Although the location of the hotel is very appealing, I do not recommend this hotel at all! No pool because of Covid, and of course this was only told to us once we had arrived! Rooms were not cleaned during our stay and weren’t very neat from the beginning. Many struggles to open our our room because of the keys.

Let us see: Low water pressure, for illustration: turning the shower head upside down shuts down the flow altogether. The promised pool is closed, so maybe stop advertising with it? Only cold and packaged breakfast with wooden utensils. Half of the lobby closed. They do not change towels once even if you stay there for 4 nights. It all makes it seem like they have misused COVID as an excuse to ease their workload for the past 18 months, without changing the price whatsoever. Some rude staff at the front desk. Unbearably hot rooms because of 'airconditioning' that is more of a romanticized fan. The fridge is basically a closet with a light, even the most dehydrated camel would refuse to drink water from it. But, the beds are good. I'll leave the decision to the reader.

Great location, close to the city center but far enough to not be super busy. Very friendly staff, good breakfast and good bar in the evening. Baggage room for if you arrive early or leave late. Clean rooms and well maintained. Only negative is that the air conditioning wasn’t turned on yet so the room got hot at times. The window opened so that solved most of it.

Enjoyed the stay, the breakfast did offer good choice of continental and English. Hotel is located a quick walk away from the train station:. Had to ask for tea bags and milk so lesson learnt take some tea bags and milk next time :) The pool was closed but we were not the pool type tourists so didn’t bother us.

Absolutely love this hotel, rooms are lovely, staff are very friendly and welcoming nothing to much trouble. Whenever I'm in bruge this is where I'd come back and stay. Close enough for all amenities and at the same time situated in a quiet location

Great location. I suppose the best way to describe this hotel is bang for your buck. Location wise, it’s great value. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was included with our stay. There’s a city parking garage located directly underneath the hotel. Parking was an additional €15.- per day. The rooms were tight, uncomfortable beds, and dateedbathroom. The bathroom shower either put out ice cold water or scolding hot water. Super inconvenient. We travelled and stayed here with our three children 4, 5, 8. The room actually had one big double (king) size bed and a “queen” size pull out couch. Definitely big enough for us to sleep as a family of 5. Unfortunately the gentleman checking us in forced us to book an additional, adjoining room per the hotel policy. He stated that 3 children couldn’t stay in a room. We are frequently world travelers and we’ve never had this problem before. True that most hotels have a policy regarding number of people staying in one room. But we’ve never had a problem staying with our three young children as a family of 5 in one hotel room with 2 beds. Of course we had no choice at this time, and agreed to pay for the additional room, at a cost of an additional €123.- All said we enjoyed our two day stay in Brugge. We love this city. Everything is walkable from the Novotel. 2 minute walk to De Halve Maan brewery. Just disappointed that we had to pay for an additional room and the conditions of the bathroom.

Lovely location in Brughes. Walking distance to the tourist highlights. Friendly hotel staff. Rooms are still the old outdated Novotel style rooms. Very hot without air conditioning. The outdoor swimming pool is nice. Little chilly but on a warm day you'll get used to the temperature. Outside shower is broken. There's a small kids playground next to the swimming pool as well. There's also a tiny indoor play area for kids. There's no indoor swimming pool, contrary to what a Google picture makes you believe. Hotel doesn't have any parking themselves but right under it is a public parking lot. It has four EV chargers of which only two were functioning at the time we were there and they were constantly in use, so didn't get a chance to charge. All in all, nice place, price is aligned with what you get. It could use modernization though. Family rooms are normal rooms with a sleeping couch having two separate beds stored in it.

Excellent location, a large underground carpark practically next door and the staff were lovely and helpful. The rooms were standard , clean and with comfortable beds. The breakfast was a total winner, good selection, fresh and great value.

Very good location, with underground parking next door. Tasty breakfast. But Not enough power sockets in room. Double bed but only one socket from one side? And zero from other side? And 2nd thing - 0,5l water costs 3 euro in reception. Really? Because of that only 3 stars.

We went as part of a tour with Gate 1 Travel (excellent service). Very modern, clean, and spacious hotel. Very centric yet quiet location. The only problem is that the toilet is separated from the bathroom in its own “closet”, making it inconvenient to get to the sink without walking over to the actual bathroom.

