Really nice place to go and spend a few hours, they have all the Christmas decs and the model village out, so be prepare to spend some money! the cafe is nice to sit down, have some lunch in or a cup of tea and cake, friendly staff and good assortment of toys, food and other gift ideas for the festive season.

Wow. What service! We took delivery of our beautiful corner sofa and table set. The two benches were different to what we expected. Just got it all covered up from the weather, saving the benches separately, until we got a reply from the email. A man turned up with the two correct ones very quickly. Really excellent service and the furniture is lovely. Thanks Trowell.

A well stocked Garden Centre in Trowell. A great store with everything you can think of in terms of the outdoor. Also classy gifts and beautiful cards for all occasions. The restaurant is comfy and the food is lovely. The Christmas display is just getting underway and it’s amazing every year 👏

Good choice of outdoor plants and good Christmas displays when we visited today. What lets it down is always the cafe, over 20 mins in queue just to place the order and 50 mins wait for food (2 people). I think it might have gone on longer if I hadn't asked someone to check with the kitchen. One meal was only quiche and salad! They could definately look at ways to improve their system. If you don't have loads of spare time to spend waiting then suggest you skip the cafe altogether.

Had an amazing afternoon tea at the Digg café in trowel garden centre today would highly recommend it and it certainly made up after being let down for our anniversary at another place on Monday I had the traditional afternoon tea and my husband had the savoury one 😊

Very popular and busy place. We went quite late so didn't get to look around it all properly, just went to find what we wanted. Still lots of plants and the shop looked good although we didn't go around it much, perhaps if we had more time. I'd definitely go back again 🙂

Really impressed. First time been. Plenty to see and the Xmas display worth a visit next year if like me not been before. Didn't go outside due to weather but will return. Plus we saw the Robin who's taken up residence during the winter and was lovely listening to him singing away to the music :0) Cafe well staffed and we all enjoyed our food.

A lovely garden centre and Cafe but unfortunately I Can’t go to the Cafe during the winter because dogs are not allowed inside. There is plenty of hard standing areas inside the Cafe for us dog owners that could be made to allow us to sit comfortably. Such a shame that if we have a dog we have to sit outside in the cold. Please Trowell Garden Centre rethink this.

Quick friendly service but the beef burger was absolutely awful. No flavour whatsoever. Chicken burger was under flavoured too. And they weren't cheap. The chips were absolutely lovely though.

A lovely experience and a great festive day out. The little village was so fun, we could’ve stayed for hours looking round! Cafe was cute but we missed having an indoor space to eat lunch when having a dog with us.

Lovely lovely Christmas Exhibition. Observed both Children and Adults enjoying this area. Excellent layout of so many items to suit so many tastes. Very large Christmas / festive department. Not just plants, garden items etc, there’s clothes, accessories, jewellery, so many gifts and miscellaneous items. Big Carpark. Large eating area with good choices… Looking forward to returning.

Have mixed views of this place. Having visited from a child, I have fond memories. Recently, my views are less favourable. It has become increasingly difficult to navigate around the centre and almost felt like a storage area when we went today with boxes piled up. This also made the indoor area feel highly claustrophobic. We had decided to pay a visit to the cafe and being vegan it was difficult. Yes, they have nice vegan mains on the menu, but if you don't want spice, then there's nothing for you. We were told we had to complete an "allergy form" because here vegan is classed as an allergy in order to order chips as these were normally cooked in 'meat fat'. There were no light bite vegan options. We would have loved to have had soup, but this contained cream, and there were no vegan sandwich options. Coming back to Trowell's Cafe for anything other than tea and cake (yes, they had some nice options in the cake department) is something I'm unlikely to do in the future.
