidden gem for those noght you don't want to cook.

Hands down most amazing meal!!! The salad was so fresh and satisfying. The crab dip was really great as was the cream of crab soup. I can't have gluten, even though soup may of had some but it was good. I got the fruit of the sea dish with the shrimp, crab meat, scallops and gluten free pasta. This dish is light, very flavorful, and fresh. The scallops and shrimp were hugh and there was a lot of crab meat. Jim was the best server and was just a joy. Will definitely be back to try crab cakes.

First time here with my 13yr old. It was great! I got the scampi I also loved the warm bread and homemade butter. It was a great atmosphere and our server was very attentive. A great experience to enjoy. Tiramisu was an awesome choice for dessert too.

Came here with my uncle Karl before I go back to California and really liked the place. Calamari appetizer was delicious. Also got the shrimp fettuccine which was rich and creamy. Manny our waiter was great as well and took care of us. Definitely would come back when I’m out here.

We were picking up a cousin at the airport during rush hour so we decided to have dinner at the Olive Grove rather than go home during rush hour traffic. The Olive Grove is an excellent Italian restaurant near the airport. We've eaten there before, but that was before I started writing reviews. We were seated right away, and our server came by promptly to get our drink orders. Then he came back with our drinks and took our dinner orders. I pretty much always order eggplant parm when I go to Italian restaurants, and that's what I ordered at the Olive Grove. Don't confuse the Olive Grove with the Olive Garden. Olive Garden is a chain and their eggplant parm isn't nearly as good as it is at the Olive Grove. The other great dish they have at the Olive Grove is crab cakes. The Olive Grove crab cake, we which my wife had was perfect. She let me taste her crab cake. It had plenty of lump crab meat, and it was cooked just right The Ambiance at the Olive Grove was excellent. Soon after we arrived, the dinner crowd showed up. The tables were mostly all filled with diners but the noise level was reasonable. I could hear my wife and our cousin, and I didn't even have my hearing aids in my ears. There's free parking outside the restaurant, and the parking lot and the restaurant are wheelchair accessible.

Ordered my food over the phone. I asked for salads with no onions for five entrees, and she no problem. She said thirty minutes and I waited forty minutes. Order came out within five to ten minutes I looked in the bag and is this five meals no only four so I waited while they fixed it. No problem. I asked for extra lemon butter sauce not there. When I get home all the salads have onions. No problem no salad dressing either so just the salads are trash. Plus they charged me for crab meat for crab cakes entree🤬. Happy Mother's Day

Met a friend here for lunch. We were seated right away. Our server was efficient and attentive. I ordered the Calamari Italiano appetizer and the Fruit of the Sea entree. After the appetizer, that huge salad and the breadsticks (I only ate 1), I had to take my entree to-go. I brought it home and it made 2 meals! Everything was delicious!!! The restaurant could use a little 'freshening up' as the leatherette on both benches of our booth was torn and leaking stuffing. The good news is, you don't go there for the seating...

A great restaurant with delicious crab cakes. They were flavorful. It had a great breading to crab ratio.

The food was great. I had the soup, salad, and bread sticks. My friend had the zita and salad. Corn nuggets are ALWAYS good. Service was fantastic. I know the crab cakes are the best, but did not have a big appetite at lunch. If you're in the Baltimore area, you need to stop by. Just not Monday, they are closed.

The food was outstanding. The staff was very professional and friendly. I had ordered their lasagna and it was the first time I’ve ever been at this restaurant and it was well done. I will definitely come back.

Everything we ordered was delicious absolutely perfect. But the best thing during our visit was our waitress. Her name is Shanae and she made us feel like we were home and she welcomed us to her table. We had crab balls that were excellent the soup of the day was a shrimp creole soup that I loved with both had an entrée that we packed to take home that was scrumptious. I highly recommend this place. Perfect dinner date.

Chicken picante and chicken masala probably my favorites here. But we usually come here when we're in the mood for a nice salad, they bring a great table salad with homemade Italian dressing that is excellent. You can buy a bottle to take home and I usually do. Stuffed flounder (pic) stuffed with crab was not excellent just okay not worth $33. My vegetarian wife enjoys their baked ziti but needs extra marinara. Her ravioli in the past has been bland. I also like that their waitstaff has very little turnover. A lot of people are see here year after year they care about their jobs.

I ordered the crabcake platter with fries. Nice size crabcake, but a little too creamy for me.

Typically the food here is amazing. But I had a mixed bag on my last visit. The chicken in my chicken parmigiana was very over done. We also had crab dip as an appetizer which was heavily seasoned and slightly burned cheese on top. Not very good. Aside from those, everything else was great as usual.

