Went
last
year
(2021)
to
get
orthotics
following
an
ankle
surgery
in
2016.
My
right
foot
tends
to
roll
to
the
outside
and
I
can
twist
that
ankle
easily.
I
need
the
right
side
of
my
right
foot
to
be
kept
in
place.
I
hike/walk
a
lot.
All
of
this
was
known
at
the
time
of
preparing
the
orthotics.
She
did
a
3D
computer
print
and
provided
thin/short
orthotics.
Initially,
I
was
happy
with
the
product.
Over
the
months
I
have
developed
pain
in
my
left
foot
just
where
the
orthotic
ends
and
pain
in
my
left
heel.
I
went
today
to
Laboratoire
Orthopedique
Saint
Laurent.
They
told
me
that
the
orthotics
were
not
doing
their
job:
too
short,
too
flexible
and
without
the
proper
compensation
for
height
and
structure
on
the
right
side.
I
don't
understand
how
it's
possible
to
provide
orthotics
that
don't
address
a
known
problem
fully?
I
need
an
orthotics
with
a
bevel
on
the
right
side
of
the
right
foot,
it
seems
quite
straightforward?
I
guess
she
sold
me
what
she
had
not
what
was
needed
(thicker,
more
structured
orthotics).
Moroever,
the
whole
process
was
more
expensive
than
Sunlife
typically
reimburses
so
they
capped
the
payment.
So
I
think
it's
better
to
get
orthotics
done
at
the
orthotics
lab
directly.
There
they
will
do
what
you
need
and
adjust
if
needed.
