Promenade-Bellerive Park

Park

👍👍 Awesome view , really good community vibe. It’s around 12 km from downtown so not far but not touristy. The bike path from Montreal downtown to this park is one of the best. You can enjoy the park, or the deck in the river or the river side. Fishing is also allowed in this area. Best part is the bik... People often mention park, water, bike, walk,

Enjoyed walking this waterfront promenade from this center point of a long stretch along the St- Lawrence. Bonus: there's a new structure that not only offers an observation deck...it also offers a picnic area set up on two leveled deck. Plenty of parking in the area as well as a public washroom within the adjacent and main chalet. An extra integrated within the chalet is a small ice-cream bar.

You can enjoy the park, or the deck in the river or the river side. Fishing is also allowed in this area. Best part is the bike trail beside “Rue Norte dame” starting from “ Jacques Cartier Bridge”. Get your bike or get a bixi bike and go there it’s worth it !!

Amazing family park for walk or little run. Great for picnic or kids birthday. You can play beach volley-ball or fish on the pierce. It is quite long so you will have enough time to enjoy weather. Also has pretty nice and clean kids playground and water park.

This is a really nice and quiet park where you can go and use the bike path, there is also a nice view of the port and the south shore islands from there, I saw many ppl fishing 🎣 overall the park was clean.

Nice space of nature for a walk, plenty of squirrels and seagulls, free parking spots, biking trail and biking stations.

We bike here to get a nice view of the water, birds singing, its a huge park with lots of room to BBQ, have parties, picknick, stroll, or just ride your bikes around like we do, they have a gravel path that's wide enough to pass people without hitting them. Porto Potties available near the kids playground. There is also a ferry that you can bring your bike on takes you across the river to Longueuil.

Well, it is ok for kids and people who want to walk or bicycle, but I did not like the view. I thought it would be beautiful, but it is near a metal structure, and there were rusted ships in a not clear water. Maybe for people that live nearby, it is a good addition, but I came from Cote des Neiges to check it out because of the good reviews, and I did not find it great =(.

*UPDATE - PICTURE: Went for a little espresso at one of the park's waterside spot one morning 🌞 Beautiful parc next to the water and where there's plenty of trees. A go-to place whenever you need to resource yourself. You can go to meditate to the sound of the water crashing on the rocks, read a book, have a picnic, relax with friends, ride a bike or go for a run.

Great park for a long walk next to the river. It has enough space so people keep their distances. Parking is easy along the street.

Enjoy this large park. I love sitting by the water and watching the sail boats and larger boats go by. Relaxing. And in the summer I enjoy the ice cream scoops they sell there. A coffee shop there as well.

Cobwebs over all the displays, unclear directions to event, thrown together appearance, overpriced items for sale and drinks were warm, but we still had a good time. Good family outlying for children who will not notice the value verses the cost.

Beautiful spot, ideal for walking or biking, picnics. And lots of spots right on the water.

Have gone here for years to celebrate family birthdays. This year there has been a severe decrease in park cleanliness, specifically overflowing garbage bins and bathrooms out of service, porta-potties full to the max and not clean. There is also a severe red ant infestation (beyond the normal amount of ants you expect in a park). Parking has historically been inadequate as well. It's a shame since the park is spacious with lots of shade and water views. It needs to be managed better.

The place is nice but not up to date, you can boat ride from this parc to downtown at a reasonable price
