Ellis Burgers is the kind of place burger dreams are made of. Seriously, their menu has it all, from the classic cheesy goodness to some wild gourmet creations. You can taste the quality in every bite, but I gotta admit, it's not the cheapest joint in town. Also, be ready for the occasional hit-or-miss service. If you're up for a splurge and willing to take a chance on service, this burger haven won't disappoint.

As always,Ellis burgers never disappoint. Food was delicious, quickly prepared,beers were matched to our food to perfection. Staff was super nice. They are pet friendly,so you can sit anywhere with your doggo. Prices are ok for the location. Worth the visit

The food was nice for a chain restaurant. My roommate took the student burger and did actually get the discount. The service was also nice, they were friendly and we never had to wait long to order or ask for extra items/drinks.

Honestly, I loved this burger joint. The blue cheese burger with bacon itself was quite something, and the meat was flavorful as well. The poutine was the bomb too and had a cheese and onion topping. Recommended.

We went on a Wednesday evening around 5 pm. Wasn’t crowded. We ordered a mini burger for a kid and it was delicious. We also ordered a mixed salad and coleslaw which were also good. The mixed platter is also recommended. Overall I give them 5 stars and will definitely come back to try their other dishes.

I went there because they have vegan options. I was not disappointed. The food was really really good. I appreciated the sweet potato fries and the many vegan options through the menu. The waiters were lovely and efficient. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. Location is very central. Would definitely recommend it.

Went there for an impromptu dinner, and although there was a mishap with our order the staff was really helpful. I would gladly go back. Although, I'd switch to the sweet potato fries instead of the regular one, and ee could really taste the chimichuri on the steak, the garlic made up for it (we LOVE garlic).

Yummy burgers, they also have gluten-free buns. The service was not so good though.

Decent burgers, albeit overpriced. There are multiple vegan options, including the Beyond Burger. HOWEVER, the app you're required to use to place an order takes SO LONG. I'm sitting there ready to order and have to wait approx five minutes for the site to load. I cannot even tell you how angry that makes me when I'm already hungry, and is a reason I don't come more often. I hate it!!!

We came here for a small bite and didn't find the food to be amazing. To be fair, I was the only one to have a burger (chicken burger). My partner and the kids had starters, and all didn't find them very good. From other reviews the beef burgers sound good, and given this is a burger place, I'd suggest getting a burger if you do come here, and skipping starters, as we didn't find them good at all. I went for the chicken burger 2.0. It was quite a nice burger, with moist chicken. It didn't have the strongest flavours coming through, but it was cooked well. The chips were nice, although quite rich, so I couldn't finish them. My partner went for the nachos, and she said they didn't have the fresh flavour she was hoping for. She said they were more creamy than fresh and was disappointed by them. One of our girls went for the crispy chicken starter, and they were way overcooked and so dry and tasteless. For 10 euros, we felt quite ripped off by them. Our other girl went for the calamari and said it wasn't like other calamari she'd had and wasn't happy with it, leaving some. Both girls really loved the mocktails they had, so would recommend these. I went for the Duvel 666 which was delicious. My partner went for a glass of white wine, which she said was pleasant. The staff were very friendly and attentive. If we were to head back here, we would definitely stick to just the beef burgers, though, and feel we made a mistake in what we did order.

We got a table in the middle of the businest lunch business time in Brussels that is good already. Ordered naked burger, calmari and parmesan popato churros. Naked budger was nice and just the way it should have been but lacked that "wow" like F Burger in Estonia (souce, sides etc). Calmari was good but did not notice parmesan in parmesan potato churros. Maybe shouldn´t have. Service was good and smooth and the atmosphere nice. Cozy place.

Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. The chips were cooked perfectly and it was just what we needed after exploring Brussels all morning. The in-house lemonade was amazing as well. Honestly I could not fault this place. I'm only in Brussels for 3 more days but I will probably be back!

Lam Bürger war sehr lecker! Meatlover war für mich wie ein gut gemacht Big Tasty Bacon von MCs. Drinks waren aber wiederum sehr gut!

Delicious burger, cooked exactly as ordered and just the right amount of everything. Really delicious drinks, fizzy and just sharp enough. Would definitely recommend.

Ellis is part of a growing BE burger chain. Good selection of burgers and relishes. The vegetarian selection is probably the best of any burger joint in Brussels - and even include gluten free options. The service is always friendly, but the quality can vary (as with any burger place) from very good to OK. There is a ton of seating on two levels with a large outdoor terrace. Note that toilets are up some steep stairs. I like their standard cheese burger with extra avocado.

The burger was perfect, fries could've had a but more salt for my taste but were really good to. The service was great. Good beer recommendations and great service overall. The music was a bit too loud for the atmosphere but else also great. Would totally recommend!

