First time here but it won't be the last! We loved how easy it was to order- you can use a tablet and look through all the options, or you can order up at the counter if that's more your thing. They had SO many customizations you could make to your ice cream and burgers. The burger was hot and delicious, and so were the fries. The chicken nuggets are out of this world though. They hand make them and they came out piping hot and fresh. The ice cream could have its own 5 star review, it was equally as good!

They forgot to give this very red woman more root beer after SHE spilled her own root beer. Would have been 5 stars if this event did not occur. Spectacular ice cream, great outdoor seating and a very friendly staff.

Delicious. I got a sundae with chocolate cupcakes and two flavors. Happy trails was one! I also stopped by on my way out of town to grab dry ice, you can get some to go. Love that! Would return again and again if I was local, delicious ice cream spot and it's near Ithaca Bakery too

Purity has been around for a long time, and for good reason. The amount of choices in flavors alone is astounding. They do have nondairy options, if needed. They have sundaes, shakes, and more. I love the Madigan Mint, Cookie Dough After Dark, and Sea Salt Caramel. They also have gourmet cones, ice cream sandwiches, and baked goods. I've never eaten at the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

it’s Purity. what more is there to say? i basically grew up on madigan mint. delicious/creative flavors, retro vibes, and super friendly staff (our server was Erin i think). favorite spot in the town to get ice cream. flavor shout outs: choc raspberry truffle (pictured), gimme mocha fudge, mint chip, and sleepers awake 😎

It smells like a beverage center in the dining area. It was very dirty. Prices for ice cream was pricey for average tasting ice cream and combos.

Had to stop in here while visiting Ithaca - as its a famous local spot! Super cute ice cream parlor! It was busy on a Saturday night & the wait wasn’t bad at all! We came for the vegan ice cream. Got the dark chocolate with Oreo topping. Not sure what “base” they use for vegan but it was good! Creamy & delicious! Lots of outdoor & indoor seating. One block over is the waterfront so we enjoyed our icecream then went for a walk!

We had a great lunch here. The burgers were juicy and delicious. I've always loved going to Purity Ice Cream but this was my first visit in years. Glad I came back.

Fries chicken is really great! So are the sweet potato fries! I did feel they could have had more sweet potato fries in the order though! I didn’t have ice cream on this trip, but absolutely recommend getting ice cream when you’re there! Apparently they also have donuts now; could be worth a try!

Purity Ice Cream Co. is seriously awesome! 🍦⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently swung by for a scoop of their butter pecan, mocha, and strawberry flavors, and man, they're something else. The butter pecan is all creamy and nutty, loaded with these crunchy pecan bits that I couldn't get enough of. The pistachio ice cream was a bit of a let done. It tasty very artificial like and had an a fake sweet like taste. I’ve had plenty of pistachio ice creams that are naturally flavoured that taste much better.

I was treated, and it was absolutely amazing. Super highly recommend for families. Will be returning the next time in the area with my kids and yeah, the husband too! Sorry no pics this trip,had black cherry on a waffle cone, yummmmm!

Absolutely fantastic ice cream spot! Stopped here while in town to visit. Staff was friendly. Everything tastes fresh. My apple crisp Sunday was excellent!

I'm a big fried chicken sandwich guy. For some weird reason. Compared to all the fried chickens I've had in town. This one is the best. Breading is perfectly crispy. Veggies are fresh. Chicken is juicy AF. Don't sleep on puritys fried chicken sandwich.

Not quite a 4 star but better than a 3 star. Love the variety, the commitment to renewable energy and the retro vibe. The ice cream was both a good and not so good experience. Cookie dough after dark was delicious as expected but it’s a chocolate base not vanilla. The pistachio was very artificial tasting and looking. We couldn’t finish it which was a shame. It’s tough because you can’t see the actual ice-cream just the flavour names. Would have been able to avoid the pistachio issue if we were able to see the colour.

Great ice cream! Amazing selection of flavors and wide variety of their deserts. In the back they serve food too. Parking is easy peasy. The coffee flavors are really good. Hope this helps!

The hard ice cream is fantastic, particularly the multiberry ones. The soft ice cream is better than many, but is a little chunky compared so some. Will work for some but not all. Will happily come again if I'm in the area!

Visiting from California and without a car, I walked 30 minutes into town from Cornell to get to Purity ice cream. And it was well worth it. I got the no sugar added marble fudge flavor in a waffle cone. Spectacular! The staff was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this ice cream shop. Hands down, the best ice cream in Ithaca, NY.
