Management is super weird at this location. I stay at various Hampton Inns all over the country. This one has a weird key entry, no self online check in and the manager asked me strange questions when I checked in. Fox News was playing in the lobby. This place and the people who run it are quite strange and I won’t stay here again

Nice hotel, my room did smell like a dog and gor this to be a Hampton I would have thought breakfast would have been different then the cheaper hotels in the area. Over all the bed was comfortable for me and the hot water was actually hot and not lukewarm. There are a few places to eat at within walking distance.

I will absolutely refuse to stay here in the future. This used to be a nice place to stay, but ownership has definitely failed at keeping it that way. When we arrived the lady at the front desk that greeted me obviously had issues finding childcare because her children were sitting in the lobby and one repeatedly said “b@$$s!)t”. Which I didn’t think much of, working mom can’t find child care, it is what it is. We got our keys and proceeded to our room to find that it takes 5 minutes and 200 swipes of your room key to open the door. Got new keys and had same problem. One we got in the room it was late so we went to take showers. To start it looked like something had happened to the shower head and they replaced it with a cheap replacement that didn’t match the rest of the fixtures and the shower curtain was so short that if you moved the shower head the wrong way you sprayed water all over the floor. The room itself has very little lighting. When we were ready for bed i went to close the window shade and found that it had been permanently tied in a half up position, I was not about to have my daughter and girlfriend walking around with the window half open with a very clear view from the parking lot. Over all cleanliness was so so. Front desk hospitality was awful I walked down the morning I check out and the man and two women standing at the desk staring at computer screens all refused to acknowledge me until I said “GOOD MORNING” and then the man acknowledged me as the women continued to stand like zombies. Come on ownership you all need to do better.

We've had experience with Hampton Inn at a number of locations. This hotel was fine for our needs. The staff was friendly and the room clean. The breakfast buffet was about what you'd expect.

Where do I begin. I was given two room keys that didn’t open my room. Then, I walk back down to the front desk where they make new keys, escort me back up to open the door and then I’m in. Then I try signing on to their internet and that doesn’t register my name and room number. I call down to the desk and they give me an alternate sign in. A few hours later, I’m laying in bed to hear my door open and a stranger is standing in my room with all of his luggage. He goes downstairs to tell the front desk and then they call my room to ask who I am and tell me I should be in a different room (sounding annoyed at me for this, no apology from them at all). Then I get a second phone call saying they are coming up to physically look at my room key to “see who wrote the room number”. It’s all been THE SAME PERSON this entire time. She says, “okay thanks I’ll make the report to my manager”. Still NO APOLOGY. The only reason I booked this place was due to the very limited hotel options here. If I ever come back to this town again I’d rather drive two hours to stay somewhere decent than have to be here again. A complete waste of my night between this and dealing with customer service after that. Garbage hotel chain, wish they had a Marriott here.

Great experience at this Hampton Inn, highly recommend it. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Troy at the front desk was kind, courteous, and very helpful.

I am a Hilton diamond member. I came in late and wasn't able to check in online. When I came to check in, the room that was chosen for me via the app wasn't clean so they "upgraded" to a 2 queen rm instead of the king I booked "at no charge." Got to that room and the AC was not working right. Went back down and got the last room and thank goodness that AC was working. Breakfast was above average. Was a little expensive for std Hampton inn.

Very dated. Television didn’t work properly, the room was not cleaned during my 4 night stay. Had numerous issues with the key card. These are all small issues, but the holiday inn down the road is a much better value.

Stayed in a suite for one night. Room was very spacious, kitchenette was nice. Felt a little damp and the a/c was far enough away from the bed that it took hours for that corner of the room to get cool enough for sleep. Key entry was irritating - had to leave the room several times and never once got into the room within the first 4 swipes. The free breakfast had a good variety but the scrambled eggs were watery and tasteless. I thought it was just their recipe but I stayed at another Hampton the next night in a different city and the eggs were much better.

Staff was great, most of the furniture seemed to be in good shape. There were several little things like rust around fixtures and a few areas where some touch up paint would be nice. The elevator door open button was broken and someone said they waited inside for a few minutes until I came along. The breakfast was average, but was enough to keep you going. Overall not a bad experience.

Be ready for some cold water - but I love the lady in the kitchen that serves our breakfast. She did an amazing job.‼️

The worse Hamton I have ever stayed in, hot water was out 2x during a 4 day stay. Roof tiles are falling down.

My stay was a little rough, from the time that I checked in. I checked in at 3:45, and was told that my room wasn't ready. It wasn't clean. I was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. It wasn't ready until 1 hr 45 minutes later, so several hours after check in time. No one offered any kind of compensation, just a "we're so sorry. It's been really busy" Several people that stayed with us ran out of hot water during the first night, which was frustrating. The breakfast wasn't bad. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was small and had a water hose in it the whole time that we were there. Closing time posted for the pool was 11 pm, yet we were asked to leave the pool at 10 pm because it was closed. The room and lobby area were cool, but it was hot in the elevators and in the hall ways upstairs. Check out process was smooth.

