THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR!! I want to start off by saying I am a die hard meat lover and couldn't tell that I was eating vegan food at all, that's how amazing this food was. The empanadas are beyond delicious! I was surprisingly shocked by how tasty they were. They're big, crunchy and the salsa is so good, fresh and tasted great. The lasagna was really great too and the garlic bread was on point! Who real thinks about highlighting the garlic bread unless it was almost the star of the show. If I would have been blind folded I really wouldn't have known that the place was vegan at all, I mean everything had such great flavor. The staff was really nice too. Lots of knowledge about the dishes and how they're made. One of the owners spoke to us about the 1st Thursday night comedy show they have, which we have to come to as well. He was super cool. I'll totally be coming back with more and more people! Next time it'll be for brunch.

Was walking by and got two empanadas to go. Loved the Colombia potato one, but the jerk “chicken” was toooo spicy! The skin on the empanadas so were crispy, and potatoes were seasoned perfectly. It’s a small to medium sized empanada so you’ll prob want to get two for a snack

I’ve been here several times, but not in the last 3 years. I was horrified by the service. We had a choice to use the kiosk or order from waiter, but this waiter with a long pony tail came to our table and reeked of cigarettes and seemed drunk or high because he messed up the order and asked 2-3 times for us to repeat what we wanted and just seemed OFF! and then had the audacity to watch us tip him. I’ve never been more happy to leave a place. I would have happily paid the $10 service fee to keep this guy away from our table. I spoke great things of this place and brought my friend because I thought she would enjoy but the service ruined the whole experience! NEVER going back!

First time ordering. Food was packed well, and had the perfect temperature. The empanadas was full of flavor in each bite, very tasty and flavorful. The vegan Philly steak sandwich was filling and tasty. The vegan drumsticks were dry and didn't have much taste to it. I didn't particularly like the texture of it. I didn't enjoy the salad. I don't like ice very lettuce, even if it's mixed with kale. I ate the avocado though. Overall I'll give this order 7 out of 10. I would order again and try other menu items. I would order the empanadas again.

Food is good, we had the aprtiser plate with a mix of everything, and a nacos entre. It was well enough for two persons. Service is quick, and a bit layed back. Atmosphere wise it feels like a fast food place.

Nice decor and aesthetics. The staff was cool, they don’t really interact with the customer outside of seating. All ordering is done online via your phone by scanning a barcode. The food was tasty. I really enjoyed the complimentary nachos, the salsa was very fresh and flavorful. I had the spinach burrito which was freshly prepared, good blend of flavors, decent size and not one bit soggy. The prices are kind of high and no substitutions are allowed which made it difficult to build the idea meal.

$18 gluten-free quesadilla ordered using the in-store kiosk. I love that ordering via kiosk is an option. The product pricing seemed high relative to what I received.

This is by far my favorite place to eat in Brooklyn. Today was the first time i have gotten upset.. I ordered my food and waited in the seating area for 35 min( i thought i was gonna have a peaceful lunch and then had to go ask about my food, when i saw(WILFRED)LEAVING TO GO HOME & MY FOOD WAS SITTING ON THE PICK UP RACK WAITING AND COLD. SO I JUST GRABBED IT AND LEFT.. Also i DONT think its NECESSARY FOR THEM TO CHARGE US A EXTRA 20% OR 20$ JUST TO DINE IN MAINLY IN THIS HEAT WHEN THE INSIDE BE EMPTY

Decent food. Looks better than it tastes. Half the food on my plate lacked salt. I probably wouldn't go back for anything but the triple chocolate fuged brownies. Thats the only reason they get a five-star rather than four. It's served warm. Hot sause it realllllllly hot. If you try it, you better really be about that life.

I love this place! Such a great food. When I want mexican style vegan food, this is where I often go. Their food is delicious, comforting, the service is also good.

This is the very first latin plant-based restaurant I find in my area. I’m happy I found it. I ordered the Sweet Plantain Maduro Supreme and it was a massive hit of Spanish flavors. The dish was smaller than I expected but the dish did not disappoint in flavor. I also enjoyed their guacamole and the chips served are great quality. Consider me a regular here.

We organized presentations for a small conference recently and had VSPOT during two of the days. Not only was the food delicious but it felt nutritious and healthy. We had long days all weekend long with workshops and actions, the food provided gave us great fuel. The empanadas and pasta were a favorite of our 60-65 ish people. Danny was also very nice. We highly recommend!

