Excellent pizza with a thin flavorful crust (medium crisp and great chew) with great sauce and cheese. One of the best slices I have had (I got the pepperoni). They give a big discount if you use cash. Prices are $3-$5 ish mostly and slices sizes are regular. They have tons of pizza options by slice (10+, including deep dish), pasta, desserts, salads etc. Seating for about 6-8 people is available inside the store.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Delicious slice joint. Good prices, really good pizza. Doing beautiful simple cheese pies and doing elevated, classically Italian things, like a sesame seeded crust with thinly-sliced-eggplant. This

Great pizza and available by the slice for variety! Love their NY style “deep dish” pesto. The thin crust artichoke hearts pizza was another favorites of ours

What a treat for locals in the neighborhood. In town visiting family and looking to taste a true slice when i foung this spot. Immediately upon entering, it got my wife's seal of approval as she is from Brooklyn. Everything from service to the meal was top-notch, and I happily admit that this spot has earned my coveted "Certified Mad Good" rating (first one given in the state). Will gladly return for another alice anytime, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Fantastic pizza shop in Brooklyn with pie so good, you'll want to slap your mama. The staff was super nice and the food was delicious, I would definitely recommend if you are in need of a slice.

Hands down THEE BEST pizza I've ever had. We had the Pesto Burrata pizza (12") topped with handfuls of fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and evoo, and a salad and we were both absolutely beside ourselves. Staff was so kind and helpful, ambiance/playlist was great, portions were perfect, and we even had two slices to take to prospect park afterwards. Seriously you don't want to miss this opportunity!

It's a pretty nice Pizzeria In my opinion. It was my first time going there so I wanted to start off with the basic pepperoni pizza. And when I tried it, it was really good! I'd definitely recommend going here if you feel like having some pizza 🍕

Without a doubt, Joe and Sal’s is the best pizza in the area. The dough is airy, pillowy, and light with a nice snappy crunch and is never soggy. The cheese, sauce, and other ingredients they use seam fresh and are always very tasty. Best of all, the staff seem to really enjoy working there. They sing loudly to the awesome playlist and are always super friendly. A++++ super recommended.

My friend and I was looking for some pizza for dinner and boy was we thrilled to find out that the pizza was delicious . It was awhile ago but I promised to share this information with the world it’s hard to find good pizza for the price when you have dollar pizza selling the same ingredients . Hopefully the pizza is just as good as i tasted it . It was so good I forgot to take a longer video picture is good

I wish this was my neighbourhood pizza joint. The pizza is hot and fresh and very tasty, crisp light crusts, flavoursome tomato sauce and generous toppings. We ordered a Vodka pizza with pepperoni, a Caesar salad and garlic knots (comes with tomato sauce). We went back the next day because it was so good and I would go again if I lived here to try the other pizzas! The staff are really friendly too and the place has a nice vibe. You can pick up personal or large size pizzas and slices too.

Phenomenal pizza!!! You can tell this place is all about pizza, and it’s obvious in that first bite. Trying to explain to a friend what I thought about it all I could say was, “I was happy.” This pizza stands out as a pizza guy making quality pizza for pizza lovers. They made a permanent customer out of me today.

This place is absolutely insane. I have never had pizza so creative and so perfectly executed. Every time I go there are new flavor combos I have to try. What I love the most is that they make such a huge effort to make fun and delicious vegan options. Most pizza places skimp on vegan options, but this place uses as much creativity with their vegan pies as they do their non-vegan. Also their garlic knots SLAPPPP.

Forgot to take a pic of my pizza slice lol. Ordered a chicken bruschetta deep dish slice. Solid. It’s more a to go spot with just 3-4 two seat tables. It’s a tight space but it works. The staff is very kind and professional with very Brooklyn accents. It’s authentic and I will echo what others have said in this as well - I wish this was my neighborhood pizzeria as well. I’d eat through all their options in a short time. The crust was excellent.

I’m a native New Yorker and grew up eating pizza, and then my husband and I stumbled on this place (thanks to its good Google reviews), and I realized every pizza slice I’ve ever had before was mediocre in comparison!!! The pizza here is SO delicious y’all—incredible flavors, really well-seasoned tomato sauce, and a unique, crispy bread. I could be wrong, but I think the pizza leans toward a Sicilian-style (not just in the bread, but in the flavors). An unassuming spot, but incredibly delicious spot with friendly service. I will be back and will recommend to friends.