Short stay at the Novotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is good but a bit expensive in my opinion. Regarding the localisation it is really well placed. In a nutshell it was a great experience. I recommend.

The location is very good, close to the city center, the staff were friendly and attencious, the price was very attractive. It has nice space, TV, couch, kettle, frigobar, locker, small table, coffe and a nice bed. My issues are regarding the shower that couldn't keep the temperature, changing between hot and cold, not impossible to take a shower but not relaxing at all. The bathrooms lights were not turning off properly well, the last one but not less import, the toilet paper would be from better quality, I could feel the exfoliation occurring in the occasion. Besides of these managables issues, I reccomend the hotel

Perfect location walkable distance to all major attractions. People in room above were having a party so kept awake. I called reception at 3.00 and they resolved the problem.

Great location easy to get into centre of Brugge and only 15mins walk from Railway station. Rooms comfortable and spacious with great choice of breakfast

Friendly hotel, great location, spacious rooms. Staff were welcoming, they provided us with cold milk to make drinks in the room, bar well stocked and open 4 till 11:30 when we stayed. Perfect location for exploring the city with a pleasant 10 minute walk to main square. Underground car park not belonging to hotel which on weekends can get busy. Our room had a double bed and sofa, as we were friends sharing had the sofa made up which was more comfy than it looked. Room still had plenty of space, only draw back was access to the window due to a beam in ceiling coming to floor so had to wrap around awkwardly to get to window, just calling out for anyone that may have mobility issues. First time staying here as usually stay opposite in the IBIS but would book here moving forward for better rooms.

Hotel is a bit outdated but still clean and nice. Only stayed for one night with a tour group. Breakfast had a lot of options. Area was quiet and close to everything.

Good location. That’s it. Stuff really rude, no coffee or anything available between 10.30 and 16.30 - rooms are old and ridiculous hot as no air condition working. Better options for same price. Ps: for a 3 star hotel charging 250€ you should be able to print boarding passes for guests..

Came here with a group of 12 people. Others complained of unclean rooms (toenails in extra bed). Shower definitely doesn’t look clean (short black hair on the walls). Breakfast is phenomenal and staff are super friendly though.

Very good value for money!!! A very great location, just a small walk from the very centre and only a few doors down from the best chocolate shops in Bruges. The room interiors haven’t been renovated for a long while, but all the amenities are there and it’s very comfortable.

(+): the perfect and central location, spacious rooms, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! (-): WC and bathroom were separated, which was not apparent from the booking photos. The room could be cleaner!

Great hotel, excellent location with a carpark right next door. Lovely staff who are very attentive and helpful (and speak amazing English). Rooms are pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. Nice bar with a good selection of drinks (hard and soft) at very reasonable prices.

Great location, rooms are fine but a bit dated and need refurbishment (and as with all Novotels, way too hot at night!). Breakfast is really good.

Perfect location walkable distance to all major attractions. Very welcoming staff and good parking options. Rooms were bigger than most in Europe.

This Hotel was surprisingly convenient - there is a cycling bridge over the motorway so you can cycle into downtown Burges in 15 mins: a great way to start the day! The hotel will rent well maintained bicycles 10 euro/day. You can also rent them at the train station.

Didn't feel it was worth the money, had an issue with housekeeping. The bathroom floor wasn't clean and they'd left the previous guest's dirty towel hanging behind the bathroom door.....not really 'clean' in this day of needing to be Covid safe.

Great location. The hotel charges a small fee for dogs, but offers a gift bag upon arrival. The standard room is large and offers wonderful views of the city center.

Clean, spacious hotel, 10 minute walk from the city centre. Really welcoming and helpful staff, check in and out was a breeze and able to store our luggage before and after our stay. Room was comfortable, although a little warm with few options to cool it down. Bonus of a small fridge in the room. Disappointed that the bar was closed on a Friday night.

