General store Discount store Dollar store

👍 The store is basement level with lots of “interesting” characters milling about outside and some inside. There is a security guard and the line moved fairly quickly despite a long line up. People often mention store, staff, Dollarama, good, stairs,

Take note there is a long staircase so accessibility may be an issue. Medium sized store with a good layout. Limited Hardware section. Friendly and efficient staff. They have a lot of self checkout machine so I'm rarely in line.

The best store to buy a lot of everyday use stuff for less then the supermarket, like : kitchen products, chocolat, dishes, drinks, pet food, candy, Landry liquid, socks, party decorations, toys… and more!

Dirty, cramped, and dingy. Generally this wouldn't be a problem but the cashier's think it's acceptable to walk up and grab items out of customer's hands instead of pointing out a mistake was made. Before I even had time to process what was being said to me the old man cashier was grabbing things out of my hands and pushing me out of the way. Truly embarrassing that he's 60 and still a grabby-hands toddler.

Not friendly for disabled people. Unfortunately, the only way in and out is by stairs. Other than that, the store is okay.

I went to the store on august 15th 2021. It seemed there were new staff. I have not visited the store for two months or so.On this day according to the hours which updated by the business 5 days ago on google map, the store was supposed to be open until 19:00. I was there at 18:00, the staff told me not to get in because they were closing. Then they started laughing. I made sure they are the real staff. They were. I told them I checked on google map and then get out of the house to make sure you are open. They told me it’s not their fault. They laughed and went away!!!! They were two young dark haired boys. I came home, I checked again. It said the business hours were updated 5 days ago by the business. My complain is it seems the culture of storing in Canada is changing by the person who runs the store. In Canada, when you say you are open, you are open !!!!!! And the smirky laughter was totally unnecessary. What’s going on here?????!!!!

Big Dollorama store, probably have what you're looking for. Even have automatic checkouts. You can only access through the stairs so it might be limited and note they're always homeless people at the entrance.

An exceptional array of items. Clean and well kept. As Dollarama's go this is my favorite. My only criticism is the wait time and the location of the cashier which is located in a blind spot behind the self-service checkout. I had several glass items that should have been wrapped and I was left carrying a bag with glasses rattling in the bag and prone to breakage. I would have rated a 5 but I was so uncomfortable leaving the store for fear of breaking my purchases.

It is Dollarama and very good that many basic things are available here for convenience. The staff in general are caring and helpful here. But this particular store needs more attention to the cleanness of the main door and its glasses and the pedestrian in front of it, the door steps, stairs, floor and especially carts and self-service check machines. All these need to be in a good shape that the customers and staff deserve better conditions in this regard. Moreover, many times I noticed things that are normally available at other Dollarama stores are absent from the shelves, for example: small cannes of tomato paste, olive oil, vinegar( rouge vine, apple cider, normal), sunflower seeds, small sandwich plastic bags etc. Once I bought a small Teflon pot but the cover layer went away and it rusted after I used it two times!

I find good prices, although there are almost no staff and they are not 100% collaborators

Despite I disliked a little when an employee told me to leave my soft drink cup outside because it's forbidden to get it in the store, I still had a nice experience here because I bought a Thermos bottle, despite it's little difficult to find, for that I asked an employee, he guided me to wrong aisle, after that I searched the aisle aside, I found that. Also I bought a LED light strip for my scooter here. Thanks for my shopping experience here !

The store clerks are thoughtlessly causing hurt & inconvenience to others. Left my basket behind and walked to Pharmaprix instead.

Understaffed. Great selection but completely inaccessible with well over 25 stairs to climb inside. Lots of drug addicts and shady persons around, beware.

Unfortunately this area is full of homeless people and they would often gather in front of Dollarama to hold the door for people going in a and out. If one knows what to expect at least one won't feel intimidated. The shop is fine, friendly staff.

This Dollarama is located between the entrance and the exit of Pharmaprix and it's at the basement level, only accessible by stairs so the less mobile people would have a hard time or won't be able to go there. I like the variety of products available in this store compared to other Dollaramas. The aisles can be tight but it's generally not too crowded.
