This place is absolutely amazing. Solid heavy metal bar with concert venue in the back. Tons of horror items to look at on the walls and on the ceiling. Service is great, tots and macaroni balls are to die for, and cocktail list has insane names. Great respite from the busy streets. Look closely because you may miss it. This place gets wild. Get ready to rock hard and be in a dark place.

I've been to lots of metal bars in different countries and this one is definitely legit! Even learnt about some new bands from their cool play list. The staff are super nice, prices are great and I believe they do regular gigs too!

This place is a little off the beaten path but it's worth it. Metal, horror, booze, and girls. Drink prices are reasonable and if you get a seat at the bar you get a real show. There's a red headed pole dancer there named Lea who I'd let ruin my life.

Overall rating: 4.8 I’m absolutely, absolutely obsessed with this place. I don’t have many pictures bc it’s very dark, but what an eye opening lovely experience. You have to be open to new things if you’re not a metal head and want to try something new. Everyone is so nice, patrons and service. Sometimes I’m never sure of places like this bc I’m a POC, but I didn’t feel weird at all. Also their happy hour 👀👀 highly reco!

Ahhh sorry for being the 667th review!! Coming here to review and seeing 666 is so fitting! Went here after work with a friend to visit my friend who is a bartender. It wasn’t super busy from 730-8:40pm. I got a Shirley temple and the pizza. My friend got a blue marg and an amaretto sour. We both downed our drinks. Service was top tier. Great conversation. Great music. Overall a great experience! A group came with a dog toward the end of our time and the bartender gave the dog a bowl of water. I felt very safe and welcomed. The bathrooms are gendered however, they are single stall (and the vibe is use whichever feels right to you). You could spend hours looking at all the stuff they have on the walls. Please enjoy all the photos and videos I was able to take. I could write so much more but I will stop at this; I look forward to going again and trying other foods! Note: photos of drinks were taken after I realized I forgot to take a picture, they came full!!! Note2: when inside look up you don’t be disappointed!

Hottest spot in Brooklyn for live music. It's very cozy and always popping . Caught the NY band Blue Movie performance there last night.

Great Bar/Venue!!! Nowhere else in NYC can you hear world class Metal every night. They have 2 go-go dancers every night of the week starting at 8pm 'till closing. On weekends there are 3 dancers. They are stunning and if you get a seat at the bar you are close as you want to be. Drinks are not expensive. They have food options. Make it here . You'll love this bar.

My band Fire is Murder played a show there last night (1/22/2022) and Lucky 13 is hands down the best sounding club or bar we've played in so far. A few of us have been in bands that played all over the United States and toured the world. So you get used to making the best out of every situation. From playing a backyard show with a rented P.A., to a REBELMATIC pop up show on the streets of Brooklyn (go check out REBELMATIC and one of their pop up shows too. You won't be disappointed). But at Lucky 13 the sound guy Ed was amazing. It pays to have a great sound guy that knows what he's doing, cares about the band's and the music, and listening to our needs. So if you want to go to a chilled laid back place to listen to the best sounding bands in NYC head to Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn!!

If you like heavy metal, pretty dancers and a chill vibe, you’ve found your paradise. Shoutout to Melissa, Jamal, Jenny and Gavin for welcoming in our big group towards the end of the night and making us feel at home.

It’s divey and divine. Staff are very friendly and professional, the dancers are super talented and fun to watch. Also they have a really good range of live events and music. As a woman I feel safe here and as a weirdo I feel myself here.

This Bar/Saloon is everything a Fan of loud Music can dream of. Even as a foreigner I've had a lovely welcome. Whenever I'll be back in New York, you'll see me here! ❤️

There’s a 1 star review here that claims this bar is a “corrupt proponent of a sinister agenda” and I could not agree more. 5 STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend! 🤘 Also great atmosphere, cheap drinks, great music, great employees.

Second best bar in the city. Awesome decor. Awesome jukebox. A wide selection of drinks. Great crowd. Dancing girls. And they have concerts in the back. Not as cozy as Duffs, but bigger in every sense of the word. Only complaint is that the men's bathroom does not have a lock.

I moved out of the NYC area and this is one of the places the I miss the most, I visited them before going for the Iron Maiden show and that was a blast. You will always be on my list when I'm in the area.