Overall good stay, location fine, 15 minute walk from market square but enough to see, buy and do in between. Great restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinners nearby as well. Breakfast in the hotel is what to be expected, nothing outstanding, but the hotel is in Belgium, where are the waffles! Instead they served American pancakes... Another downside we found that the bar was already closing at 22:30 (10:30p). We are late coffee drinkers and were going to score one, but we unable to find one. Ended up getting our caffeine from a bitter if come from the fridge at the reception. Hotel room was clean, but couldn't get it to cool to a comfortable temperature without opening the window. Our room also had a leak under the sink that caused me pair of wet socks. Internet service was free and enough for our needs. Although based on the movie channels offered on the TV, you probably want to use your own stabbying service and get the higher package.

Good location but overall disappointing! The Novotel is located in a quiet backyard in the city center of Brugge. The hotel shares an outdoor pool with the Ibis hotel which is located nearby. The pool was also the main reason to choose the hotel but although the weather was warm and a post stated it should be open from April onwards, the receptionist explained it would only open in two weeks for the Belgian holidays. This was a major setback for our children. The room was worn out (discolored bathing tub, stains on the toilet walls, rather old furniture) and breakfast costs 22€ per adult (children are free) but was only open till 9:30 h. We preferred therefore the Le Pain Quotidian, which was not far away and offered much more for our money. Very surprisingly we had a fire alarm in the morning and the safety doors closed. Still no employee explained anything to us. As a result we went back to our room. When asking about this incident at the reception, we were told that there were repairs going on at the roof and activated the alarm. Still they were fine with not actively telling the guests. In case there would have been a fire probably many guest would not have taken this seriously anymore. On the positive side we received a free bottle of water, the toilet was in a separate room from the bath (but without a sink to wash your hands directly) and there is in fact a swimming pool (just make sure it is open for usage). The rates were moderate but overall I would not stay there again. Brugge has so many more hotels to offer and many for less money.

We only spent one night but would have loved to stay more, nevertheless the staff was incredibly helpful, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was very good with a good variety, will definitely recommend the hotel for families, very well located and great staff to assist you with any questions you may have.

We were only staying one night in Bruges and wanted to make the most of our time. We arrived a few hours before our check-in time and to our surprise, one of our rooms was ready! So it was great to be able to set aside our luggage and take a breath. The rooms were quite big and comfortable. Only bother was I couldn't figure out how to manage the temperature, so the room was quite warm. After our check-out, the concierge held our luggage in a locked room so we could enjoy our last few hours! Just what we needed.

Great atmosphere.. Bar staff excellent. Food really disappointing . We were told one of the restaurants would open at 6. Then we were told it would be 7. We then ordered pizza. Not cooked a6 all. Someone needs to manage the centre. Major opportunities.

The location is perfect, but this is where the good ends. The rooms are shabby and the promo photos are misleading. There are no tiles in the bathroom, old linoleum on the floor, a shower curtain instead of a glass screen. The water in the shower kept going from ice cold to hot. The service was friendly though and they were ready to give us another room, but it was too late for so much hassle, we were leaving next morning.

I think I would stay here again… Staff- awesome. Very friendly and available. Top marks here. Breakfast- fantastic. This was a bit of a surprise, but great. Meeting space- great space and sizable. The water was a bit disappointing. You get 4 bottles per table and no refills. That sucked. Room- spacious and nice. Our room had half of the bed broken. There was a significant ditch in it and made it overly unpleasant. Climate Control- basically nonexistent. It was just hot. Everyone woke up in the middle of the night sweating. Miserable. Toilet paper- useless. Needed to purchase our own art Carrefour across the street. Lobby/bar- great space to sit and connect. Outdoor courtyard- absolutely fantastic. Great for young kids to run around and enjoy. So many things were weighed in this rating. Easy fixes to bump to a four star. But necessary fixes.

OK hotel. First room I got had a broken AC (with almost 40c in the room). Next room also broken AC... But the 3th room was good. Good parking garage!

I am a fan of the Novotel brand. But the Novotel Brugge did not completely convince me. The location is great, right in the city center. The on-site team was very cordial, professional and accommodating. The selection at breakfast was also great. But unfortunately the furnishings in the rooms are getting on in years, should be modernized when the opportunity arises. The TV was quite small, you could not stream Netflix or YouTube on it. The internet was also comparatively slow (6 Mbps). The price-performance ratio is accordingly not ideal.