VEGAN* Staff were friendly and polite however the beyond burger was dreadful like a cheap pub meal. the vegetable didn’t go well and only tomato sauce? Vegan is usually full of flavour the size was small and I think I had 3 sips from the one glass of pepsi so I ordered 2 and it came to €19 total also the picture of the plant based desert was not the chocolate cake only the ice cream. Will not be visiting here again.

Ellis used to be my one of my favorite burger restaurants in Brussels, but after my latest dining experience I wonder, what has become of this place? Where to begin... I was there with two friends, and we ordered three burgers. The first one arrived after 30 minutes; both the burger and the fries were cold, so we sent it back. The second one arrived after another 10 minutes and didn't have the extra cheese I asked for. At this point, no sign of the other two burgers. We asked the waiter, who had to take our order again, because apparently something had gone wrong in the kitchen. The two burgers finally arrived after another 10 minutes (a total of 50 minutes since we had ordered,) and while this time the patty was warm, the cheese was again cold (I mean from the fridge, not melting at all.) The waiter offered not to charge us for the sides, as an apology for the inconvenience, but when we went to pay, it turned out that wasn't possible, so we just had a 10% discount. Unfortunately after this experience I don't think I'll go back to this Ellis again.

I had some side orders, a vegan burger and a non alcoholic cocktail, all were superb. I love the fact that you can bring a mixed group of family/friends and there's something for everyone on the menu. The service was great and staff were very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful evening and I will definitely be returning.

Delicious burgers. You can tell the meat was fresh and properly cooked. The fries where super tasty, and the staff was very accommodating over my food intolerances, by removing from the burger a few ingredients. A good meal experience! Thank you Ellis gourmet Brussels!

Nice restaurant with great staff and great food. For Belgium, the price of the lunch menu is just great, I paid 12 euros for a big burger, divine mushroom soup (which I advise everyone to try) and a large portion of fries. The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing! I felt calm, as if I were in a pleasant company of old friends

Ellis Special 2.0 and Beyond Burgers were the ones I tried. They have discounted offer for students for classic menus which is 10 euros. Show your student ID and get it. Well the burgers are very tasty and the service was very good. Dont know why some people complained about late or bad service. The ladies were very involved in our meals. Green salad coming with the menu could be better. It actually is some lettuce and two or three cherry tomatoes. The sauce and fried potato were tasty as well. Thanks for hosting us.

Sadly Kom Bij Ma was closed, so we stranded in this below average overpriced place. Guests who ordered long after us got served earlier, wrong drink was served and it took ages to catch the attention of the waiters to change it (but gave up after a few attempts) When the food was served, the mussels were “ok” but not extraordinary, judging the price they charge. I hope other have better experiences here, I will not return here again

I love their burgers. Especially big fan of the meatlover & the blue cheese madness. We always order the sharing box when we order delivery, it travels really well for fried food.

Burgers were good, 8/10. I found this place on a blog about their gourmet burgers, but I thought there would have been more/better options. The burgers were fine, but I’ve also had better throughout Europe. The bathrooms are 2 floors up, steep stairs. Not sure if there is an elevator, so something to keep in mind. Overall good experience.

Excellent and service and very good prices I sat inside and ordered online. The burger that I had (with grilled chicken) was delicious with nice bread and perfect cooked chicken. Their fries were just amazing!

Totally overpriced for bad quality food. Nachos oit of the bag directly to the plate, with sauces gotten out of a can, even the cheddar and guacamole were really low quality. The beef burguer was nothing spectacular for the price it cost.

This chain clearly lost it’s quality. Slow untrained staff. Drinks without buzz (last drips of a bottle) boring burgers and staff that drops your food, forgets your utensils, promises to bring them (whivh they didnt) Try to eat a bunless burger without fork and knife… i’ll advise you to go to BE burger next door.

The burger and fries were fine. Also the lemonade was good. My boyfriend got nachos which weren't good so maybe just order burgers here

I went there a few times, year after year, and I really saw this place becoming more and more commercial. The quality is acceptable but burgers are full of oil. Still an ok place but I can't find anything gourmet there. Take away is faster than staying in.

I wouldn’t recommend going here. I don’t know why it’s recommended anywhere. Very average burgers, all the food was okay. Overpriced for what it is- passable burgers with student deals. Staff were friendly but slow and indifferent to us being there. Location in the square was great. Go to one of the many other good burger spots in Brussels instead

Great location, the square is nice and vibrant. We had to wait a little bit for our order, but it's understandable since it was Saturday night. The vegan burger was really tasty ngl, but 14€ for it to be that small and with no fries, i thought it was a bit of a rip off 😅 no other complaints tho :)

Easily a top 2 burger I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the Korean burger: it was cooked perfectlyX juicy, meaty, saucy, cheesy! Perfect balance. Oh, and the smoky ginger cocktail was amazing, too! Also, the service was the best I received while visiting Brussels.
