Delicious, healthy, filling, and really kind owners! You can tell they really put a lot of care into the food. I think it would be incredible if you had bowls where students could have a rice base, and a choice of 2 or 3 types of mains on top! When I went, it was hard to choose just one main dish since I wanted to try them all. An special that allows for a quick balanced meal + options would be perfect for busy students!

The meatballs are not fully cooked. It is raw in the inside as you can see by the picture. This is unacceptable. The food is overpriced for the portion you get.

My partner and I wanted to share a meal together before he left to return home and we decided to try out Loumies. They didn’t disappoint with delicious food that had obviously been made with care. It’s hard to find something like a home cooked meal as a college student but Loumies didn’t disappoint. Their seven spice chicken was particularly delicious. Highly recommend!

Good experience with service but I genuinely disliked their three sauce chicken. Apart from having a weird flavor and being pricy, it's shocking that there's no vegetables or any other ingredients inside except for the chicken and rice...

Loumie’s is an absolute gem! We catered food for our graduate’s celebration dinner and every item was delicious and expertly prepared. Rania, who arranged the catering order, was extremely professional and warmly friendly. Highly recommend!

So glad this place opened in Ithaca! The food was great, especially the salad, hummus, vegetable tajine and bread. The owners were also super sweet and lovely to meet. I will definitely be eating here again!!!

The people who own this restaurant are really nice. I went in one night and I order a cheese pie (you get 2 as a part of the order) and he threw an extra chicken on the house. I plan to go try more food at the restaurant. In my opinion, pass on the chicken pie, but the cheese is just sooo goood. I'm gonna try a main plate next time, but yea I highly recommend.

IF you're ever in Ithaca, this is one of the little mom and pop restaurants I would recommend you to order from. Absolutely delicious and authentic cuisine. This is something unique in the crowd of fries and burgers restaurants in Ithaca. Service is great. Their menu isn't crowded, so you know for sure that their food is freshly made every day. Love this place. The lady running the restaurant is really nice and the atmosphere evokes a warm, homey feeling that is definitely reflected in the food. I got the 7 spices chicken which lives up to the name - it’s a succulent, perfectly seasoned flavor bomb balanced by the rice. The food is filling without feeling too heavy. It’s a tad expensive, but for this quality of homestyle meal, it’s worth it.

Some of the best food you’ll ever have! And Renya is one of the most wonderful people you’ll meet, I’m just as excited to see her as I am to eat her food.

Wow! I ordered the vegetable tagine and peasant salad and admit at first i wondered if it would be enough to fill me up. Super delicious, super filling. My only regret is not coming here to Loumie’s soon. So, so good! Also very appreciative they label what is gluten-free : … )

Tried this place for the first time as we visited Ithaca for the weekend. Had the 7 spices chicken, the chicken sandwich and some beverages. The 7 spices chicken was good but did not have so much flavor as I expected I guess, the sandwich had much more flavor and was way tastier. The service was good; there is only 3 seats so it is more suitable for take out.

Comforting and tasty food! The menu is short but everything on it looks delicious. The eggplant fasolia took me back home to Bulgaria because of our shared food heritage! And the cheese is excellent.

Amazing experience. Especially Rania and Cristina are so sweet, we were 6 people and they not only served us well but also fed us with warmth and laughter. It felt like the food was made with tons of love! The food tasted yummy! I would say, try EVERYTHING here! We ended up getting 7 dishes and everything was yummy!!

We tried Loumies for the first time tonight and the smell of the food when we opened the containers transported me back to my home country. This is real food made with care by people who care about hospitality and want to take care of you. Even the exchange with the lady on the phone reminded me of home, in her genuine and friendly manner. We tried several things, the beef pie was fantastic, and so was the sumac chicken sandwich. Im so tired of the overpriced mass-produced stale things we see all over this town. Go support this excellent local business instead! It’s fresh, authentic and well made Levantine food.

Pleasantly surprised with how large the portion sizes were. We had the 7 spice chicken with rice, okra stew, lentil soup, and the meatballs. Everything was delicious and very happy to have leftovers the next day. I would highly recommend. We didn’t take any photos as we quickly ate most of it!

My husband and I were looking for something fresh and interesting for lunch last week and we decided to try Loumies. What a lovely place this is! The food is absolutely delicious! Everything is fresh baked daily. The pie dough is pillowy soft yet chewy, and the toppings and fillings are flavorful. The place is immaculately clean. You just feel good purchasing food here, knowing that it is fresh and lovingly prepared. Highly recommended!
