Very good and different waffles, competing in front of a popular shop selling the classic waffle. Wouldn't miss this different style on my visit.

I mean waffle with chocolate basically tastes pretty much the same everywhere. The chez Albert opposite tastes better tho. One is for 5 euro.

Tastiest waffles we’ve tried in Belgium so far. There was no queue while in the waffle place in front was a long queue. The seller was super nice and friendly. Cost is €5 for each but it is worth it.

I like the idea. It’s unique and something new, but in my opinion it doesn’t work as long as the waffles are warm. I had a waffle with white chocolate and speculoos. Tastes fine, just weird-ish due to the chocolate still being hot and the speculoos losing its crunch as a result of that. The service was fast.

Lovely waffle van for fancy waffles. It’s happening waffle sales for its proximity. It’s €2.5 instead of regular € 2.0 but understandable. The Belgium flag was fancy and added to its presentation.

Johns waffle van is hands down the best in all of Belgium. My wife and I tried at least a dozen waffles from top rated and guide recommended places in Bruges, Antwerp and Brussels and this van was the best by far. Cash only which is fine because they are pretty cheap. Only thing that could have made it better is if there was a melted milk chocolate option but even his darker chocolate wasn’t bitter and worked well with the fresh strawberries.

The best waffles in town for sure! Fresh, sweet, warm, and with the best sight you can ask for right in front of the town hall. Go to John's van and enjoy a warm coffee, a refreshing ice cream cone, and of course the tastiest waffles you will ever try.

For 4€ you can customise your waffle, by choosing a Chocolate sauce and a topping. I had the cappuccino chocolate and pistachios. The sauce was a bit too sweet to my taste but I still enjoyed it. Thankfully the Portion is not that big so you don't feel nauseous. The waffle texture is really nice, soft and warm, that is perfect for a chilly night snack.

I was served by Jan and was very happy about the service and the waffle. It was delicious! You’ll see me again for sure!

A hidden gem in front of a family waffle store. It sells waffle stick instead, you can select to dip in either chocolate (white, dark, milk). Then add one of several toppings (coconut, hazelnut, sprinkles, etc) very delicious and definitely recommended

Instead of waffle, we ordered ice cream and it was nice. Both spekulatius flavor and chocolate flavor are good.

They are really great, excellent flavor, perfect to try you don’t get full but get a taste of the different syrups and chocolates. Milk chocolate, sweet chocolate, bitter chocolate, etc.
