I
have
never
given
a
negative
review
to
any
Park
Slope
business.
This
is
a
first.
The
reviews
so
far
before
this
one seems
to includes various
staff
members/friends.
As an
actual customer
that
attended
the
7PM
Charenee
Wade
Trio
on
Sunday
October
27th,
my
experience
will
NOT
lead
me
back
to
Made
in
NY
Jazz
Cafe.
The
waiter
and
the
musical
performance were excellent.
The
management's service
wasÂ
completely
opposite.
Going
by
the
pattern
of
their
ticket
reservation
system, a
$20
ticket
comes
with
wine,
$15
comes
with
a
draft
beer, and $10
doesn't
include
anything,
depending
on
the
show.
I
had
bought 3
tickets
for
a
$15
show for
my
girlfriend,
her
sister
and
myself
about
a
week
before
the
show
date.
1)
The
manager
had
no
idea
that
the
$15
ticket
included
a
draft
beer as
clearly
stated
on
the
venue
website
for
that
show.
He
had
asked
me
to
show
him
where
it
says
so.
In
doing
so,
he
took
out
his
phone
to
check.
Apparently,
he
had
no
idea
how
to
navigate
Made
in
NY's
website.
As
I
helped
him
navigate
to
the
tickets
reservation
for
the
correct
show,
he
asked,
"Is
this
what's
playing tonight?"
2)
My
girlfriend
and
her
sister
had
selected
their
beers.
They
honored
the
deal
after
my
help
of
navigating
their
website
for
them.
I
asked
if
I
can
get
a
soda
in
replacement
of
the
beer because
I
do
not
drink
alcohol.
The
manager
said
he'll
check but never
returned
with
an
answer.
By
requesting
a
soda
instead
of
beer,
IÂ would
be saving
Made

money.
Apparently,
that
was
a
difficult
concept
to
figure
out.
So
I
got
a
beer
anyway
and
gave
it
away. However,
it
is
really
sad
to
see
a
venue
not
willing
(or
not
caring)
to
accommodate
customers
who
do
not
drink,
especially
when
the
cost
of
a
draft
beer
is
$8
while
a
Coke
is
$3.50.
3)
The
table
next
to
us
also
had
issues
in
relation
to
their
bill.
According
to
them,
the
lady
at
the
front
promised
to
waive
the
cover
charge
and
yet
they
were
still
charged
it.
Before
any
of
this
happened,
we
had
all
looked
at
the
menu
and
decided
on
several
food
items
to
order.
But
due
to
all
this,
we
decided
to only
order
one
food
item
and
then eat dinner elsewhere
rather
than
give
any
more
business
than we
already
did.
For
a
business
that
just
opened
up,
they
are
deceptive
and
disorganized.
I
enjoy
showing
my
friends
around
Park
Slope and
this
was
a
place
I
thought
I
could repeatedly
take
them
too. After
this
experience
though, I
would
never
subject
them
to
this
type
of
service.
I
take
a
lot
of
pride
in
supporting
businesses
in
Park
Slope,
but
I
find
this place to
be
an
embarrassment.
