Over 10 years and still it's the Best Greek restaurant!! My favorites are the Kalamari, Beef & Lamb Souvlaki as well as the Roast Lamb!! Always received friendly service (dining in or when taking out)

Highly recommend the best Greece restaurant ever !! Good service great food and alway busy here .. my friend recommended me to come here and I’m not regret at all such a surprises for a big portion and reasonable price . The most popular restaurant in this area and good atmosphere .. we love to come back here again and again ..we’re a big fan of this place and I hope everybody who’s looking for a good Greece restaurant please come and visit you will loved to come more often!!

Love the calamari and roasted lamb dinner. The calamari is tender with just enough breading. The roasted lamb is tender that it falls off the bone. A huge plus is that they are very generous with their portions. We always have leftovers! The only downside is the parking and business during open hours, but sometimes we just do takeout so that is not much of an issue. If you want to eat in, make sure you reserve a table or come before the dinner rush!

Dined in with friends on a Saturday around 6 pm, they don't take reservations so you have to wait. We were told an hour wait but we were seated in 30 minutes as the restaurant was packed full. We were with another couple and ordered our food from a very extensive menu which had more options than your standard Greek restaurant. It seemed like not more than 10-15 minutes the food arrived hot and freshly cooked. The plates that were ordered were calamari dinner, dolmades dinner, lamb dinner, and prawn dinner. Each of these were cooked to perfection, especially the seafood that was not over cooked. Each of the proteins included a healthy portion of rice, a Greek potato, Greek salad, and a pita with garlic butter. The plates are enough for two meals as you get your money's worth. We drive out of Maple Ridge to come here as I would say it's the best Greek restaurant in 50 km's.

The portions here are SO BIG. One dish is enough for two people. I loved the greek salad, and everyone loved the bread as well. Service was also incredible!

Just like the other reviews said, the portion size at this place is huge. Luckily it's good, the roast lamb, chicken and beef skewers are all so tender and flavourful. The rice is fluffy and tasty. We ended up taking home half of our meal lol. But I definitely recommend this place. They're very busy, we went right at 4pm when they opens and the tables are filling up quickly.

We drove from Vancouver to Coquitlam for this place and we'd do it again. I love Greek food and this place didn't let it down. The lamb is tender, succulent and gorgeously prepared. I love lamb and am very picky with it and they got it right. The potatoes were also very delicious as was the rice. We started with the appetizer platter, which was a nice start to the mains. The roast lamb is very generously plated, so if you're not too hungry it's plenty for two people. The food, the environment, the menu, the vibe and the service give you that Greek experience that you're craving wanting to go here, which is what we got. It definitely hit the Greek spot for me.

I keep seeing reviews saying this place doesn’t take resos, but I called and was able to make one. I had a reservation at 6pm on a Friday night and waited 5 min. The wait for those without a reso was 45 min. I can see why this place is so popular. The portions are massive, meat was perfectly cooked, every dish was seasoned perfectly, hostess was friendly and service was quick. We were a table of 4 and ordered 2 appies, 3 main dishes and dessert and had tons of leftovers. Kalamari: I recommend ordering this as an appie. Nice and crispy, but needed extra tzatziki. Roast lamb, rack of lamb, lamb souvlaki: I love lamb and it’s the only meat I order at any Greek restaurant. My fave out of these 3 was the lamb souvlaki, and my husband loved the roast lamb. All their main dishes come with a Greek salad, roast potatoes, rice and pita. Ek mek: I highly recommend this custard & whipped cream pastry for dessert.

We went on a Saturday night at around 6:40pm as walk in because they don’t take reservations. There wasn’t a line up but the restaurant was packed. We waited for about 20 minutes before we got seated. The service was friendly and fast. The food came pretty quickly even though the restaurant was full. We had the lamb roast and the moussaka. Both tasted good. The lamb roast was a little dry for me but I still enjoyed it. Overall we enjoyed the dinner.

One of the best Greek restaurants in Coquitlam (possibly lower mainland). We ordered the roast lamb and chicken souvlaki dinner. Absolutely delicious with generous portions and reasonable prices. I would recommend making reservations as it does get busy on Fridays and weekends. Also, there’s additional parking in the back of the restaurant. Give them a try if you have an itch for Greek food! You will not be disappointed!

Great food and reasonable prices... if you can get past the terrible service. If you dine in, you'll probably receive decent service, but don't try to phone in for take out. If they haven't taken the phone off the hook, and actually answer, then they will probably turn you away because they are too busy. They will refuse to take the order. Apparently they are busy enough that they don't care about phone orders. Good luck.

We got roasted lamb, Moussaka, and tyropita. The first two were great! Moussaka was really delicious especially the top layer which I guess is a bechamel sauce. Roasted lamb was also fantastic. If you want more meat, defiantly go with the roasted lamb. Tyropita was not bad but I wouldn’t recommend. The experience was great. The service was quick and staff were respectful.