10/10 experience. Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I got the everything pepperoni, my fiancée got a NY style pep, and my friend got the burrata. It’s a must try if you’re in this area.

The best pizza in Brooklyn!! The crust is always perfect and fluffy. A regular slice is always amazing but I love their specialty pizzas too. Vodka and Grandma is my fave 😋

The pizza here is delicious!! I loved the garlic knots with mozzarella and spicy buffalo sauce! I saw the menu had a variety of beef patties, too, like ones with mozzarella cheese and pasta sauce and a few others. The workers were super nice. Im coming back!!

By FAR my favorite pizza in all of NYC. Most delicious chewy crust, perfect everything. The folks who work there are always super nice too. I honestly don’t know what else to say- Joe & Sal’s is PERFECTION!

As several other reviews wrote, their pizza is the best. I think this is the best pizza i ever ate. Sicilian pizza had soft yet crunchy crust that i really liked. Marinara sauce was very tasty. Every pie is topped off with basil leaves and drizzled with olive oil. Its a pizza is so good that i will be dreaming about for quite some time. Background music (Italian) was also very good.

Joe and Sal's has wonderful Margherita Pizza at a nice price point. It is my favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. Even though Brooklyn Pizza Crew (located on Nostrand between Sterling and Park) is closer to me, I always make the trek to Joe and Sal's instead. Two things to be aware of before going: 1. The pies do take awhile, so best to call in advance 2. It's cheaper to pay with cash

Love the pizza here. A hidden local joint. The owners and staff are super friendly. We come back ALL the time. Thanks guys!

Pizzas so yummy--freshly made and piping hot on brown paper plates. The crust is thin and chewy. So good! The kind of place that brings nostalgia when I'm decrepit. My favourite was the spicy eggplant. Not much seating. Walls are entertaining while you wait for your piping hot slices.

Straight banger all throughout. Their Artichoke Arugula slice is top notch. A cut above any neighboring pizzerias The owner speaks Italian to Italian visitors, which is always a good sign! But they are not Neapolitan style. Straight NY style but with higher standard of the ingredient and craftmanship

A good slice for $3. Good coverage of sauce and cheese. Medium thin crust with crunchy edge and good flavor, but definitely not traditional. Not a traditional Italian flavor, but the taste is good. Rate this one at 82.

Solid pizza, had the margherita and plain cheese slice. Garlic knots are hefty and chewy, better than your average. Don’t forget the chili oil!!! An advantage to picking up your pizza in person. After waiting for just a few minutes, the demand for it was readily apparent. Has real peppers in it, and maybe spicier than the typical Chinese chili oil! Wouldn’t be surprised if they trademark it ;)

We went in like for a quick slice, the place is amazing, quick and fast. But they give you pizza soooo hot that we ate it and burnt our Mouth's upper palate. It was so bad that it took 4 days for recovery. Sad part they don't notify you. Also it's not that I haven't had pizza's in NY before But this was Hott ..

This place is a little expensive. But when you use fresh authentic ingredients, what do you expect the price to be. This pizza is delicious. Only gave it four stars because the price is a bit high. I cannot tell a lie, the pizza is really good though.. 😋

False advertising. Love their pizza but I called this place 50 minutes before they closed and they would not take a pickup or delivery order. That is totally absurd. If you’re not going to take orders almost an hour before you close, change your hours.

Honestly one of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. Their gorgonzola/onion pizza is incredible. Every time someone comes to visit from out of town and they want to "try NYC pizza," I get it from here and they're always impressed. Their personal pie is pretty good for two, not super hungry adults. Sal, the owner is also there all the time and is super friendly.

I ordered take-out from this pizzeria with a phone call and by the time I got there, my order of 2 pepperoni pizza slices were ready. Outstanding service. Best tasting pizza in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn!

Their pizza is always delicious! The staff it's super friendly. And the service is quick. Definitely get a slice if you're walking by!

The pizza is always good here! Good for kids and adults alike, real crowd pleaser. We've mainly done pick up. The owner messed with me a bit and took the joke a bit far and that was kind of annoying but the pizza makes up for it. Whenever my friend with little kids visits we get pizza from here and eat it in the park and the kids are obsessed. They also sell dough which is handy if you want to make pizza but haven't planned ahead. Nice neighborhood spot.

A very good pizza place in the area. You can't go wrong here. Tried their pepperoni and buffalo chicken slices - both were top notch.
