This was the worst experience I've ever had at a health clinic...first of all, they only take a $140 cash co-pay for walk-in appointments. The staff at the front desk were nice and all but they made me fill out forms that I had no clue what they were and handed me all these receipts and scripts without explaining to me what they are. The doctor (I don't recall her name) was terrible, she did not pay attention to anything I said and just wanted to get through the check-up quickly, proclaimed I just had a cold 40 seconds in, and wrote an illegible prescription. Turns out she prescribed me a medicine that I am allergic to, I told her which medicine I was allergic to but again it didn't seem that she paid any attention. I was only told I was allergic by the pharmacist - he told me that he would call her and get a prescription for a new medicine but clearly the clinic did not call her back as I never got the meds. DO NOT GO HERE. There are definitely better clinics.

I think this is the worst doctor I've ever seen. DON'T GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Believe me. I went because I had a serious infection in my throat, it was very swollen and it was hard to talk, drink and eat. I could even see my own tonsils super infected. I got in and the doctor looked at me and said it was a pharyngitis, that it was a virus and that it would just go away. That I had nothing. I asked her about the infection I was seeing and she said it was only mucus, that it would go away. She told me to stick to ibuprofen and that's it. I got home, had fever of 39 (I've been having fever three days in a row by that moment). I decided I needed to see another doctor so I went the next day to a walk in clinic, not only was it much cheaper than this place but they took my blood pressure, my temperature, everything. They listened to me when I talked. Things this place never did. The doctor came in and she saw me and straight away said that I had tonsillitis and gave me antibiotics. The next day I was already so much better. Haven't had fever ever since. So basically this doctor was completely wrong because she wasn't able to see the obvious infection I had. To be fair though, my throat did looked as if it could've had Streptococcal pharyngitis, but even for that you use antibiotics, not tell them to just stick to ibuprofen.

I feel even 1 star is too good for them. I took a walk-in appointment, the doctor was very unprofessional, cold and rude. I asked her if I need take some vitamin to balance my stress/sleep issue, she said, you should quit your job. Such a brilliant (hilarious) idea!!!

I gave an extra star because the wait wasn’t too bad so if you really need a referral/prescription then I would recommend dropping in. I arrived at 8am and the receptionist informed me that the doctor could come in at any time of the day and they’ll call me beforehand so I didn’t have to sit in the waiting room. I asked for an approximate time and was told around 1 pm. Because of this I had left the clinic and went to my morning class at 10 am. At around 10:30 I received a phone call where I was told ‘You have 20 minutes to show up’. I quickly ran across downtown and made it just in time. The clinic only takes $140 in cash. Not debit or credit. So it could be very inconvenient if you don’t have an atm nearby or cash handy. I paid my money and I waited. For around an hour. A doctor came in, didn’t introduce herself and I quickly explained what was wrong. While I was talking she continued to interrupt me. The consultation lasted less than 5 minutes. I mentioned a medicine I was prescribed and the Doctor hadn’t heard of it. I then googled the medical compound (which was rather common) so she could read about it. My blood pressure/height/weight was not taken. The doctor didn’t do a physical exam at all. She didn‘t prescribe medicine to help or tell me what she thought was wrong. I was handed a referral for a specialist and I made my way to the reception where I was going over my file with my friend who accompanied me. While I was talking to my friend in the empty reception (about the file), the receptionist called me ‘hey, HEY! Excuse me! Give me your file‘. I handed her my file and collected my receipt and then continued to sit in the reception with my friend figuring out the next steps (we were going over my file and looking up specialists I would be able to see). We were there for at most 3 minutes before the receptionist looked up and told us to leave the EMPTY reception as our appointment was done. The rude behaviour of receptionist as well as the lack of professionalism of the doctor really dampened my experience and I would rather just go straight to a hospital rather than this clinic as they’re basically a middle man who charge you $140 just to see you for 5 mins. Like I said at the beginning of the answer, only come here if you REALLY need a referral or a prescription.

