What a wonderfully vast green sprawl to be found in the East part of Montreal. No need to worry about bumping into people here. Everyone can find and treasure many corners of this space. Picnic tables and benches are available, however, more would be welcomed. Payable parking can be found by the Sherbrooke entrance near the chalet. Toilets are also finally re-opened. Some free parking can be found on Viau street. The bonus was having the Olympic park at a distant view. All and all, a pleasant stroll in a very serene park.

You will run short of breath if you try to take a full round of this park. It’s huge! Really good for walking around in the open. Got some benches and picnic spots too.

Such a beautiful park. Great place to bring kids for bday parties or even for a day in the sun to have a picnic. There's definitely plenty of space to play sports.. pretty much anything. Winter time you can come here to go skating. There's a chalet with bathrooms and vending machines as well.

It’s interesting seeing roaming sheeps in the park. The photos taken on sep 2022.

Fun place to visit in the summer. Great to lounge around and learn about composting, gardening and raising urban chickens. The grazing sheep are also fun for children.

We love parc Maisonneuve. Whether it be for walking, walking with your dog, biking, or cross country skiing in the winter. The parc is huge and well kept. Full of trees and surrounded by nature.

I live next to this park. Overall, this is a very nice huge park. The only thing that sucks is the yellow trail as you can see in the picture which is supposed to be multi-use path but bikers think they own this trail, many of them get angry when they see pedestrians walk on it and gets on their way. Speed limit for biking is 20km/h but they speed up much faster than that. It’s a trail for other purposes too, not a private bike trail for racing!!! There were a few times I walk with the stroller, they stop me, get angry and tell me to go on the white trail for only pedestrians so be careful if you walk on the yellow trail with your kids guys!

This is the best place by far to skate, run, jog, walk, have picnics and meet people of all walks of life. I've been at this place on 4 different occassion, just seated close to the street to watch people have fun, while listening to afrobeat music. But today I decided to take a walk around, and was astonished at how big and well maintained the place is. It's now my go-to place for running and walking. I really love everything about this place. Hoping to meet people and make friends there

Simple,Huge and spacious! Lot of space to walk, run, cycle, yoga or any other physical activity. Flowers would have enhanced the parks beauty, but still it's a good one.

It is really impressive the amount of large parks that Montreal has within the city (or really close by). Parc Maisonneuve is a beauty with big swaths of green space and it is used for many activities, so you can see a lot of people taking advantage of the space whether in the summer or the winter.

Beautiful park. We spend a full day, there is so much space, we saw lots of people but never felt crowded. Lots of shades and picnic tables. Just next to the metro Pie IX and at the door step of Le Jardin Botanique, just next to Le Stade Olympique. It's a prefect place to bring your friends and your family. There's a beautiful bike lane that goes round the park, very fun for bicycle, rollerblading or skateboarding, perfect for beginners to practice safely.

My only complaint is the bike VS pedestrian paths are not clearly defined, so people walk in the bike path, which is dangerous especially with speeding bikes, and bikes take the walking path, they need to install markers that clearly state which path is for what purpose, otherwise the walk through the park and back is a nice 3KM, easily done in about half an hour, even with a kid, many places to relax and play games, lots of space, they have proper bathrooms, clean, and lots of drinking fountains, even for dogs.

Parc de Maisonneuve is a true gem in the heart of Montreal! Its vast expanses are always clean and meticulously cared for. One of the most delightful features is seeing a herd of sheep mowing the grass during the summer season - a unique and eco-friendly touch! Add to this the occasional concerts and festivals, and it’s an unbeatable experience. With dedicated bike lanes distinct from pedestrian areas, it’s a perfect spot for everyone. A must-visit for all Montrealers! Highly recommend!

Great place for biking, skaterolling, walking, jogging and running. It's a forest inside the city. So peaceful and calm.

Simply amazing, you can pique-nique, exercise, meet with friends. The only cons I see is the bathroom, there are not many in the park, you have to walk long distance and not sure if they are open.

Beautiful park with so many paths. Lots of shade and benches. There’s a paved path exclusively for cyclists and rollerbladers. Dog friendly on leash. Seriously and excellent spot to get some fresh air and exercise

Nice park among the city. Really enjoyed a short walk with the pups. They had great trails for walking and biking, along with excellent scenery and places to sit for a moment on lounge chairs.

Great spots to play some live music. Also I lost my bike seat, if you happen to find it, please send it in the mail.

Such a nice park to go for a walk, a bike ride, a picnic or even to attend to the many events they usually have! There is street parking (free) and it is a great location for all ages to enjoy

I think this is the largest park in Montreal 🀯😍 It is absolutely stunning too. Ski trails, skating area and just so much space to enjoy. Lots of fun for the whole family

Beautiful park to picnic, bike, and enjoy a nature experience. It feels a bit like an overgrown golf course, with a wide variety of trees, and vegetation. There are paved bike paths as well as gravel walking paths. Roaming sheep are tended by volunteers, which makes for a fun visit for the kids. Drinking fountains are scarce, and portable toilets are being used instead of the interior pavilions with running water. I did not notice any adapted (large, ramp-style) portable toilet facilities.

I enjoy riding my bike up to the Park and take in the trees. Great atmosphere alone or in group. Accessible by 2 metro stations, few busses and like I said bike and any other transportation method you can think of. Very beautiful place on our island

Giant park of Eastern Montreal, with tons of activities summer like winter. The park is so big it's like you never feel it's Crowded. Perfect for chilling and BBQ smduring summer. Perfect for cross-country skiing and walk in winter. There's an ice skating park also. Botanic garden at the same place. My favorite park in MTL :-)

Loved all the paths. Biking and walking paths everywhere, lots of greenery. You forget you are in a major city here. We even saw sheep out for a stroll. Such a wonderful park!
