This place was so beautiful and clean and just very friendly, delightful, atmosphere. The waiter was very attentive and knew the menu well. The water 💦 was so fresh and pleasing to the palette. My dish was the side salad and a chicken sandwich with french fries 🍟 and I mean these fries were the best I have ever tasted and look at the portions 😯‼️and it was perfect on the September hot day in NYC Brooklyn. Hope you enjoy it as much as my husband and I did 💯‼️ We definitely will be back again in the fall

Stopped in for a late lunch Saturday and was warmly greeted. The space had a nice vibe and lunch was perfect -Caesar salad w/ grilled chicken and a glass of prosecco. Eggs Benedict at very close next table smelled divine. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back at this neighborhood spot.

i ordered their chicken and waffles and may have convinced nearby tables to do the same thing after they saw my food come out. the chicken was perfectly fried— crispy, well-seasoned skin with a juicy, tender inside. the waffles were fluffy and hot and when soaked in their syrup paired perfectly with the chicken for a savory-sweet combo. i also got their black coffee which have a delicious classic diner taste to it. highly recommend for brunch!

Came for brunch. A nice variety to choose from even though the menu is on the smaller side. The temporary outdoor seating structure is one of the best I’ve seen with quality chairs and tables, live plants, and thoughtful/cohesive decor. Food was absolutely delicious and prices are fair for the portion and quality.

3.5 🌟Our waitress was fun and lovely, but the food was mediocre at best and too expensive for what it is. Huevos Rancheros were good but definitely needed hot sauce bc it was lacking on that punch of flavor, and the BEC (subbed the bacon for avocado) was disappointing because the “potato roll with sesame seeds” was just a plain ol hamburger bun.

What can you say about Walters? Is it reminiscent of every upscale New American restaurant in New York? Yes. Should you go anyways? Also yes. It's a charming setting, great service, and delicious food (for brunch, I had a fantastic oyster, huevos rancheros, and some of my wife's chicken and waffles - all great).

Great lunch spot. Pricey (naturally) so probably normal NYC pricing tbh. The salmon addition to either of the salad options is super yummy! Their mashed potatoes are great too and they come on the chicken dish. Oysters were fresh and all of the food came out super fast.

Had a very pleasant experience here! I went for brunch with a friend on a Sunday afternoon, and aside from the service being tremendously friendly, the food was also solid. I'm usually afraid that popular joints get super busy on weekends, but it was surprisingly not super packed when I went. Got the Saigon Sandwich and it was tasty! Albeit a tad overcooked, but nothing egregious. The fries it came with were great though, and I like that it automatically came with a side of ketchup, mayo, and mustard. Can't speak much towards the drinks, but my friend ordered two cocktails and according to him, they were good. My only gripe was that the hard liquor-based cocktails were the same price as simpler drinks like mimosas, but I'd hope that maybe chalks up to them using more quality champagne or orange juice. Service was quick, and our waitress was very friendly. We sat outside, so unsure of the indoor atmosphere, but the outdoor seating was cute and spacious — seems like it could accommodate groups fairly well. There's also a park nearby, so the atmosphere is actually quite fun, neighborly, and laidback. Pricing in my opinion seemed a tad steep, but since everything we ordered was pretty quality, it was overall worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid brunch spot with friends!

We had a large group for a special occasion. They figured out a set menu that worked for everyone. Special requests, vegan, gluten free. It was delicious. And the service was beyond good. I highly recommend.

Every time I come to this place it’s to have their delicious burger: Walters Every ingredient it’s well balanced and I can taste the meat (very important). Fries are also good but it will be better if you prepare them yourself(be original). Service is fast and friendly as always. Just that the burger it’s a bit overpriced but nevertheless it’s a good one and I will come back again every time I can.

Very nice experience at Walter’s. We went for my father-in-law’s birthday and we enjoyed the wine and cocktails, the energy in the restaurant was buzzy and nice. The food was good but not super memorable. There were a handful of vegetarian options which I appreciate, but I had to re-check the menu to remember what else we ordered that I didn’t get photos of.

Staple restaurant in Fort Greene. Have been many times for breakfast/brunch but not dinner until today. Their burger and fried chicken always slaps. We were a little let down by the mains tonight (cavatelli and striped bass), but the oysters and artichoke dip were fire. The boozy lemonade was a hit. Perfect night and great spot with outdoor seating.

Great brunch spot right off the park. The inside is relaxed with tin ceilings and a cool vibe. The Bloody Mary is good with a nice heat to it from a ton of horseradish in it. The chicken of the chicken and waffles was a little dry on the inside (white meat and a little dry) but the breading and crust on the outside was delicious. The hot sauce it came with had great heat and should be used on everything! The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was also good. Best thing was the hash browns, so yummy!! Highly recommend for a good brunch if you find yourself in Fort Greene. And if you go on Saturday’s, there’s a farmers market at the park right outside.

The service was excellent however the meals we ordered left something to be desired. The pasta noodles were a little undercooked

Lovely ambiance, delicious and rather cheap food. The service was slower than in most places but that’s my only point of criticism. I particularly enjoyed the calamari and the waffle.

Great brunch spot with a lively atmosphere right off of Fort Greene park. Spacious outdoor seating and a nice menu with awesome options. Went with a party of 4 and we all loved the experience.

Walter’s is located on the corner of Dekalb and Cumberland across from Fort Green park. The restaurant is clean and crisp with a nice vibe, both indoor and outdoor seating. I went here for lunch and had the fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and a spicy honey - $25. The chicken was perfectly fried and complemented by the sides. I enjoyed the meal, the service was fast, polite and attentive. I’d go again, definitely for drinks this time.

Love this restaurant right by fort greene park! Easy to make last minute res or walk in and sit at the bar. Great atmosphere and service. Super cute interior with good music and lighting. Lots of outdoor seating. They have the best fries ever!! I’ve come back here twice to get the burger and the kale Cesar. So good!! The cocktails are super good too and reasonably priced for NYC ($15). 10/10 recommend

What a gem of a place ~ I’ve lived nearby but always forget to make reservations. We finally checked it out and they did not disappoint. Great service, music/vibes, quality food and drinks!

Great neighborhood spot for brunch. We had the eggs benedict with a side of bacon. Truly the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life — it melts in your mouth. Food was delicious, nice vibe & service was great. Definitely going back!

One of my favorite spots in Fort Green. Chill vib with good food and drinks. Great for a date or a place to meet friends. Nice bat for a solo outing too. Right across the street from Fort Green Park where you can take a nice leisurely walk after lunch.

The nonalcoholic drinks were pretty good. The food was good too but probably not something I will crave to come back for.

This is a lovely little place to eat! The octopus was great. The miso salmon was great. Fries were the perfect crisp & crunch. And the bar steak was delicious! Service was a little slow but they were friendly so I didn’t mind.
