Cafe Coffee shop

👍👍 Incredible find. I was on my way home and in tons of traffic due to the Brooklyn Half Marathon, and while in bumper-to-bumper traffic, I saw to the left of me a bunch of little tables and everyone sitting with coffee in hand. The door opens and closes, people going in and out of this coffee spot. I... People often mention coffee, good, great, staff, love, spot, iced, nice, drink, chai,

Incredible find. I was on my way home and in tons of traffic due to the Brooklyn Half Marathon, and while in bumper-to-bumper traffic, I saw to the left of me a bunch of little tables and everyone sitting with coffee in hand. The door opens and closes, people going in and out of this coffee spot. I said wow, it has to be good if I see every seat from the outside of the business and look at people sitting and chatting on high stools by the window on the inside. I pulled up to blocks, parked, and walked back to check out this spot, and boy, what a cute cozy, artsy find. I love this spot. The wall decor is beautiful. The place looks very clean. I tried the Chagaccino iced, and WOW, it’s soooo good. I chose oats milk. It was perfect. I didn’t have to add sugar. It was already perfectly sweetened. Not too much, not too little, it was the BOOM! 💥 The woman who took my order was sweet. Also, get this, you get a punch card, and after several drinks are bought, you get a free one. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this spot to meet up with a friend, on a date, or just to read a book. It wasn’t overly loud. It was great. Check out the pics🤍

I like the coffee and my husband likes how they made his coffee too. The place is small but still nice

I love this place. Its Black owned & operated. It’s in my neighborhood. The staff make you feel like you’re neighbors. The ambiance is rustic, modern and earthy. I love how they also support other local businesses. My go-to is the iced matcha late with whip. But I definitely recommend their charcoal iced or hot late. Thank me Later!

They have oretty unique coffees. And the barista is cute/cozy aswell. The crew is very patient tho they are pretty busy. I had tried the onyx coffee, looks like charcoal coffee, tastes good.

Went to support a neighborhood black-owned coffee shop. The space is nice, modern and well maintained. The staff was welcoming initially, but the guy who took our order was short and rushed us. I ordered the London Fog which is my usual morning drink. I’m used to 2 bags of earl gray but they only used 1, so it didn’t have the kick of caffeine that I was looking for, but it did taste good. My friends had the chai tea latte iced and matcha tea latte hot, which they both enjoyed. The price was reasonable. I’d probably give the shop another try, but have had stronger tea elsewhere.

Great Black Owned Coffee Shop! ☕️ I love stopping in here when I’m walking in that area of Flatbush. They have a great vibe in the store and the staff is nice. The prices were pretty good too. I love that they had some awesome stickers to add to my thermos. There’s also a nice selection of baked goods. It’s a great space between some great shops to grab a drink, sit down, and recharge. Definitely worth popping in!

Excellent coffee, kind staff, friendly atmosphere. This is the best local spot around :) try the chai and onyx lattes and the breakfast tacos.

Best selection of drinks iced and hot. A variety of coffee blends. Everything done to perfection. Also have a great staff and very nice and polite guests. Vegan pastries available. Can't wait for Co-vid to be over so I can sit in and enjoy a drink and a chat. If your unhappy with your current coffee try this place.

Cool shop to check out. Fair prices, and the employees there are FANTASTIC! Always make me feel so at home; especially the gentleman. The cold brew I had was watered down a little too much, something that can be fixed with tasting it at the beginning of the day. They have a good selection of flavored lattes. Their matcha latte is delicious!

I love the coffee here and all the staff are I credibly sweet and helpful, even when the place is busy. Not a fan of the breakfast “tacos,” they are wrapped in a bread thing instead of a tortilla. I also come here to study quite often and I would frequent the place more if they had a working toilet. EDIT: After a nice response from the owner, I am updating to four stars because I really do love their coffee and landlords can be annoying about fixing things. I hope they work it out soon!

