This was so much more of a blast than we thought it would be. Who knew there were so many bizarre plants?? And they're not behind glass! You're inches away from them and could even touch them (we didn't see signs forbidding it, but considering that hand sanitizer would damage the plants, better to wait on the touching until COVID blows over, I think). Verdict: Totally RECOMMEND.

The Climatron is definitely one place you don’t want to miss when you visit the Botanical Gardens! It is the closest we will ever get to visiting the Rain Forest! One big plus is there are no snakes or spiders in the Climatron. There are several waterfalls in the building too! We enjoyed looking at all the exotic trees and plants on our excursion into the wild! #summerbucketlist

A very enjoyable exhibit of fauna grown in tropical areas. The waterfalls were very enjoyable to MJ, a friend, and myself. This a part of a trip to the Missouri Botanical Garden.

Perfection! This is a warm and beautiful place where you could relax all day. Also, the gardens are so gorgeous and the entrance fee is minimal. My son loves the children's garden as well!

So so beautiful. We were passing throught Saint Louis and so glad we found the Missouri Botanical Gardens. The Climatron area was absolutely gorgeous. Although we understand they have precautions due to covid my husband got pretty dehydrated while at the Gardens because none of the water fountains were on. We wish we would have known ahead of time so we could have packed and brought tons of water bottles.

The Climatron was the first Geodesic styled greenhouse ever used in a botanical garden, and probably one of the first ever in existence; several decades later the dome stands proud, representing the gardens and St. Louis in a uniquely inspiring fashion. If you haven't adventured inside before, do yourself a favor and visit.

Outstanding geodesic bio dome! It has a pleasant walking path that takes you behind a water fall and makes you fell like you are in a tropical rainforest. Highly recommend if you are at the Botanical Gardens. Bring your camera as there will be plenty of scenic spots.

Seeing a Corpse Flower in bloom was a huge highlight! All the other plants were striking and beautiful as well. Lots of unique plants and flowers that I've never seen elsewhere.

My first visit to the Climatron and I loved it. Even though I didn't get to see the corpse flower, it was still worth the 2 hour drive. So many unique flowers to see.

My favorite part of the botanical gardens! So gorgeous, serious plant goals! Was super nice to see the full grown up version of many of my Houseplants, but in a "natural" environment

Wish more blooming flowers in winter and a bit of construction going on but still really fun. Wasn't packed at all. A bit expensive for what you get if there are no events going on.

What an enjoyable day at the farmers market and botanical gardens in St Louis. Happened upon a wine, spirits and crafts festival at the garden....well worth the $16 admission per adult. SO much to see here including wonderful children's sections. Highly recommend and allow time to fully enjoy these beautiful and well executed gardens

Very unique to pop in and see what's growing in here. Please be careful if you're inside here during a nighttime event because it doesn't get lit well enough and we had to help a senior woman who'd fallen over in here and couldn't get up.