The food, IMPECCABLE! The service, INCREDIBLE! We were lucky enough to be served by Nelson who was extremely attentive and personable. I just inhaled the nachos that I took home. The flavors were truly indescribable. We also had the Philly cheesesteak mushroom empanada and it mimicked a real Philly so well without the need for imitation meat. Needless to say, I am very pleased and as Nelson promised us, we will CERTAINLY be back! (I wish I would’ve taken pictures.)

Food is dope and the staff are wonderful! The empanada deal is where it's at! Try them all. My favorite item definitely was the Chicharron Tacos!

The food, service and atmosphere were incredible. 10-15 min walking distance from the Brooklyn museum. I went in and it was so convenient to order, i just scanned the qr code from the table and I placed the order. It came quick and the host was great. The food was incredible, the empanadas with the pink sauce was everything. Great ambience also, great experience all the way around... and affordable 🤑

Just finished dinner here with a party of 10 and every single plate is empty. I’m always hesitant going to vegan restaurants but this place is next level delicious. GET THE AVOCADO FRIES. GET THE SPICY KALE TACOS. So many awesome healthy menu items. Steve was waiting on our party. Looked like he was working solo, but he was super nice and patient with us. Will definitely be back.

Very consistent, quality, vegan food. My family and I have dined here for years and have never been disappointed. Nelson and Steve have always been very attentive and accommodating . We really appreciate the option to order via QR code, which is super convenient VSpot is one restaurant we can always count on in our area. Highly recommended.

While waiting for my food, I overheard a conversation between the health inspector and some guy who seemed like maybe the owner. The health inspector was saying that their refrigerator wasn't cold and needed to be fixed ASAP, and the guy was trying to explain how that was actually fine somehow? Now I'll take some liberties with food safety in my own home, but this guy sounded like an absolute clown trying to weasel his way out fixing the restaurant's fridge. It makes me wonder what other less-visible shortcuts he's taking, and I would have eaten somewhere else if I hadn't already paid for takeout.

So, I've been to this place several times since it opened. As a proud Nuyorican, I was ecstatic to find vegan options & wanted to support the business. The food was solid, years ago. However, I ordered takeout months back and it was underwhelming. I was in the neighborhood this week, about 2 hours before the restaurant closed. I walked in to an empty restaurant, which looked and smelled like no one ate there in weeks. I encountered (the same long haired man mentioned in previous recent reviews) an employee who seemed distraught. I asked to sit down, he asked "what I wanted" I replied a menu. He told me to scan the QR code. I knew this would be disastrous, but I decided to give it a shot. However, while about to take my seat, I was greeted by a small rat running across the back area before the bar. I said I was good, walked out, and went to the Columbian restaurant across the street that had a solid vegan meal. I havent tried their other locations, but I fear the V Spot in Brooklyn is officially dead. I would not recommend eating here.

These are my favorite vegan nachos that I’ve had anywhere! Also like the breakfast burrito. I’ve also tried the cauliflower burrito and think it’s ok. Overall, love that everything is vegan/vegetarian and delicious.

I visited this place about a week ago, I hope things have changed since then. The food and atmosphere were fine for a brunch spot in Brooklyn. Tasty, but not mind-blowing. Guacamole was pretty great though. The portions were also perfect for my boyfriend and I. It was the bartender on shift that day that really turned me and my boyfriend off though. He greeted us and sat us just fine, but as we ate it became apparent that he was on some sort of drug, my guess was either heroin or meth. He was moaning and talking to himself off to the side and moving constantly and being very disruptive as we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered two cocktails which we never received for obvious reasons. After about 35 minutes, I got a hold of a cook who did not speak English, but tried to help as much as he could, shout out to him. He told us someone was coming in to help shortly. I didn't get his name when he came in, but I'm guessing he was the manager. He silently sent the bartender to the back and proceeded to ask if we wanted the drinks or a refund for the drinks. Honestly both would have been nice, but I didn't ask. He was nice enough to apologize and get us a refund thankfully. We took our leftovers and got drinks elsewhere.

They're the best here, they really make you feel welcomed as if to their home. All the food has good texture, is packed with flavor and filling. My friend and I did not like the mixed drinks, too sweet and too many additives. I think they should do some simple brunch drinks, like offer a pitcher of mimosa or Bellini and stick to natural flavoring, but I'm not actually sure they're open that early.

