Coffee ☕ Machine broken I asked for an American Coffee The reply was the Machine was broken I asked if in the circumstances as I ordered a cooked 🍳 breakfast if I could consume a takeaway Coffee ☕ from Costa on the Table along with my breakfast? The short answer was No I went to Tesco Express down the road and got a coffee which I partly consumed at the parking area in between my breakfast which is NOT ideal Perhaps the management could have allowed me to consume it on at the Table

This pub is one of our locals and we've recently started eating there for our "date night" without the kids. Food is standard pub fare but done well. I strongly recommend making use of the various offers they have on different evenings (eg BOGOF with their burgers on Thursday etc). The burgers and steaks are a good, safe choice - inexpensive too if you use their offers well. A note for chilli heads; the scorpion wings are tasty but very hot. You have been warned! Steaks are juicy- particularly if cooked medium or medium-rare. They also have a number of veggie and gluten-free options on the menu. The staff are relaxed and friendly; helpful but not in your face. I can honestly say that we've not had a disappointing meal or experience there; we regularly go back!! Personally, I feel that the food is at least as good as another local pub where the prices are 50-100% higher. Using their offers we can usually get a main meal and soft drink for 2 adults for £10-£15, which isn't bad going. We'll be back!

16 chicken wings for £5 on a Wednesday. great deal. Went back this week for Christmas dinner. Great deal and delicious food. Pate starter. Turkey dinner and crumble for dessert. Another vist today new menu. Flatbreads are great

Absolutely amazing food this evening. Had 3 meals from the bargain food and it was cooked to perfection. Service was fantastic from all staff.

A good place to have dinners. Football bar. Meals with reasonable price.

Had xmas dinner there. First thanks to all the staff for working xmas day you are amazing. The service was fantastic within a mins of being seated the starters arrived. We were never rushed though from this point. we were always asked between courses if were done befor the next course. The food was great especially the vegan/ veggie we had. And good value. The crackers were good quality and a nice touch was the xmas card and a copy of your menu choice on the table so you know exactly what you ordered. Overall exellent. For xmas dinner.

Ate alone in a quiet corner that suited me, food was good, service too, although it took a while to get served as the only guy on was making coffees on a big ole machine The place was a little worn but comfy.

My family and I visited on Thursday, and we were all impressed with the food and service we received. When we arrived, the pub was heaving with people; the food smelt delicious throughout the venue. Especially the sizzling plate! Service was still reasonably fast despite how busy it was, which was excellent. Bar staff were friendly and approachable. The only downfall I felt was that my pint of orange and soda cost £3.60 (!!) - more than the mocktails which I may as well have had at a cheaper price. We enjoyed a main and a dessert each - the courses were of good size, and the food was tasty! Biscoff cheesecake especially delicious!

No real complaints. Food was ok but served in an aluminium camping style folding frypan which is just plain weird.

We had a lovely Xmas meal with friends this afternoon. Everything was perfect. Great food service and a nice atmosphere. Thank you Danielle for looking after us. Will definitely be back.

Good beer and service but avoid the steak and ale pie as you'll find more meat on a snail than you'll find in the pie. Reported to staff, oh sorry about that. That was it so don't expect this to get fixed! Great response from Blue bell but a shame a review 5 months earlier reported the same. No worries the public will judge.

Visited here with friends on Wednesday 25/10/23. Cannot fault the service at all but as for the meal we ordered really not impressed with it at all. Decided to choose the Steak Fondue to share with my husband. We were looking forward to it from the description but the issues we found were that the steak had not been rested separately before plating up, hence the blood from the meat had seeped onto the plate. Also the rump steak was quite tough and fatty sadly. We will return but will try something else.

Went to the Family Fun Day. Whippd Vegan Ice cream deserts yummy. Plus met Woody and Buzz what more could you say Staff were wonderful as always. Very attentive and playing their part in Superhero costumes.

Great food and nice people. It’s a shame they cancel whole sharer items off the menu due to one small part of it being unavailable - no swapping etc. The place used to be super accommodating with stuff like that, it was a shame. Other than that the atmosphere was great.

Went the other day and had to send back my steak 3-4 times because it was purple raw in the middle as if it was out the packet and when it came back rare at best even tho i asked for medium it was burnt on the outside… but chips were nice and the rest of my meal was decent. I don’t think they check a steak to see if it’s cooked

Love eating here anyway. But tonight best meal I've had hands down. Big up Carl in kitchen gammon and eggs was perfect 👌👌

Had the steak fondue was a 10/10 could definitely feed 3 to 4 people. Everyone working with smiles on there face an more then happy to help. Will definitely be back

The food was great, and the staff they were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend will be going again. We had 21 of us they looked after us really well.

Good selection of beers including non alcoholic and great food. Well worth a visit.

steak for £5 !!! on a Monday or tuesday how can you not absolutely amazing value cooked to perfection staff here are so attentive and go above and beyond great atmosphere too

We went here recently for our annual Christmas get together. There was 20 of us. The whole evening was fantastic! The service was quick and never without a smile. The food was perfect and all came out together so no-one was left waiting. We all had the festive fayre menu which was a bargain. £17.99 for 3 courses! Booking was super easy as was the pre-ordering as you could upload it all a bit at a time as people put their orders in. The staff here are just the best, nothing is ever too much for them and they are always so polite. Credits to the chefs for the amazing food as always too! Thank you for making our evening a fantastic one!!
