Had the octopus, rustic bread with spread, trout with lemon risotto, and chocolate lava cake. All were amazing. Local white to accompany was perfect. Edit: While everything I said above is true, a colleague and I both got sick from this meal. Based on what others ate, either the octopus or the bread spreads were bad.

I found the place via the Falstaff Guide and I am amazed. A very good restaurant in such a great ambience is a perfect combination for family dinners, romantic dates and with thr cheap but good lunch dish also for the daily lunch. I recommend it to family and friends and will visit it more often for sure!

Wonderful place. Good food and a large selection of Austrian wines. Located by the river in one of the cities oldest houses. Can only recommend visiting this restaurant.

I had a short stop in Kapfenberg and went to this wonderful restaurant while I waited for my train. The waitress and chefs were amazing and helped me choose this wonderful dish with local mushrooms.
