Ihanaa löytää puisto ja varjoa. Oli kuuma hellepäivä. Kaunis paikka Bruggen ytimessä.

Final night in Brugge, thinking we saw the entire city, wandered down a side street and came upon Koni gin Astridpark, what a beautiful surprise. They have tulips in bloom, kind of at the end of the season, but you could still see the peddles and the color. The deep purples were magic. The park is a large green space with a small lake in the center surrounded by beautiful plants and flowering scrubs. There is a large round structure, more like a band stand, which is impressive. Fun place to walk and spend time.

Nice place to get away from the bustle of the crowds in central Brugge. There was a bandstand with a local orchestra playing which was pleasant. All in all the perfect place to kill a man if only one could find the alcoves!!

It was the last part of Bruges we visited during that tour on January 2021. We sat on a cement table, near those creepy trees I saw the whole trip, to have lunch. There was nobody else near and the environment was so beautiful. I remember that experience as one of the best I had in Bruges.

Beautiful park just out of the centre. There is a fantastic play area for small children, the lake and surroundings are great for an evening/afternoon stroll

The park is quite small, but pretty. A pagoda at one end, a tiny lake with a statue. Not much to it really, but nice for a little wander. Bruges isn't a very green city, so a park is a welcome respite. Could do with some cleaning though.

Cute small city park with lots of luscious green and shade. Friendly people and nice nooks and crannies to explore. Finally a nice playground where parents and actually sit down nicely on chairs and have a conversation! 😍 Playing is available for different ages and there's always a challenge to be found. If a kiddo falls down they'll fall soft in the sand. Drinking water fountain nearby in the park.

Love this park. Always make a point in visiting when we visit Bruges. The hotter the weather the nicer it is, but even when it's cloudy its worth coming to see the alcoves and have a bevy in the open.

If you plan have a rest in silent place near franciscan cathedral St Magdalene you must change place because in every corners of this park you may hear children's voices - primary school have a break in this area. Friendly for little children.

I only found this park by accident when wandering around the city my last night in Bruges. It had a very pleasant feeling to it and even in the evening there were still plenty of people in the park throwing a frisbee or walking their dogs. This is not a place that will show up on tourist maps, but if you are in Bruges and would like to spend some quiet moments in a beautiful park I would recommend this one.

We had just picked up lunch snacks at the grocery place across the street and went to have our meal in the gazebo where chairs were thankfully provided, when the clouds burst. Between our timing and the lovely view, we really enjoyed our visit to this park.

THE FLOWERS!!!! It was like a mini Amsterdam. Such a beautiful spot to hang out and relax, and enjoy all the yummy chocolate I’d just bought.

This is a good park to walk and get some chill time. It has a small pond. There are some activities/parties so it would be nice to check out.

Gorgeous park with enough shade and space for the whole family. The tulips, fountain and gold coloured gazebo make for stunning photos. It's the perfect location for a family picnic or even just a stroll. This park is safe and well maintained and situated close to restaurants and stores.

Beautiful peaceful park in the bottom end of Bruges walking distance from the market and Burg square. Lovely place to have a stroll or sit and have a bite to eat.

This park is a place to meet for youngsters and people who know each other...there are benches to sit and talk..or not...there are paths to have a little walk ..there are beautiful trees over a pond with a fountain.. There s also a stage around with a diameter of 10 meter..Music corpses can play to amuse the people in the park..this particular stage has Brite colors yellow ....This place is a joy for the users...a point of falling back on itself es...to become calm after a day's work or to let young mothers make a walk with their baby...This park exists a long time..all the time I live the park existed..A good example for other cities....thank God.

Only ever been on a clear blue day and it was glorious, sitting on a bench near the fountain is one of the most relaxing experiences I've ever had. Have a look if it's cloudy, but it's a must if you've been blessed with a warm sunny day.

It's a beautiful place to walk around or have a picnic. It has a beautiful fountain with chairs placed around it to sit down and relax for a moment. A very peaceful and relaxing place right outside of the city center!

Right in the heart of the city, near the Fish Market and Burg Square and in the shadow of Saint Magdalene’s Church, lies this glorious botanical park. And although Queen Astrid park is blessed with many imposing trees, it contains numerous other treasures. From the pond with its fountain, through a colourful romantic kiosk to a large playground where Bruges’ little ones can push their limits. There are abundant benches and chairs where you can sit to enjoy all this beauty.

Big park in the city center. Very nice to walk around Enough spot to relax on the grass or a bench. It even has a playground for kids. Sometimes weirdo's hang around the playground , so keep an eye on your very young children. Avoid during the night or when it is dark. You would.not be the first one who got harassed or taken away his money. . Be aware for the Dark force.

A beautiful location overall, although it could use some revamping and cleaning.