We were here yesterday and wow in a good way. Service was incredible. We made a reservation just in case and good thing we did. Laura was our server and she was awsome. I ordered the calamari dinner and it was perfect. My wife had the lamb and it was so good the meat fell right of the bone and melted on her mouth. My friend had the salmon and she ate all of it and loved. We liked our food so much I said thanks to the cooks. Our friends will be back and so will we when we are back in town. Laura if they come back he is a bad tipper so don’t blame when we see you next time

This is the best greek restaurant in entire lower mainland. From the marinated in wine overnight baked potatoes to the rice to the calamari wow. AMAZING must try .Alex thank you for exceeding and surpassing our expectations. The most helpfull polite friendly pleasant kind Waiteri have ever met in my life. I never leave reviews but this guy was on top and the best server waiter whatever his position is give that guy a raise because on top of the amazing food the waiter has wowed our expectations and just go this place is a must go place to visit

Second time coming here and it's not as good as it was two years ago. While all the other waitress was all smiles, our waitress, Ivanka was not. Roast lamb - good Sautéed tiger praw - okay Calamari - good Ek mek - not good. Mostly jello with whip cream Spanakopita - dry Saganaki - only good while it's hot Keftedess - good No change table

Food was pretty good and great portion, we usually order one dish for me and my wife to share. The service is one of the best, forgot the waitress name but the service was on the point every single time we visit.

First time; not the last! Neighbourhood spot with bright, positive energy vibe. Wait staff are uber-excellent. Our meals were super large portions of tender lamb and calamari. Enough for lunch the next day. Typical Greek decor but honestly this is a wonderful place to have fantastic Greek cuisine. Definitely my Greek taverna.

The portion size abs quality are definitely worth the price. It's always busy there, once you have their food, you'll realize why.

My first here and it did not disappoint. Easy to find location with ample parking in the front and rear of the building to accommodate both entrances We were seated right away despite the dinner rush. The service staff from our hostess to our server were friendly, welcoming, and polite. Large setting capacity. The menu can be overwhelming with all the great options. I ordered the moussaka and it was delicious, the best I've had since Greece. The portions are massive, so don't be hindered with their pricing. The quality and quantity are in abundance. This will be a regular spot for our family.

Top 1 Greek restaurant in great Vancouver. I always order lamb chops. Large portion, tender and flavoured lamb chops, nicely cooked rice, and even pita bread is my favourite as well. We come this place several times already, and we leave with satisfactory all the time. I was looking for a nice greek restaurant since I felt disappointed about stepho’s several years ago. And I’m very happy that I finally find My Greek Taverna. Thx!

We visited with the family for dinner after hearing great things about the restaurant. The restaurant can get quite busy in the evenings and weekends so it is recommend to make reservations whenever coming here. Once seated the service was friendly and we felt welcomed. We did not have to wait long for the food even though the restaurant was extremely busy. The food was great we ordered several different menu items and we enjoyed all of it. The prices are not outrageous and portion sizes are not bad maybe large for some. The restaurant has a great vibe and was definitely a family friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back again. If you do visit try their lamb dishes. I loved it.

Dont bother calling in to place an order for pickup. Dialed almost 20 times and never once got through. If you are in Surrey area try Little Greek Restaurant instead. Food is as good and portion is as big. Might be a better price point as well! Good luck and eat goood

Absolutely love this place, first time I tried this place and it reminds of of Stephos in downtown Vancouver. The roast lamb portion is huge and the meat so tender and juicy. Comes with yummy potatoes and Greek salad. I love it when they are not being skimpy on the portion. We also ordered the tiger prawn dinner. It came with about 9 large prawns! No room for dessert after this. Love it, definitely recommend. If you have a large group I would call ahead.

Went here yesterday for my birthday dinner and it was AMAZING! I have always loved Greek food but this place does it the best. Not only is the flavour on point but the portions are huge. I ordered the chicken & beef souvlaki and the beef was cooked perfect so juicy and the chicken was great too. My boyfriend ordered the roast lamb and it was massive and melt in your mouth tender. The Greek salad was smothered in feta cheese and the veggies were so crisp and fresh. The atmosphere was nice with the Greek style blue walls and wooden furniture and dim lighting. The staff were great they kept coming around refilling our water without asking etc. Highly recommend going here you won’t be disappointed!

This place came on as a recommendation. We decided to try out some lunch. Overall I was underwhelmed by the food. The restaurant itself is large and spacious, great for hosting groups and families. Staff was welcoming and kind and service was prompt. Where things fell short was in the quality of the food. My moussaka was gluggy and very under seasoned. It felt like it had been warmed up from frozen or was a bit old. The accompanying Greek salad was covered in too much crumbled feta and the tomatoes were soggy and tasteless, again making me think they were old or just sitting out too long. Portions were generous and made a for a filling meal, but I would definitely not order it again. Likely their reputation is based on some of their other offerings.

It was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend. My whole family enjoyed the food. The food was so generous portion. I couldn't take a picture of pita bread, salad, tzatziki and spinach bread. Every food was so good.

Great food at very good prices. Portions are huge, value for money is excellent. Have only had "to-go" at this point, but it is packaged well and travels nicely. They are open for dine in and am very much looking forward to trying that soon too.

Couldn't resist reviewing because this establishment deserves it! Visited on a busy Friday at 730pm, with a party of 4. Super full place, but we managed to get a spot. The hostess was prompt in receiving us and had set up a table, quickly tidying up a table that had recently vacated. Menus were given, and we didn't have to wait long to order drinks either. We ordered three calamari dinners and one lamb. Waitress was super nice (I'm so sorry I forgot her name 😢), very polite and efficient despite the crazy busy night they were having. The food arrived all together shortly after, and I was surprised. Presentation was great, Food tasted fresh, and the portions are very good. Calamari was nice and tender. My dad was impressed, and he is a very tough critic, even with customer service. The atmosphere was nice upon entry as well. I would highly recommend this place, and would love to come again. Too bad a ferry ride keeps me reasonably away 🤣.
