Pros: +3 stars. Easy trails, loads of free space to have a picnic or just lay on the ground and gaze at the sky. We did some canoeing and the staffs were super friendly, helpful and efficient. Loads of parking space. So much activities to choose from! Cons: -2 stars. Way too much engine boats. Loud music and cans of beer and plastic cups floating on the side of the water. They should limit the amount of engine boats entering in the area. It's very difficult to navigate through the water with a canoe, kayak or any water activity when there are so many freaking engine boats! An accident is bound to happen! You want to escape the city to enjoy nature and have peace of mind not have a bunch of people in different boats listening to loud music! (My photo does not do it any justice, it was hard to take pictures while our boat was rocking because of the amount of engine boats passing by. I also had to paddle like a maniac just to avoid collision)

The national park is not far away and nice that all islands are connected! We visited by bike two of the islands and saw different wildlife in the water and on land. It was quiet and relaxing and lots of space ! The trails were well maintained and not full of people or bikes.

It is utterly amazing and so rewarding to visit a national park like this one so close to a metropolis like Montreal. It took us less and 30 minutes to drive from the city centre to the parking lot on one of the main islands, next to the Visitors’ Centre. (If you don't have a car you can use a ferry from Montreal.) If you have bikes, do not hesitate to bring them (also on the ferry). We only had a day, but would love to come back some other time, and camp and stay overnight. Great facilities, friendly and knowledgable staff at the visitors’ centre, a well-maintained and well-signposted system of walk- and bicycle paths, and wildlife in abundance. We saw Virginia deer, groundhogs and a fox on our 5km hike around Île-de-la-Commune, and on a weekday in early August we met maybe 30 people in the park in total! What a pleasant break from the hustle and bustle of the big city, great for children and adults alike. Highly recommended if the Île-Sainte-Hélène in front of the city does not contain enough nature for your taste.

National Park is pet-friendly. This park is located near Longuiuel offering green spaces and waterside trails. Walkers, cyclists . . Leashed dogs are welcome in designated areas, as long as all mess is cleaned up after them. I recommend to visit this park really it is charming .

This park accepts dogs on some trails, the longest is 6km and wraps along the island. I love coming here mainly because of the deer population. When I need a break from day-to-day life, I bring my dog on a nice walk here.

We hiked for about 90 minutes around the perimeter of the island. It’s such a blessing to have this natural area in the middle of the city! It is an easy hike, well maintained trail with lots if trees, marsh and river to see. You will see tons of deer and groundhogs. If you love the nature, do not feed the wildlife!

Passed by because I was staying at the hotel governor next to it so I decided to take a tour. At first I hesitated if it’s worth the entrance fee to get in. One day on a weekday after work I went there and there was no one at the gate so I went right in. I was surprised. There were more deers than people. There’s a long loop of nice gravel trail for walking and biking. Plenty of picnic tables around too. Drive right into it there is a visitor centre and washrooms and parking lots.

This park is always pleasant quick trip if you leave around Montreal. Nice trails for walks or bike rides and easy access to the lake for water activities like kayak. Access to the park lately has been hard because of the tunnel renovation so check the traffic before you go.

Montréal's Ibiza - really!!! If you like parties this place for you. Probably not that crowded in the week days. But it was good experience. We brought our stand up paddle - a very great place for it but because of the holiday there were a lot of yachts a lot of music and champagne 🙂. Happy St. Jean Baptist Day Montréal 😀. By the way there are a rent for the paddle boats or the stand up paddle and the kayaks. A lot of plases for BBQ. It is a nice oasis next to the city. Camping available as well.

One of the best Parks to visit, interesting way to get to your camp site . You bike around 15 min with beautiful views and some animals on your way. Calm , clean and respectful site!

Great Park. Close to Montreal. Close to the south shore. It is important that you get a map of the island as you will get to discover how massive and beautiful it is. - Get your self a good bottle of water. If you are doing the 3 islands walking, you will need some food and water. - Don't underestimate the size of the island. - The island is perfect for biking, but walking is perfect. -There are a lot of activities all of which are free for kids. - There is a camp site definitely worth it. - Staff is friendly and helpful. - There are a lot of deer and birds. If you like to talk photos prepare yourself.

When I first reached Boucherville national park, I was surprised by the reviews it had. It didn't appear special to me, but eventually I loved everything about the park. I could see wild life upclose, especially deers. One with antlers too! There are so many activities that can be done with family here which makes it extra special. Loved it.