2 days before Christmas is when we visited. We were quickly and politely greeted and promptly seated. The restaurant was busy, and they were setting up for a large party (50 ish prople) and several parties of anywhere from 6-12 people. That being said, the staff was very friendly and courteous. Our server Louis was great! We never felt rushed or unwelcome. The food was superb! I had the broiled salmon, and the hubby had the broiled cajun flounder. Both cooked to perfection and served hot and in a timely manner. Did I mention the unlimited salad and breadsticks served with an entree? Yummmy! We had a great experience, and we urge others to visit!

I ordered chicken parm pasta and crab cake with mashed potatoes. I haven't eaten the crab cake yet. The chicken parm was bland but has good portions. I gave four stars because the waiter at the bar was nice, but the reception lady at the door was kinda gross . She was coughing as I walked threw the door. I wouldn't buy from here again

We are in town for a soccer tournament. We got here and checked in late but needed to eat. Olive Groove welcomed us close to close, treated us fantastic, and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed our server and the manager. My husband loved the fruit of the sea entree and I ate so much of the salad because the house dressing was fantastic that I put my alfredo in a box after 2 bites. 10 out of 10 thank you!

This is my wife's and my second visit to this restaurant we are so pleased the sausage is great you can never get good sausage anywhere, I've ordered it both times. Those portions are great we order two dinners and take half home for lunch the next day. You can't beat the service, the owners and staff are very friendly.

Great Crab cakes. Wish I had taken a picture but it wouldn't have done it justice. Top 3 in Md from where I sit. Relaxed atmosphere yet on the nicer side of relaxed. Salad and bread was pretty good too. Definitely recommend. My only negative was the server taking the tip before we left. Big pet peve of mine having been in the industry.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I loved the Italian salad and breadsticks, they remind me of the Olive Garden experience, but elevated and freshly made. For dessert, they offered a baklava cheesecake which was interesting and delicious.

Overall, the vibe was nice. We were staying at the Maritime center so this place was convenient. The menu had items for all taste. Those who ordered oysters and shrimp enjoy them very much. I appreciate it the appetizers. The cocktail drinks we're good too. They have a lively bar area and the desserts were delicious.

I was happy I had a chance to swing by there to pick up a carry out order. I haven't been there in over 20 years. Their food is still as it's ever been. J The staff there were AWESOME. I was not disappointed. I'm hoping I can get back over in the very near future. They haven't changed too much. They still have some of the best seafood and Italian food around the beltway! I will get back up to visit again hopefully sooner rather than later. I wish there was one on the Eastern. Keep up the good work to everyone working that day. They deserve some pats on the. I didn't catch and names but it was early. And if haven't had their homemade Salas dressing it is the absolute best and if you like like I do. Don't to grab one to take it home with you.

Service is perfection. Fried zucchini appetizer is fabulous. The cream of crab is made with frozen crab so the lumps are mushy. Unseasoned as well. Bummer on that but everything else is perfect. Oh. Don't order the tuna sandwich. It's identical to what you make at home.

I ordered off of door dash because I wanted to try something new. I am not impressed. I ordered spaghetti with mushrooms because I am a pasta fiend, it comes with a salad and two bread sticks. I feel like I am almost spoiled for Italian, because the tiny Pennsylvania town I live in has an Italian restaurant that everything is made from scratch. Bread, sauce, lasagna everyday, you name it. This place, clearly doesn't. The spaghetti was very watery, which suggests that the sauce was cold, and was put on steaming hot pasta. It was also really dark, which I don't know why, it's weird. I requested, "no cheese"..... I got cheese. The pasta was typical store bought perfectly round pasta. The salad had large chunks of yellow ice berg lettuce, rotten tomatoes, and browned leaves. To top it all off, I got some sort of creamy dressing. I can't confirm, but I think the bread sticks are restaurant supply as well. I feel like this is a neighborhood staple, it holds a lot of cherished memories for customers. As a new customer, I don't see it.

Great experience. My daughter and her family were moving to Germany and we went out to dinner beforehand......invited several family members to join in. We showed up - no reservations and within minutes they had a table set up for our group of 10. Wait staff was quick, courteous and attentive. The food was great - the crabcake - AMMMAZING - when most restaurants are cutting back on portion size and raising prices, they didn't on quantity, quality or price. I highly recommend Olive Grove.

I grew up on the Jersey shore and we serve some pretty great crabcakes too. Still, I've never had one as good as the one I had from Olive Grove. I asked a local friend for a recommendation and she suggested Olive Grove. We got the crab sandwich. I didn't eat the roll and picked at the fries. The crabcake was full of crab and not filler. It came with breadsticks and a salad. Outstanding!
