Craving for Indian food, saw great reviews and so gave a try to this amazing Rasoi. Beautiful themed and much comfy place to visit and have lovely food with authentic Indian cuisine. Tried few - Panner Tikka was fantastic both in taste and portion.😋 The Green chutney is all we want with this. Samosa’s were great but a little overpriced. Naan’s and Chilly Panner was so fresh and delicious fully loaded with flavours. 🍛 Drinks too were great. 🥂

I have just had drinks, and our server is awesome and sweet! This drink, Naked and Famous, with Rum, is out of this world! The food, especially the Pav Bhaji, reminded me of good street food in India. My Chilli Paneer Tikka was tasty with the Sesame Naan. And now the Mojito, that is a classic for me and Mango for my companion looks refreshing!

Great experience & pleasant environment. The bartender was very talented too, made some great cocktails to us. Located in Saint-Henri, bunch of available parking spots near by, so you won't have to struggle.

The food taste was really great, except for Biryani which was a little too dry for me, but still everything was really good, as in quality, portion sizes and taste. Best dish I recommend is Lamb and Chicken kebabs.

It was our second time at this restaurant and, just like last time, it didn’t disappoint. We ordered six dishes, with four portions of rice and naan, for sharing among four people. Every single one of them was complex, flavourful and satisfying. Service was just decent.

I have mixed feelings about this place. Its not completely authentic Indian food for sure. But the decor is lovely, brings in a great Indian vibe and the servers are really nice and friendly. Another weird thing that stood out to me was, the tip. Upon payment I wanted to add in a 15% tip but I didn't get the option on the card and when I inquired the servers mentioned that they already entered 5% tip and that is something they usually charge. Just felt weird cause it looked like I couldn't add anything else from my side for the service and they took away my option to choose the amount of tip I prefer comfortable to give out

My husband and I have gone to this restaurant many times; it was a local favourite for us, and we loved to bring our friends here because it was that good. We decided to go this weekend, not realizing they had made a massive change to their menu. Needless to say this change was a disappointment. There new menu is nowhere near as extensive as there old one and lacks variety. Not to mention they didn’t have 4-5 items not available (including naan..). The new food items (we only got two), were decently flavoured, but nowhere close to the food they used to produce. If this was our first time going to this restaurant, it wouldn’t have been an experience where we would want go back. Unless they make another large change to there menu, we unfortunately won’t be going back.

The decor has a lot of personality & looks very nice, the service was fast & super friendly, and to top it all the food was absolutely delicious! My recommendations : the Mango Sour cocktail, the Korma Veggies (seriously one of the best I’ve ever had) & the Butter Chicken of course ! I personally don’t like it when it’s too spicy and this was leaning more towards salty&sweet with just the right amount of spices. We shared 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes with 1 naan bread and 1 rice, as well as 2 cocktails, for a total of 105$ taxes & tips included. There’s also a speakeasy downstairs and I had a delicious Expresso Martini from the friendly bartender Harry. I recommend this place 100% !

Food was good and ambiance was really calm and serene. Unlike other restaurants where music is either too loud or its too noisy , you can sit , relax and can enjoy a great service. Waitress was really helpful and nice.

I love that place ❤️❤️ It was my first time there and I have to say that the food was amazing! The staff was friendly and the waitress explained the concept of the menu well. Their flavours are great and definitely worth the price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A wonderful updated version of Indian cuisine. Introducing new ideas and concepts but still rooted in the typical South Asian flavors. On top include a solid, reliable staff, truly innovative cocktails and warm atmosphere. The look of the restaurant is very authentic. 🥰

Amazing! Rave reviews for this spot. We went this week for a “girls night out” dinner on the terrace. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience. The terrace was enjoyably cozy atmosphere. Yan was such a wonderful server. He really went above and beyond to provide us everything we needed, including his special mix of shots for us to celebrate our birthdays. Try everything on the menu- I have never been disappointed and I’ve been going here for years!

I haven't been to alot of Indian restaurants but I really love this one. It's a very cosy spot with hand painted decor on the walls, they have a nice looking bar with a few chairs where you can enjoy some drinks. They make pretty much every drink you would want. I always get the Caesar's when I come here they make it very good, they used to put a slice of bacon in the past but they removed it. I really love the nann here, my favorite is the garlic one, I also love the butter chicken and the sagg lamb. My favorite 2 dishes. Also the tuna tataki mango salad is very refreshing The creme brulee is very good This place also has a hidden bad inside that's downstairs. They also are open during lunch time and have a separate lunch menu. They also sell their sauces frozen that you can take home and make food out of the comfort of your home. I definitely recommend this place. In the summer they have a small terraces that they build in front. Service is always good here, Yan is the best. Rex the owner is always very friendly and the cooks aswell. This place is good for small or big groups.

One of the best authentic North Indian restaurants in rue Wellington, Montreal. Best for lunch and dinner. Must try crispy mushroom, garlic naan, mutton curry and kadaai paneer. The ambience of the restaurant is so pleasant, service is at best. Note: pay with cash you might get discounts.