Sadly second time here in a year- and won’t be returning . I love the food and supporting small vegan businesses and gave it the benefit of the doubt this 2nd time - but almost an entire year later and the same overworked really bad customer service . I ordered my drink the second I walked in . Bartender said “ok on it” 10 minutes later I reminded him about my drink- he started to make it . It sat in the shaker at least 5 more minutes because he walked away to do something else . I reminded him about my drink sitting in front of me in a shaker - he said “oh yeah ok!” And then proceeded to serve me a margarita in a glass that is not what margaritas are served in and it really didn’t taste like a margarita … I don’t blame the bartender /waiter/cashier because it’s ONE person super frazzled doing at least 3 peoples jobs . I have never had a problem with vspot on Saint marks - it’s just this one . I’m really not sure how so many people still go- I hope they can improve otherwise they need to consider a complete revamp to improve customer service /shut down for a bit or close and focus on their other locations.

The food was pretty good. I originally came here for a solo early celebration of my birthday and it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. The waiter was super nice and helpful but it was a bit of a thought process just to figure what I wanted to eat since they didn't have the Korean BBQ califower wings which is what I actually came there for. I honestly felt like it gave them their own uniqueness. I feel like it was good overall but not great. Not a full gluten free menu, the list is kinda limited. I think the food is ok but not necessarily for the price. If you're not gluten free it could probably be a different experience for you because you have a full menu.

4 stars b/c it seemed like the food was premade instead of being made to order. The Nacho’s are absolutely amazing! I will be back for more… & the service was A++ very nice staff. The atmosphere has changed …missing the original vibe… other than that I enjoyed myself.

Overall it was a good experience. The Oreo shake was superb. Chips provided were wonderfully crisp although the salsa was a bit too vinegary. Main dishes were filling and tasty. My gripe is the 10% surcharge (added before tax...) that left a really bad taste--we're post COVID but the sneaky charges persist. I didn't bother asking why because it was enough to deter me from going back. Plenty of other vegan spots that need support!

Absolutely loved this place! I was here a few years ago because I had heard it was a Colombian Vegan place which is basically unheard of. The first time I was here, the food and service was great. I was there again this weekend and the food was incredible, prices were fair and the service was excellent. Will definitely be back soon!

I'm a big lemonade lover so the homemade lemonade was awesome and the margarita as well! For food I had the Nacho supreme starter (I regret not getting the carne molida as well) which was incredible! Some of the softest yet still firm and best nachos I've ever had. The chick'n parm was so delicious and all the food was extremely filling! Worth checking out if you are in the area!

This is my 2nd time back to Park Slope Brooklyn and I definitely wanted to try the first Vegan Latin American Restaurant around this area. Besides my drink, my Carne Molida Burrito did not disappoint and the order came out in 5 minutes. Quick service and the Server was very Nice and Attentive. I highly recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans.

Very good vegan food! I especially like the crispy chicken burrito. I also love the side of rice and beans. The garlicky kale burrito is also good if you need more greens in your meal. I do miss the chicken parm sandwich. That was my favorite thing but alas it’s no more. The gluten free nachos are one of the best. You do have to eat it right away as it tends to get soggy fast but the non gluten version is a definite miss! Food is always quick too. I have not had the empanadas in a couple years but I remember enjoying them.

I go here too often! The food is so good!! I bring my non-vegan friends here to show them just what they’re missing! And their carrot cake is INCREDIBLE!! I have brought friends here and not told them it was vegan..they had no idea. Its just such amazing authentic food!

The food and ambience was okay… it was too simple and lots of grease and oily which makes it hard to enjoy food… nice affordable menu with lots of variety and staff is good… the service was fast too

  • 1/5 Christine F. 2 years ago on Google
I’m giving this restaurant, one of my vegan favorites of which I’ve been going to since it first opened, one star because of the TERRIBLE business decision of choosing an ordering app (Toast) that charges you 20% of your bill to just order from your phone IN THE RESTAURANT. I always tip at least 20%, so to eat in the restaurant it will cost me at least 40% of my bill. We are living in a time where restaurants & mom and pop shops are in financial trouble and are crumbing. I WANT to support places like this, but to charge you 20% to just ORDER!? Are you kidding!? Fix that and I’ll rate 5 stars as otherwise deserved.

I’ve eaten here a bunch of times and it was delicious, but my recent order was delivered and there was some kind of plastic thing in the fries. Don’t think I’m going to order again.

Delicious vegan food in Brooklyn and the East Village. Private outside dining area right in the street. Only odd thing is you have to spend a minimum per person of $25 to sit inside. Not why we ate outside, but odd nonetheless.

Honestly if you are out looking for healthy and great taste with good atmosphere, go here. The owners are usually present and very friendly, free appetizers kind of friendly. They also own a comedy club in the city which i also highly recommend. 5 out 5