A heavy metal dive bar with dancers. There's nothing like it anywhere that I know of. Some nice folks there, decent beer and whiskey selection, and if you're ok with tattoos, some beautiful women working there. HappyBunBun and Bewbletea (IG screen names, I don't need to know their real names) are my personal favs, I do my best to go when I know they're working.

If you want heavy metal in Brooklyn, you go to Duff's and this place. If you want Go-Go dancers sprawled out on the bar right in front of you WHILE you enjoy your heavy metal, then you go to this place. They also have a stage and live heavy metal bands on the weekends. Very sweet rock and roll memorabilia all over the walls. Even the bartender and the customers were cool and friendly. Check it out.

One of the absolute best metal bars in the country let alone New York. Owners are amazing, the bartenders are quick and fantastic at what they do, and there is so much attention to detail in every little corner of the place. Their small food menu always hits the spot, and the dancers are always slaying the house on the bar. Awesome vibes, awesome bar, 100 stars. Would recommend. Go there.

There's women dancing in lingerie over the bar, which most reviews missed, twerking over your drink almost. Then the bartenders "decide whether I wanna serve you that or not" which is kinda rude given you already got skimmed over by a bouncer. The drink was tasty and well priced, though. Definitely not recommended for the solo traveler, not sure if they were rude / racist due to my tourist and foreign accent or just rude overall. There's way better places just two blocks up by 5th avenues for the same price point. You might like it if you're a weed junkie, place reeked of it. Spent $10 for each jaggerbomb, left a $1 tip when leaving.

I've been 3 times , the first one was great , 2nd too, then last one was not that good...The bands were great, atmosphere too, service takes time to get a drink, the ice has a lot of ether though...And there was an incident were I was recording my friends ( I didn't realized or notice that girl on top..So 2 or 3 seconds got on my recording..She got upset & asked to be given $ because I Was recording her( I wasn't but yeah she appeared 3 secs on my recording ) I wasn't upset , I totally understand her & I said to her: -" Oh, I'm sorry , I didn't know but yeah you're right I'll give you something-" So I approached to my friends ( One in particular that was there watching TV & the girl, (which is totally fine) So I told him to pls give her some $ bc by accident she appeared 3 seconds on my recording ( I'll not put it on any social media but I do understand..) He said No..So it was embarrassing as the girl looked at me on a bad way & kept on saying loud ...So at the end my friend gave her some( I don't know how much , I told him at least 5dlls).. I said I'm sorry again to her but she was upset!! Anyway I'm a women I do support women but we have to understand in public places you don't need to make a scene, just tell me ,don't yell in front of everyone!! So that would be my only complain...Other than that It's great to have fun listen to your fav band etc....

Played here as an artist and stayed till 3 am partying with locals and other bands. Absolutely the most metal place in Brooklyn to hang. Nothing like listening to Witchfinder General and pounding shots at midnight with some cool cats! The girls were a nice cherry on top too.

One is the best metal bars in NYC. Cheap beer, metal, live music, horror movies, dancers and great people. What's better than that?

  • 5/5 Salim A. 11 months ago on Google
If you like rock and heavy metal, this is the place for you, if you don't like that type of music, you should give it a try because the atmosphere is super friendly and prices are good, they have delicious snacks, i'd suggest their crispy onion rings, you can eat and drink while a girl is dancing on top of the countertop, even if you're a girl, you'd enjoy the vibe of this place

This is the best metal bar I've ever been to. Found it by accident while on holidays in New York City and loved every bit of it. Heavy music, local beer from the brewery next door, great guys & gals behind the counter and affordable fried snacks. Thank you for the great new years eve party! Greetings from Germany

Best metal bar I have ever been to, in any city. They have a backroom with live music and a front room with go-go dancers on the bar. Beer is cheap and everyone there is friendly. They were playing zombie movies on the TVs when I went which was a cool touch. Go early, get a seat at the bar, and wait for the controlled chaos to unfold.

Awesome dive bar; cranking metal tunes; bartender’s are real pros; go-go dancers on the bar; reasonable drink prices. If I lived closer I’d be a regular. I’ll be back!