Great ambience and food. Korma was too sweet to be a curry. Rest everything we tried was very delicious and the portions were okay.

PHENOMENAL!!! Next level Indian cuisine. Where do I even begin? I was impressed upon walking into the restaurant. The decor is incredible - talk about a restaurant draped in love with hand painted ceiling - I was instantly smitten! We started with a house cocktail (Golden Fashion) - so tasty including roasted cinnamon. Before trying a bit of everything...Onion baghi & the battered mushrooms were amazing! Then moved onto Shrimp Bryani, Chicken Madras, Lamb Tika, the MOST INCREDIBLE BUTTER CHICKEN, & garlic naan. I'm gluten-free which half the menu accomodates. Everything was beyond incredible. The service was excellent. Best restaurant experience I've had in years. Will definitely be back soon👌

Okayish place and below average service. Unnecessarily hyped. Went on a Saturday afternoon. We kept waiting at the entrance to be attended, no one in sight. You could here the staff singing and chatting loudly in kitchen. Had to literally shout and call someone out. Most of our time there, the staff was either in phones or chatting loudly in kitchen. The guy attending us sat facing his back towards us the whole time, busy in his laptop.

Ordered Tandoori Paneer Tikka which looked very tempting but was quite basic. Next thing was Paneer Tikka Masala which was SWEET! The curry was actually very sweet not like a hint of sweetness and was a disappointment to eat with naan. We also ordered Dal Makhni which was okayish too. I was super unhappy with the service as well because we sat there for an hour waiting for our food to arrive and also they didn’t inform us before the kitchen was closing and we had to order another round of naan. So we basically spent like $100, waited so long, first for someone to take our order and then for the food to come and still ended up going home without having a full meal! :(

Nice food, very tasty and well prepared. However, we were two with reservations and when we showed up they told us we had to wait and they invited us to go to the bar for a drink/appetizer. About 25' later we were invited to take a table, and then we had to wait another 45' for the food. Given the price we paid (they didn't even give us a credit) - which was not cheap at all and the amount of wait, without any concession, I would look for another spot.

I had visited Rasoi back in 2019 and it was amazing. When I found out I had a dinner here recently I was hoping that it didn’t go downhill due to Covid and I can confirm it hasn’t. I did notice ththat menu was shortened but it’s ok because the items that they do they do them well. I thought the price was also reasonable.

Delicious Indian place with very good prices. Food was quite spicy but extremely delicious. The Biryani, crunchy mushrooms and garlic naan were delightful.

Crispy Mushroom is to die for! best veggie dish in Montreal. Hardik is very helpful and his food recommendations are top notch! I must say.. this is my go to spot for Indian food with a great spicy twist!

I had a mild experience at Rasoi. I felt like our waiter barely wanted to talk to us (place was mostly empty) and the portions were quite tiny. Maybe I'm not getting the concept but I wasn't very satisfied.

I visited Rasoï first time with my family it was a great experience as food was very very delicious and worth. Staff was very cooperative and gave very quick service as it was my birthday they made very special with sparkling candles They also have a party hall with bar for 50 people With very eye catching furniture and decorations. Rasoi is only the famous Indian restaurant in area must visit:)

Food was really good, vegan options are well indicated but service was so long, we ended up taking it to go after more than an hour wait.

The owner and the manager perfectly accommodated my party of 20 earlier this summer. Great drinks and a lovely variety of food. I especially appreciated how staff took the time to explain what each dish consisted of (this is a plus when you have a group of people with different dietary restrictions).

Loved this restaurant. I took the pizza naan with figs and cheese; this is another experience, delicious and very creative. Had also the eggplant, potato and pepper dish with rice. For sure this is a place i have to go back to discover more! Great service with a smile!

I had never tasted any type of Indian fusion cuisine and Rasoï is the perfect spot to do so ! The blend of boreal meats and Quebecois classics (like poutine) with the diverse and flavourful Indian curries perfectly works. I have two staples that I try at every Indian restaurant to benchmark the place : the naan and the butter chicken. The naan is perfectly crispy, hot and seasoned and accompanied perfectly our sauces. The butter chicken was light, not too creamy and the chicken was super tender. It was absolutely delicious ! My favourite plate was still the lamb curry as the caramalized onions brought up the dish with a sweet side and the lamb was perfectly cooked. The poutine is also exceptional with the curry sauce.

We loved the ambiance, the decor and most importantly the food. We ordered tandoori chicken, spring roll ( the best) and Jalfrezi chicken with Naan( which was the best we ever had in Canada) We have been to several Indian restaurants but no Jalfrezi ever tasted this goooood!

It was my first time trying indian food and the food was so delicious. Loved the experience from beginning to end. My favorites were the naan garlic bread, the butter chicken and samosas. Plus we got free shots on the house at the end of our meal. Would come back in a heartbeat. Great manager and waiters!