I visited this park for birdwatching and I was amazed by the wilderness. Despite some region of this park being exposed to the highway noise, overall walking/hiking was therapeutic especially after the rain, in which case be mindful of the snails on the trail. This park has a population of 'white-tailed deer'. I did not find any washrooms nearby the trail, hence, prepare accordingly. Entry tickets for the park can be bought online (9.55$/adult - tax included). The best part was taking a pleasant ferry ride by Navark (free for monthly or yearly opus card holders Zone A of Montreal) to and fro the Boucherville Island. One can take this ferry ride from Navette fluviale Mtl-Boucherville. Must recommend for a day visit!!

Totally fun place for a bike ride. You can rent a canoe too. This place is also really close to Montreal if you want to get away from it all. There are bathrooms as well. :) Definitely worth a visit.

Wow, I loved it, it's really beautiful à I did the longer bike route which I rented from the main office and it was very good. I advise you to buy the tickets online before going, and reserve the place for the bicycles or Kayak too.

Great place to camp near Montreal. Don't expect it to be a good hiking though. It's more like a biking place. Since you can not take your car all the way to campsite, which is about 2.5 km from parking. You can get a carrier for ur luggage, whether u are on foot or bike. The visitor center on first island closes at 5 but they keep the carrier facility open until later to allow campers to carry the luggage to campsites. Otherwise bring your boat and go via water. Just remember while reaching campsite by boat, it's down river, but returning back is up river, plus boat traffic on saint Laurent River causes side waves, thus reducing the time windows when you can really transfer through boat.

Recently due to covid, you have to buy tickets online. Once you enter in, you'll see the park is small. Not a super cool place to go in winter. Nothing much to see due to the snow, but it still gives the fresh air and some relaxation

Another wonderful park to visit. It is a combination of three islands. It has lots of hiking biking trails. We biked for many hours whole three islands. Lots of funs for kids as there are so many animals to watch close by. Deer, fox, raccoon, bieber, they are close by. Wonderful place to rent bike and canoe. What do you ask more as it just 15 minutes away from Montreal if you want to stay close and visit Montreal sometime.

Very calming and a great escape close to the east end of the city. The construction on the 25 makes the trip 5x longer so it has been very difficult getting there, and sadly it’s going to be like that for a while..

(Translated by Google) Beautiful. It changes from other sepaq. The route that I recommend is to go around Grosbois Island and if you have the time, go to Ile aux Raisins because this section of the park is really beautiful. We saw three deer but I'm sure we can even do a lot more. Otherwise, the southern part of the park is not very interesting because there are too many people and it is not peaceful.

(Translated by Google) Pitiful ski slope. No maintenance is done and it is obvious! The 3 put wide trail is shared with fatbikes, pedestrians and snowshoes and no indication to protect our trails, so often trampled. Trail with a lateral drop that always leads us to leave the cross-country ski trail. So much focus on not hurting yourself that all pleasure is excluded, a frustrating and somewhat dangerous experience. at the beginning I said to myself it's cool there is no skier on the piste alone! I quickly understood why (Original) Piste de ski pitoyable. Aucun entretient n'est fait et c'est évident! Our favourite place to go for non-alpine walks. Fairly popular with humans, but an abundance of deer and birds too. Just off the island so easy to get to/from. Around Christmas, we were even treated to a visit from Santas on paddleboards!

Beautiful park, nice paths and scenic walks, I went with my two year old and bright a hiking carrier and backpack and it was perfect, there were parks and a splash pad! It was a great day! I also recommend using their Avenza app because their paper map can be a bit confusing but the app actually shows you where you are live like a gpa and you know exactly where you’re heading and how to get there. 😁

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful Sépaq park being easily accessible from Montreal. For snowshoeing, everything happens on the other side of the small bridge after leaving Île Sainte-Marguerite. Because otherwise, they are hard beaten paths; ideal for small families but boring for snowshoeing. And on the Île aux Raisins, a beautiful course embellished with chance encounters with deer ... wow! (Original) Très beau parc de la Sépaq en étant facilement accessible de Montréal. Pour la raquette, tout se passe de l'autre côté du petit pont après avoir quitter l'île Sainte-Marguerite. My family loves visiting this place. There are lots of biking trails, various landscaping such as forest paths, riverside alleys and numerous nice sports to sit and enjoy the nature, and more importantly, so close to the city. There are a large picnic area close to the parking lot as well, which makes it a very good choice for all kind of family activities.

I bet the park is nice...but I could not get in! After waiting in line in my car for 15 minutes, when I got to the entrance booth no one could speak English. My French is (regrettably) poor. From what I could gather one needs to buy a pass on-line before coming to the park. You cannot pay at the entrance. Apparently there is signage explaining this on the approach road to the entrance but there is nothing in English. I thought Canada was supposed to be bilingual by law? Certainly, in other parts of Canada bilingual services must be provided at Government operations (and lord knows how many tax dollars are spent on that). I guess the Government of Quebec does not expect or want to attract tourists from other parts of Canada or the U.S.