Great management! Very responsible and thorough. Was charged a smoking fee but that was my fault for not letting my workers know the rooms were non-smoking.

I've been to many Hilton's and I'm Diamond status, and the service here has been the absolute best. Huge acknowledgement has to be given to Troy and Lizzie who have just been phenomenal. They were able to help me out with the fastest response time and friendliest attitudes compared to all other hotels I've traveled to. They truly make you feel as if you're the only person at the hotel, truly a VIP experience. Thank you Lizzie and Troy for all of your help, I'll be back in town in 3 weeks and I'm looking forward to another several nights here thanks to you both!

Besides the fact that they are renovating, one of the worst Hamptons in a big area. Breakfast was a disaster. Sour milk, no butter, gravy was scary. Hot water not working like it should. Very small room. You could fit 2 of these into a room at Ozona. Update: One month later in updated room. Had to get front desk to assist with door, would not open.Toilet kept flushing through the night. Breakfast improved but still no butter as option. August 2019 Renovations seems done. No smell anymore. Breakfast is finally on par with other Hamptons. Earned two more stars for that. Keep it up guys. Well, last two times the doors dont open. Time to find another hotel in town. 🙄

We usually stay at Hilton or Marriott hotels when we travel. This one was easy to book on the Hilton app. It's conveniently located. Hallway carpets were dirty. I didn't like that the outside stairwell door was propped open every time we walked by. That's a safety issue for me when I'm traveling alone or with kids. I kept closing it and it kept getting propped open. Otherwise, staff was helpful and friendly. We did not eat breakfast there. Since we were in town for a softball tournament, I appreciated the ice machine in the hallway to fill our cooler.

Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. When I saw the staff, (J. and another lady), they did not acknowledge or greet us. We waited in the lobby for 2 hours until check-in with no acknowledgment or conversation, and at 3pm they walked away from the desk though they knew we were waiting for the time to come. When they returned (Jourdan), the room was not ready and they were not apologetic. I was greeted at the counter at that time with "What is the last name?" As a Diamond member there was no acknowledgement of that and I had to ask for water. The room had a spider and hair in the shower. On the 2nd day I wanted towels but the original staff was back and not at the front desk. . .i took towels from the gym. The night staff (man) was not a verbal/engaging person and I watched another customer express their dissatisfaction with him. He did seem nicer in the morning when he was setting up breakfast though. The morning breakfast and cleaning staff on Saturday were all great and greeted us.

Except for the pool's being out of service, the second floor carpet's being seemingly very dirty and our room's smelling like the aftermath of a pan-fried fish dinner; I do not have a complaint. <oh> If you are not using your in-room refrigerator (There is no in-room microwave oven.), unplug it so that the compressor noise will not disturb your sleep. I found the breakfast to be minimally ample.

Service was not trained well to Hilton standards, was not greeted and took awhile to verify my identity. Key cards didn't work to the room. Beds were uncomfortable. Parking was very limited. No indication that the rooms were cleaned or disinfected. Decent breakfast though. If you are just passing by its okay but if you have any expectation of a nicer Hilton experience try somewhere else.

We stayed Sunday thru Thursday. Our room a/c would NOT cool the room. Mind you this is during 100plus degree heat outside, I went to my friends room and her air unit had her room cooled very well. I asked for someone to come look at the unit or switch us rooms, was told they'd have someone look at it and nobody ever showed up. The breakfast was typical. The blonde woman working the front desk was very welcoming and had great customer service! There was several dizziness as shown in the attached photos.

There were maybe 2 people here that were kind, was staying here due to my husband's job. Manager was the rudest of all. Listened to housekeepers complain when we had to switch rooms mid-stay. We were there for 6 weeks, 2 week before we check out we start having an authorized charge for $125 come out of the bank account every week and nobody could tell us why until the 2nd charge was made. This made it hard to keep up with finances when we are having money held from the account every few days because they wanna make sure if we damage the room that we have the money to pay but were never informed of these charges coming out after we already paid pet fees and incidentals. Room service was okay, didn't clean very well, I had found pills from the previous room stay on the floor in the room which my 1 years-old should not be having any contact with even if it werent dangerous! I'm just happy I saw it on the ground before her. Room stay was very comfortable, but the service was horrible. We ended up checking out early and living with driving hours back and forth to my husband's job (I stayed home with our daughter) due to so many issues with hospitality and constantly having money held from the account. Might as well spend the money on gas than losing it to the hotel when we can stay home instead, homemade food and don't have to deal with rude service.
