Nice food and ambience. Good service.

I ordered the garlic sausage mezze that came with pita bread. Maybe I should’ve gone with something else because the sausage seemed of low quality (almost like processed hot dog). There was an attempt to warm up the pita bread, but it was done poorly and I was left to deal with a cold sliced up cork coaster. I think everyone else enjoyed their food more than I did. The mocha was good. I assumed I got the regular, as that was what I had asked for, but it was quite large.

Menu was very responsibly priced no complaints there by any means. However the food was unbelievably lacking. I ordered garlic sausage as a starter I had two slices of sausage when I say less than bite size that is being generous! The mains were ok and the desert couldn’t go wrong with ice cream. The service was very poor tables not cleaned before customers sat down or during unless asked too, when staff were around. Staff coming to tables with the wrong food and drinks. Very expensive drinks for example a glass of Gin £3.80 then plus 2.80 for the lemonade! Noting was highlighted that this was the case. Very expensive for what it was. No attention to customers wasn’t even busy. Staff not sure of their role. The only thing that made it alright was the sun was out. Hope we caught them on the wrong day. I’m still wondering who has the rest of my sausage 🤷🏻‍♀️

have been here many times and I love it. The food is always fresh and staff is friendly. They are very reasonably priced. You can get a 3 course meal for £9.50 and it’s very filling. At times I struggle to finish the main and the dessert. They are always busy but the staff is attentive and the site is clean. This is a family business and when I am available I always support. The owner works very hard and I love his passion :) PS dessert was carrot cake with ice cream today but no photo as we were too full and didn’t want to waste any food :)

Very disappointed, dined here many times and never had an issue, usually have the breakfast but today came for lunch. My daughter left most of her burger as it was dry, chips are frozen, my jacket potato with prawns had black fluff in it and when I tasted one of the prawns they were hard and tasteless. Milkshakes were not mixed properly and tasted very artificial. We were not charged for the jacket potato and they did apologise which was good. I wouldn’t go back for anything other than maybe breakfast or for coffee again.

Didn't realise how big the place was inside! It looks like quite a tiny cafe from outside. Priced very well and great selection, however service was great from some staff but other staff aren't very polite and just place food down without talking and when asked for things just does it without communication. The escalope wrap was tasty but sauce was more of a sweet and sour instead of sweet chili but that's just personal taste! Next time I'll ask for it without. Great salad though and portion of fries. I'd come here again, food was also very quick!

Great breakfast service a touch disorganised but lady manger spotted issue apologise and resolved situation. Well done. Recommended.

Delightful bistro. Service was attentive and helpful throughout our time spent seated outside. Great location in town and all for a very reasonable charge, no wonder they were busy. Thank you.

Went there for brunch. Ordered avocado toast and poached eggs. One egg was runny the other was over done and dry. Now the second time I’ve had this issue. There was no salad included this time round for some reason and one of the staff was cheeky enough to say “did you want it runny?” Considering how many options there are in Hoddesdon for food I shan’t be returning here any more. Very disappointed

What a fantastic gem in our little town. The staff are like little hummingbirds running around to cater for you. We only had the brunch menu but for the money it costs and the amazing food we had!! WOW!!! Get involved and you will not be disappointed.

Amazing food, service and great atmosphere. The quality of the food was outstanding and everyone was so friendly.

Do not trust in this place. Very bad experience.I had menú 3 courses 11 pounds very very poor in food that I never had. 4 little slices of halloumi ..lamb caserole was only a little pot liquid only and no Meat at all and for dessert I had Orange cake only was a couple of little spoons. One soft drink on top of price 2'80...what? I Will never come back for sure

I love going here for food. There great at accommodating for my daughter. The food is really nice especially the breakfasts and the staff are really polite.

The food is pretty tasty and reasonably priced, though not life changing in either regard. Reason for three stars: there was an error made to my drink order and when the server brought the correct drink back she wordlessly, roughly plonked it on the table and walked off.

Brilliant drinks! Proper chocolate milkshake with the thickness and chocolatiness desired.

Great tasty food and lovely service. Would really recommend!
