Great
food
but
service
can
be
terrible
[Management
has
responded
to
this
problem
(read
below)]
This
is
no
doubt
one
of
the
best
Japanese
restaurants
in
Brunei.
When
the
food
arrives
it
is
great.
When
it
fails
,it
really
fails
in
terms
of
service.
This
is
not
the
first
experience
with
this
place
and
this
time
I
felt
compelled
to
write
a
review
of
this
experience
as
I
had
a
hiatus
for
a
year
in
returning
to
this
place.
Came
at
1130am
sharp
to
have
a
quick
lunch
before
a
meeting.
I
was
one
of
the
earliest
to
enter
the
premise.
Placed
my
order
immediately
(teriyaki
bento
deluxe).
Half
an
hour
later
the
order
never
came,
green
tea
was
not
even
being
served.
I
was
looking
over
some
work
documents
as
I
waited
so
the
green
tea
didn't
bother
me
that
much.
Can
you
imagine?
All
4
staff
walking
past
my
table
but
never
bothered
to
pour
the
green
tea?
My
cup
was
on
the
edge
of
the
table.
The
manager,
Mark,
walked
pass
me
a
few
times
during
the
wait
but
never
bothered
to
check
why
my
order
never
came
and
why
I
wasn’t
serve
tea
yet.
He
told
his
staff
but
it
took
another
5
minutes
just
to
get
the
tea.
One
of
the
staff
looked
concerned
and
asked
if
I
had
ordered
yet.
I
replied
I
did.
The
staff
member
came
back
to
tell
me
that
my
order
will
take
some
time.
As
I
suspected,
the
staff
'Emma'
did
not
write
down
the
order.
I
called
for
the
manager
'Mark'
and
asked
him
to
check.
He
then
came
back
to
apologise
but
refused
to
acknowledge
that
my
order
was
not
placed.
I
couldn't
accept
this
and
went
to
find
the
staff
'Emma'
who
took
my
order.
She
admitted
she
did
not
take
my
order
and
apologised.
The
manager
Mark
apologised
to
me
as
well
and
said
he
will
have
a
word
with
her.
I
mean
he
just
covered
for
her
in
denying
that
she
did
not
order
it,
you
could
tell
they
discussed
about
it
briefly.
You
really
think
Filipinos
would
gang
up
against
each
other?
It
was
really
insincere
how
the
whole
3
staff
dealt
with
this.
The
other
staff
member
lied
about
the
order
would
take
a
long
time
(it
was
35
minutes!).
I
just
wanted
a
quick
lunch
and
came
early.
Instead
my
order
was
never
taken
down.
It
is
not
the
first
time
this
has
happened
and
this
manager
is
one
of
the
sloppiest
manager
I
have
seen.
Pay
attention
if
he
ever
takes
your
order
or
if
you
make
an
additional
order,
he
wears
a
grey
shirt.
He
took
my
order
a
year
ago
and
the
same
thing
happened.

Despite
what
had
happened
and
upon
a
few
hours
of
this
review,
the
management
located
and
responded
to
me
through
DM
in
my
social
media
account.
This
is
well
appreciated
and
very
professional
from
their
team
who
cares
about
their
business.
Hopefully
their
staff
can
be
more
attentive
in
future.
