Prepare
yourself
as
this
is
long,
but
I
feel
completely
necessary.
I
cannot
say
enough
about
how
helpful
the
staff
is
at
this
park,
which
is
why
I
cannot
understand
the
couple
of
negative
reviews
about
them.
First,
our
AC
went
out
in
our
RV
in
triple
digit
temps,
and
one
of
the
managers,
Colleen
brought
us
her
own
big
fan
to
keep
us
and
our
pooches
cool.
Plus,
she
called
a
local
repair
man
for
us.
Second,
I
forgot
to
pack
our
grill,
so
she
brought
us
her
grill
so
the
kids
could
enjoy
steaks
and
sโmores.
Third,
I
banged
up
my
awning
and
the
managers
and
a
couple
of
very
kind
fellow
campers
helped
me
patch
it
up
enough
to
make
the
4-hour
trip
home.
They
did
all
this
even
though
I
accidentally
took
out
their
keypad
system
when
I
side
swiped
it
while
exiting
their
park
(completely
my
fault,
yet
they
STILL
helped
me!)
And
to
top
it
off,
Colleen
could
see
how
shaken
I
was,
and
hugged
me
and
told
me
itโs
no
big
deal
because
itโs
just
stuff,
reminding
me
that
the
time
with
my
family
is
what
matters.
Customer
service
aside,
this
park
was
the
perfect
ending
to
our
long
journey.
It
is
peaceful,
sunsets
are
gorgeous,
and
my
kids
could
safely
go
fish
out
on
the
dock
without
me
worrying.
The
dock
was
definitely
surrounded
in
plenty
of
water
to
fish
and
swim,
and
the
boat
ramp
was
as
well.
Regardless,
folks
who
camp
on
lakes
frequently
know
that
lake
levels
rise
and
fall,
and
especially
during
droughts.
The
site
managers
have
no
control
over
that.
I
just
want
to
thank
Colleen
and
everyone
at
Sandy
Beach
RV
Park
for
your
kindness
and
sharing
this
beautiful
patch
of
Godโs
creation
with
my
family.
(FYI,
I
thought
the
fees
were
appropriately
priced
compared
to
other
parks
weโve
visited).
If
you
want
luxury
and
a
โcorporateโ
park
feel
rather
than
true
lake
camping
in
nature
with
generous
host
hospitality,
maybe
this
park
isnโt
for
you.
But
it
is
definitely
a
place
my
family
and
I
will
return
to.