Stopped in after a busy day, hot, tired, and in need of caffeine; I asked if they had iced chai and was told they did, but what I was given was a cup of ice and milk with a little bit of *chai flavored syrup* in the bottom, not even chai concentrate, literal flavor syrup, which even after it was mixed in thoroughly and a little more added barely tasted like chai and certainly didn't have the much needed caffeine component... Horrible. To add insult to injury, two of these milk based drinks which were most definitely NOT CHAI set me back $13. They need to be clear about what they're serving, and at least get a better facsimile of chai (I've worked as a barista various times since the '80s and had my own successful tea and coffee business, so I am speaking as a seasoned professional)

Good lattes (including decaf) and fun variety of signature drink flavors. The ambience is calm and peaceful. Love the light music in the background. Pastries can be hit or miss; I enjoy the almond lemon loaf. I appreciate that for the most part staff makes drinks correctly and add exactly how much sweetener I request (not more, not less). Once in a while, there is once staff member who seems distracted talking to his friend (which is totally fine), but ends up making a drink wrong then (ie. Adding way more syrup than I asked for or giving me the wrong size drink). Overall, my experience has been good.

Brooklyn Perks Coffee Shop offers a delightful blend of cozy ambiance and rich, aromatic coffees. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or seeking a relaxing spot to work, this place has it all. Highly recommended for a comforting coffee experience in Brooklyn.

Glad I tried Brooklyn Perk. This is not my normal coffee establishment in Flatbush, but I love trying new little coffee spots. They have a large outdoor seating area located out front on their sidewalk. It's a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee/pastry and do some work on your laptop. A good menu selection!! I'm giving this review 4 stars because I don't like the espresso they use. I didn't get the name of the company, but the espresso was so bitter it was almost sour. Also giving 4 stars because my coffee date loved their iced coffee. I can't say this will be my new normal, but it's a great alternative to my regular spot!

The place is really great and calm! Love the vibes and the items I order. I usually grab an iced chai latte and also their everything croissant, both which tastes great! The people that work their are super friendly and the music is nice and chill. Great place to grab a book to read or grab a coffee/tea with a friend!

Great place overall with a very friendly staff. The coffee is just amazing even though I just got caramel coffee it was very smooth and very tasty.

Have been to the Parkside location a few times and love their pastries! Nice, warm and clean environment but sometimes a bit difficult to work from there, especially when I have calls. The music tends to be too loud so I really only go when I don't have any calls (minus 1 star). I would order a Matcha Latte when i would go, but after 2 or 3 orders they just could not get it right. It's super grainy and tastes chalky - there was so much matcha powder left at the bottom of my cup which means they did not take the time to stir in the matcha carefully (minus 1 star). I switched to their Chai lattes which are delicious! Overall a solid 3 and good place to go in the neighborhood for pastries and a change of scenery. A bit pricey for my two items each time I go, but the service is good and their staff are always very friendly.

Wonderful neighborhood cafe, super cute on the inside with lots of plants. Really lovely staff, they are always so sweet and open. Decent coffee and lots of zany flavor options I haven’t tried but others seem to enjoy (think red velvet or onyx lattes). Excellent pastry selection too. Overall great vibes

Great neighborhood spot with tasty drinks. My only suggestion is there should not be dogs, let alone very large dogs, inside of a place serving food and drinks. The shop is very narrow and on numerous occasions, there have been multiple dogs in the shop. I love dogs and grew up with a German Shepherd, but I do not want to smell them or hear them barking at each other inside when I am eating and drinking. Perhaps a spot to tie up dogs outside while owners grab their drinks could be a solution, but the current situation is not acceptable.

Delicious coffee and pastries in Brooklyn- they’re popular in the late mornings when I’ve been going but the service is so fast and friendly! The baristas remember you and are quick with your orders. Also, dog friendly, big plus :)

Beautiful spot with gorgeous wood tables, thriving plants (a green flag anywhere), delicious lattes (lavender available <3), friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere. Cool spot very close to the park! Vax checked for hanging inside. Fabulous all-around.

Dropped by here after a walk in prospect park. There was not a line and my drink was made to perfection in no time. I got an iced latte with vanilla and oat milk. It was deliciously smooth! It’s also black owned!

Best lattes in NYC 💯 I’ve had probably thousands of lattes over the last 16 years or so and these are consistently the best. The milk is steamed to perfection - not foamy on top and liquidy the rest but smooth velvet steamed milk down to the bottom. Additionally the temperature is always perfect and ready to drink as soon as they hand it to you - you don’t have to wait 20 minutes for it to cool down then all the foam separates ! And on top of that it’s a very reasonable price $
