Place somewhat met expectations. We stayed one night 5/5/2023. The staff was very nice and polite, they made sure we were taken care of. My criticism is the manager, she was very rude to my wife and our four children. The manager stated that if we are not quiet she will “kick” us out, she was very demanding and cruel. As much as the other staff were kind to us, we will not be returning or recommend this hotel to our family and friends. I feel that we will not be getting our deposit back based on the manager had her “eye” on us and how rude she was.

The service here was amazing! The rooms are big and the complementary breakfast was good. I will definitely be back!

The room was comfortable. The staff was great. The breakfast had lots of options to choose from every day. There was plenty of seating as well. It is centrally located and easy to get around Brownwood from here.

Easy hotel and clean enough. Didn't love the 10 commandments outside the building- not exactly welcoming. Halway smelled terribly of weed- I know they can only do so much but it was really bad.

Check in desk attendant was friendly and the rooms were updated and clean. It was a great location for what we needed too. Definitely recommend to stay here if you stop in Brownwood.

I stayed at this hotel overnight for a business trip. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They really made you feel welcome. The reason why my stay was ok and not excellent was because of my rooms. The rooms were nice and clean but I had to move rooms twice. The first room I was assigned the air did not work so I was moved to another room and the air worked but the tv did not work and I had to move to a third room. The staff was very accommodating but it was just a hassle having to move from room to room

The room was decent overall. We are locals that had a plumbing problem at our house so we had to stay the night here. Upon check in we were informed of a $150 hold on our card in addition to the nightly rate. They said the funds would be released back to us the next day. Next day comes and we check our account to find that we had been charged the $150 twice, so $300 plus the $140.12 for the nightly rate.. we went up to the hotel to ask them about this and they said they made a mistake and it would be refunded back to us. This happened August 28th and we still have not been refunded. Be prepared to be over charged and no hope of getting your money back.

Beautiful room. Amy at front desk was super helpful and friendly!!!! At breakfast they have a YOGURT machine with fruit available. 4 stars because of truck traffic noise. Bring ur white noise machine! YES would stay here again.

Best Western Riata is a fabulous hotel. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfy beds and clean rooms/hotel. We stayed there twice over the Thanksgiving Holiday while traveling and I want to mention Aimee at the front desk. She is stupendous!! What a wonderful representative of Best Western to greet us both times during our stays to and from Denver. Aimee made every customer feel like family when checking people in and was a delightful person to interact with after a long day of traveling. We will be back!!!

First off can i say how amazing Amy is!!!! First time at this location and she was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean, big and bed was comfortable! Something small that I loved so much is they have a tv guide!!!! 🤣 weird thing to be happy about but I don’t like switching through channels trying to figure out what channel I’m on or what’s even on. Had a good stay the only thing was the shower is a bit small, other than that Amy was great & hotel, staff and room were nice!

This place was incredible to me from the moment I walked through the doors. Breakfast was delicious 😋 and everyone was kind and courteous, especially Taylor. She provided me with the most amazing customer service during my entire visit. Very friendly, professional, as well as welcoming...like I was a part of the family. I will definitely be finding an excuse to come back since I had to leave early due to unforseen weather conditions ....I would definitely recommend. Ps: rooms a 4 because I had a little trouble hooking up my Nintendo switch to the TV's...lol

Slept until 11am... in a hotel, in a rain storm, on a Saturday morning. Great rooms!!
