This is a great location in Brooklyn, MI, at the center of the Irish Hills Lake Country and about three (3) miles due north of the Michigan International Speedway. Callaghan's has all your classic coffee and espresso drinks along with a great assortment of baked goods and light sandwiches. You can buy baked goods from Bliss Bakery, which is a treat, since Bliss is typically a custom baking company. If you're on the run, there's a drive-through, but parking is easy. I recommend going and making some time to enjoy coffee inside with friends. If you need a quiet place to work for a bit, Callaghan's is a great place to have coffee and a sandwich and get some work done. When I'm spending a weekend in Irish Hills, this is where I'm at first thing in the morning.

Decided to stop for a coffee passing through and stopped here. I ordered a lavender and honey latte. Wow! I can't say enough about this place. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops, service was fast, and the drink was outstanding. All the options are available and this shop did something no other place does. I asked for the whipped cream option, which usually melts within seconds. Here they use a different type of topping that doesn't disappear into the hot drink. I have to say I am pleased and will visit again next time I pass through.

Excellent local coffee cafe! I ordered brown sugar oat milk latte, and my mate ordered iced chai latte. Mine was hot and delicious while my mate's was pretty good. We both had bagel breakfast sandwiches. The everything bagel and the Asiago bagels were yummy filled with bacon or sauage,egg, and great cheddar or American cheese. The service staff were friendly and fast with a steady stream of customers inside and at the drive-through. Seating was abundant and comfortable with both high and low tables and a comfy couch and chair. I definitely hope to go again when I'm in the area!

All around a great place! Quick service whether inside or drive through. I love coffee and don't know another coffee shop that has 32oz like they do! I've been having them make a lavender lotus & sending others for the same because they are just THAT good! The breakfast burritos are the best! I drive an hour in the wrong direction for them 😆

Callaghans is the best local coffee shop in the Irish hills. Menu is very affordable and everything I’ve had has been enjoyable! The service is always very pleasant! And the rewards program is an awesome feature if you frequent the area. The interior atmosphere is comfortable and vast allowing you to always find a clean seat for work or conversation!

Great coffee and food options (quick bites like breakfast sandwiches). It's clean and they give you a small discount for bringing your own mug or traveler.

I love that Brooklyn has a non-chain place to get coffee. Their food is tasty and they are quick to get it out. The atmosphere is great for catching up with friends. The flavored syrup menu is extensive... but I wish there were some house specialties. Not a drink of the week per se, but a couple drinks that they do really well, like a golden milk or matcha or something. I love that there are non-dairy options for milk. There is a Chai latte on the menu but it's made with syrup and just too sweet for me - I wish it was made with the actual spices. Definitely recommend this place over Tim Hortons or whatever other chains are around here. Super friendly staff and I love that they sell goods from other locals in their shop.

Comfortable homey atmosphere. Excellent latte. Excellent English Muffin sandwich. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the sausage breakfast burrito and iced peppermint mocha.

Must visit when in Brooklyn! Staff is friendly, they work hard, the atmosphere is great, and their products are incredible!

You’ll wait a ridiculous amount of time for them to make a single coffee. Forget it if you’re in the drive through

I moved to Michigan 2 years ago from Washington, where there was a great coffee stand with a 1 to 2 block radius of anywhere you drove, and this is the first coffee place I have found that actually had great coffee and service.. AND A DRIVRTHRU!!!!! The coffee was stellar at met my super bougee high Washington standards (no, Starbucks is not those standards). Thank you!!!! (Ordered a 20oz white mocha with vanilla, honey, and cinnamon, which is my favorite coffee from my favorite coffee stand, Wolfe Club in washington, who is rated as one of the top 20 coffee stands in the US. It doesn't compare to Wolfe club who makes their sauces in-house from scratch and roasts their own beans, but it's pretty damn close and it made me remember home a little which is what matters!).
