some
other

here.
Bought
a
TV
from
Best
Buy
(~$750).
Came
out
of
the
box
defective
(the
diffuser
was
loose,
leading
to
a
warped
image).
Spoke
to
Best
Buy
customer
service
via
phone
to
see
what
the
exchange
process
was.
Not
looking
for
a
reimbursement,
only
an
exchange
for
the
same
product
(but
not
defective
out
of
box).
I
was
told
by
Best
Buy
customer
service
(on
phone),
to
bring
the
item
with
it's
box
and
receipt
to
this
BestBuy
in
St-Jean-Sur-Richelieu.
Which
I
did.
Once
I
show
up
to
the
store
30
mins
later,
and
was
told
they
couldn't
help
me.
Their
customer
service
rep
Carol,
spoke
to
me
like
a
child
and
was
argumentative
/combative.
I
was
calm
the
whole
time.
Not
sure
why
they're
in
a
customer
service
role
--
they
obviously
like
talking
down
to
customers.
So
now
I'm
stuck
with
a
big
broken
TV,
never
used
it.
Did
all
I
was
supposed
to
regarding
the
return
process
which
was
explained
to
be
by
BestBuy
(on
phone),
which
doesn't
seem
to
match
their
in-store
policy
-
at
all.
thus,
I'm
out
1hr
of
driving,
1hr
of
customer
service
calls
and
in-person
customer
service
talks,
and
about
20$
in
gas.
And
no
solution.
