DO NOT COME TO TICKETED EVENTS!!! I wish I could give them more stars but this is the second time they played people who bought tickets for an event. I paid for their 5th anniversary event at (what used to be) output/74 Whythe and couldn’t get in because they greedily oversold tickets and it was at max capacity. No chance of being a refund because their accountability and customer service is horrible. You were warned… UPDATE, 2/28/22: Thanks for the response, but I don't see a way to request a refund via eventbrite when the ticket says non-refundable.

Cafe Erzulie is a great Hatian cafe and restaurant hidden behind a flower store. Fantastic place to work for hours with free WiFi and plenty of seats. Some great unique options for breakfast/brunch food. Only 6 seats on the bench have outlets - not that easy to get to either so don’t count on having access to one. They have a beautiful backyard as well which is large and very sunny, full of trees and another 15 seats. Overall a quiet spot to frequent that’s good to work, grab coffee and some small food. Love this place!

Their Afrobeat night is TRASH! A waste of money, DJ Tunes doesn't even show up, the MC won't shut up and let you hear the music, and to add insult to injury they barely play any afrobeats. And all this after they make you pay steep cover for "Afrobeats night". Such a rip off. Do not go here.

Supposedly, this is the spot to be at, especially if you don't know where to go. There is a long line but it was fun upon getting in. I will the DJ we had the night at went did not let the right tracks breathe. Overall it's a fun time

Devocion coffee beans and careful attention to brewing makes this coffee worth stopping by time and time again. The space is wonderful with plants up front, tiled cafe and then outside sunlight drenched patio. People do yoga on some days and they turn the AC off. The hip young staff will sometimes simply forget your order and act like nothing is wrong when you go up and ask about it. Annoying but that’s what you get with hip places like this.

NOTE: I say this with the upmost respect and care for black owned businesses but… This target audience for this spot is definitely NYC transplants and non-👩🏾‍🦱 people 😭. As a Haitian born and raised in East Flatbush… I thought the appetizers were pretty gentrified and overpriced… but the djon djon bowl was bomb!! (just hate that i wasted $30 on apps before ordering it). Also I came on jazz night and it quite literally started an hour and 15 minutes late which I hated bc it was a weeknight. (And there was automatic 18% gratuity which I didn’t expect but i guess it’s okay 😭 service workers deserve all the tips!!) The music and ambiance were very nice but if you’re looking for a more authentic Haitian lounge go to something in Crown Heights or Flatbush.

I've been here since 11:15 pm and the line is not moving and it is currently 11:58pm If there's a problem with security, I think that the folks should have alerted those on the lines waiting in the cold. The lack of communication takes away from the overall experience: in addition to the predatory cost of slowing down the line for entry. Lastly people skipped only because they knew the bouncer. Unprofessional.

I need to go back for a redo for the music, yet the atmosphere was really nice. I enjoy that even with the walls we we’re technically outside and could look up at the sky from the back seating. It was a great view, and a few people were indulging in cannabis, which was also cool and inviting. I met a few people whilst here, and the wine is tasty yet kinda overpriced compared to nearby spots. I did not enjoy the food, yet I’m rather picky so it’s usually a hit or miss on that front. I’d go back for the ambience and people. I hope they get the live music together and organized because this place has real potential.

This artistic taste of Haiti was referred to me by a friend who happens to be the cousin of the owner. THIS PLACE IS SO AWESOME!!! The audience and staff are such cool people. Definite recommend! 🎊🎶

This Cafe, venue is sort of hidden but its really cool. It was a one year anniversary for a tech startup @FloreoLabs and the crowd was fun and smart into tech and culture.

Jan2023: It was a nice vibe and lighting they expanded the back of the venue so its popping and great music this night, DJ was getting all the hits down. Very welcoming vibes everywhere and speakers aren't too loud for conversation(s)/talking to people at bar.

Always a vibe! Great musicians and DJs plus the food is also tasty. Drinks could stand to be a little bit cheaper.

Great date night spot. Good mix of queer and non-queer folks. The food is Yummy and the drinks are strong. Go to hear Jazz or hip-hop. Visiting at night but also take yourself there in the day for the open air seating.

cute place, but food gave me a stomachache. Not sure why it is so overpriced given its not anything special. usually their musicians are pretty good but heard that erzulie robs them of their tips…such a shame!

