Excellent in every respect! We are launching at the nearby Brooklyn Hotel, and this will be our hang for as long as we stay in the neighborhood!!

Cute coffee shop with peaceful secluded back patio area. Note: no wifi here! But the latte and the space are wonderful

What a delightful little spot! The staff is warm and kind and the prices are reasonable. The food is DELICIOUS and such cute presentation and attention to detail. Feels very gourmet. The eggs were cooked to PERFECTION. Light & fluffy, soft, folded like a warm blanket with crisp bacon and the most gooey globs of tasty cheese oozing out of the sides of a delicious bun. The aioli sauce was also very yum! And the avocado toast... bread was perfectly toasted with a nice, thick, hearty consistency. Topped with Greek yogurt, masked avocado, a bit of salmon, scallions & dill. So satisfying!!!! Highly recommend coming here for delicious food and a quiet moment in a busy city that will put a smile on your face and in your belly.

update: glad to see it’s open again. tl;dr: great espresso drinks but sadly currently closed till further notice (see photo) more: nice space to work (indoor space for 18) and amazing oat cappuccino (small $6.50 w/ tax - a drink + food would come up to ~$20)

Cute spot with great friendly service. I only got a coffee so I don’t have much to say about the food. They have plants for sale, which also looks nice within the cafe. I had thought there might be some distanced seating but there wasn’t. More of a grab and go spot when I went.

Awesome spot. We had the avocado toast, egg sandwich with bacon and grilled cheese. All the food was freshly cooked and awesome. Staff was super friendly. Chai and Americano were great too. They don’t have decaf beans though. Highly recommend!

I ordered a sandwich with avocado and bacon. Nothing special. There are better places in the area for breakfast.

Lovely little space with delicious and affordable coffee! Didn’t try the food but the menu looked great and smelled amazing (will say that I left the shop smelling like food, haha)

Great coffee, decent food, but don’t order the Nova Lox Croissant. It came with the tiniest lump of lox, the croissant was stale, and I’m not sure why the croissant is cut this way instead of length-wise so you can assemble it into a sandwich. I usually don’t leave reviews when I’m underwhelmed because I feel bad, but I just don’t see this being worth the money. I ordered this a couple of months ago & thought the final product was a one off, but ordered today & it was the same.

Furmans Coffee in Brooklyn is a hidden gem that I couldn't resist driving from NJ to experience, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff to match. The coffee was exceptional, boasting a rich and robust flavor that left me craving more. Their baked goods were equally delightful, making it a perfect pairing for my morning coffee. Overall, Furmans Coffee is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts, and the journey from NJ was absolutely worth it.

Hands down the best mocha in all of Bedstuy. Same goes with their bacon egg and cheese! You can tell how much quality Furmans puts into their ingredient selection. Mocha wise, where everyone else uses syrups, Furmans knows to use 100% cocoa powder for better results. Next time you need a coffee or something to eat, grab it here!

wish I could leave zero stars since I was the denied service due to my service animal. I tried explaining that she was a working dog and that it's required for them to accommodate me but they refused to serve me, quite rudely in fact apparently. I'm making an ADA complaint since when I tried to call the number on their Facebook page no one picked up, absolutely terrible service.

The pictures don't do justice, you have to go in yourself to experience this place, I was so surprised to know this place was up the block to where I lived all this time. This is one of few places in this area that once you walk in it's like if you're in another area completely. The atmosphere changes between the plants by the door entrance to the painting in the wall and the most comfortable setting I've ever seen in a Brooklyn business. You can order your food or healthy drink and sit read a book from the small collection they have to maybe enjoying the place itself. It was my first time there and I 😍 it. Thanks 🙏 to my son, it's a little pricey but it's worth the trip here. Ya should check it out Definitely my favorite place to go to now 👍👍👍

I wanted some coffee on my way to a rehearsal. I really liked the latte I got here. The coffee tasted really good with no bitterness whatsoever. The temperature was perfect: not too hot & not too cold. The baristers were both very friendly. I stayed & had a seat in a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

Get the breakfast sandwiches! Sooooo good! The bread is so light and fluffy, but fills you right up. And the coffee is great too.

Cute quality coffee shop just off Atlantic and Nostrand. Quiet interior even with two busy streets close by. The staff are nice and conversational. You can either lounge of the couch or sit at the window+table to get some work done. WiFi compliments of the LinkNYC just outside the door so no worries about it going out.