I visited this clinic on 2 occasions for a fractured hand. The receptionists are very nice and welcoming. The wait times were very reasonable. The office itself is conveniently located near McGill and Peel metro and the premises are clean and accommodating. Unfortunately, I was not pleased with any other aspect of my experience. Upon my first visit, I was told to go elsewhere to get an x-ray. I understand this is normal procedure because this particular clinic does not have the facilities to conduct x-rays. I had the x-ray done elsewhere, waited a few days for the clinic to receive the results, and returned for their assessment of the x-ray. At that point I was simply told to go back to the other facility (hospital) to take care of my fracture. The clinic basically acted as a "middleman" without being able to provide me with any real services. I suppose I should have been wiser and gone to a more equipped clinic that does not need to outsource certain services, but I am still disappointed at the lack of value I received at this clinic. Here is the kind of info I would have appreciated: 1) What kind of measures should I take in the meantime? 2) Should I put ice on my hand? 3) Should I wrap it up? 4) Is it urgent to the extent that I should not go to work today? 4) How bad is the fracture? When I sat down with the doctor, I felt I was rushed out of the office. I had specific questions to help me understand the extent of my injury, and the answers were very vague. I left because I did not feel welcome. I don't understand what added value or benefit I received from visiting this clinic as opposed to going to a hospital and perhaps waiting longer, but receiving all of the services and information I need. If you have a cold and need a medication, this clinic should be great. In my case, I should have avoided wasting my time here.

Very bad experience I ever faced in my life. I visited them at 12 pm and the clinic should be opened . The doctor was screaming without no reason and impolitely she was not even listen to my simple question. The authorities should investigate in such a matter of disrespect and racism.

There is something scketchy about this clinic. It is always hard to reach them and they are not always returning the calls. They aren't providing appointements for walk-ins. The information isn't accurate on their website. They are suggesting to call you the next day and you must be in the clinic within the next 20 minutes after receiving their call. The clinic should be verified by the Ministry of Health Authorites. They are being very selective toward the patients they are taking.

I had a great experience here both with the reception, appointment organization and consultation with the Dr. Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, it was one of the better clinic experiences I have had in the city having lived here on and off for 20 years.

If you need to see a doctor, don't go there. Waist of time, unprofessionnal, condescending. Can't believe I wasted an hour for nothing. For a better professional advice, google your symptoms, you'll get more help :(

I went there to take a blood test. I don't know what the doctor did, but at the end my blood splattered everywhere and my dress got bloody! My arm got brused for few months.

Sadly I could not put fewer stars. The receptionist was very rude and dismissive. I can't even say she was in a rush, as the place was completely empty.

I waited 10 mins and nobody is there. I went to second floor and ask another staff, she said you have to wait. And then I waited another 10 mins and ask “hello” multiple times. Nobody answers.

I came to see the reviews after having been at reception for some additional information..... VERY unpleasant reception... I understand why this clinic is poorly rated.. and seeing the comments, I don't even have need to know more, so when they call me (to introduce myself within 20 min 😯) I'm just going to say no and sign up for another clinic. Luckily for them it's a public clinic, otherwise it wouldn't last long in the private sector!

Edit: Stephanie called back and explained that it was a miscommunication, and she thought I sounded angry which made her feel anxious having dealt with a few other patients like that. We had a better conversation and she politely explained how the clinic works and that she has no control over the scheduling policies. Original: It takes 2 months to get an appointment here for a basic check up. The receptionist, Stephanie, is rude, continuously interrupts, and is dismissive.

I’m literally sitting at the walk in clinic in the dark at 9am. Not a soul in sight. No one here. Says they open at 9 on Google and 8am on their site. Called the number. The dentist office (floor below) answered and said she has no idea if anyone is coming in today. Total joke and waste of my time.

Dr. Nguyen definitely does not listen to his patients. She has neither empathy nor sympathy. Family doctor to avoid. Better to be on the orphan list and wait for a doctor who will meet our needs.