I love this spot, I visited 2 nights back 2back, great vibes there, food , cocktails are where it's at. I'd definitely recommend this place . And love the fact the name of their dishes n drinks are in kreyol, and " Erzulie" great name for an establishment. It is saved as one of my hangouts for whenever I visit BK again.

I usually like this place but I came with a friend for her birthday. We paid for a section and bottle service. The bouncer wouldn’t let us in for 30 min and we never got the bottles! Horrible service, don’t waste your money.

Came by to check this place out while I was in town and I will be back sooner rather than later! The food was incredible, the band on Thursday nights was EVERYTHING and the bartender in the black hat and green sweater took such good care of me, gave me the best rundown about my drink and had such wonderful energy. Such an incredible place you have built-I felt Erzulie in every moment! <3

This place scams you of your money. I paid a cover and they told me they were open two hours later than when I walked in. We were inside for 2 minutes before they realized they messed up with the times. So I tried to leave asking for my cover back since they were closing and admitted “their security messed up” and wouldn’t give me any money back. Their whole door and security team is trash. I’ve been here a couples times and they’re consistently over charging people and lying to customers. Never coming back here again. Absolutely disgusted by this place

Nightlife is up in there... Beautiful people, good music, good drinks... Only thing I would say needs improved is they need another bathroom.. I will be back!

good drinks. went twice. first was on a sunday and it was cool vibe for sure.second was on a saturday for a ticketed event and it was uncomfortably overcrowded. dj never shuts up. I also found the door and bar staff to be rude.

It goes up. Good music. Lovely crowd and cool bartender. Go on the weekend for some hip-hop affection.

Don't let the often sketchy characters outside and modest entrance deter you; you'll find a spacious oasis with delicious Haitian inspired dishes and wonderful live performances inside.

Cool neighborhood spot more of a club vibe at night. If you're not tryna get too dressed up and dance and have a good time this is a perfect spot. Drinks are strong af. I had 2 between 11 and 330 am

Went to a 420 comedy show at this location. The spot is cute. There are doors that can separate the bar from another "party" area. Had one drink and I'm not sure if I tasted the liquor or not. So that means it was either weak or my tolerance has changed. The area is always busy. Can't speak on the bathroom or the food served. My 3 stars for food was actually for the drink. Street parking... Good luck They had overhead heaters. This looks like a decent spot to host a gathering.

Great service, good (but not great) coffee, they were closing early for an event, so I didn't have time to get anything else. The back patio looks beautiful and the décor is nice, although it feels like they could have gone an extra step to make the space truly something (as is it feels a little rushed)

This review is solely based on my experience visiting Cafe Erzulie after hours for cocktails and music. I would love to visit the venue again during the day to check out the cafe-- I've heard amazing reviews. The concept for the space is dope! The venue is a cafe, local flower shop, event space/ bar in the evening. I went on a Friday night and the DJ was dope, while the crowd was a little on the younger side ( mid to late twenties)my friends and I had a great time. The Dj was dope and the cocktails were good. I don't recall the name of the drink we ordered but it was made with homemade sorrel. I would recommend Cafe Erzulie for a night out with friends. Grab a great cocktail and chill! Thank me later.

Went to check it out on a Sunday morning when they said they were open at 8, showed up a few minutes early so I waited. Then waited a few minutes past 8. Then someone came to the door to tell me the cook/barista wasn't there yet, that it might be another half hour. I asked if I could come wait inside and they agreed which I appreciated. The whole reason I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 1! But it's 9am now and no one has come in yet. Very disappointed because it's very cute in here. Hopeful to come back when they can actually serve me!

Nice little spot for breakfast or lunch. Almost like a speakeasy joint hidden by a flower shop located in Brooklyn off the J train. Very limited selection on the menu but that's what makes it unique. Outdoor seating is big and nice. Their pork breakfast sandwich is very light and tasty as well as the griot pork sandwich.

Amazing space, always packed - I was either waiting in line for a drink or waiting in line for the bathroom but at least i was dancing the whole time🤣 vibes on point and the drinks are strong.

Great Friday vibe! Sherry is my favorite bartender right now! Lovely decor and a surprisingly spacious venue. Absolutely worth the wait.

Good concept of a Caribbean house/backyard and hosts some of the best events the city has to offer.
