Nice place Nice atmosphere nice view waiters are friendly. A little ferry takes you to the restaurant. Food is delicious but if you are only used to the great infusions in the food.

This restaurant would be wonderful except for the fact they cover the island with bags of liquid that attract and kill wasps. I understand they can be annoying but in a time of accelerating climate change and biodiversity loss we need to be *saving* as many pollinators as possible, not killing them. This is deeply disturbing and I hope the management will reconsider.

A really cool place located in the middle of a small lake so you have to take a boat. We did a company event here and it was well managed, food and service really good.

An amazing restaurant in a chalet design , located in the middle of a lac in the forest of cambre . You reach it by a small boat. I attended a baptism dinner with a set menu . The staff was friendly and attentive. The service was fast . The mixology of cocktails is good ( gin basil and aperol spritz). The overall food experience was enjoyable and satisfactory: - sharing platters of cold and hot appetizers ( cheese , cold cuts , hummus dips , veggie rolls , beef skewers & fried shrimps ) - flavorful saint Jacques starter - cheesy melting croquettes - tender and juicy veal with roasted baby potatoes - kids meal made of french fries and steak haché - waffles in heart shape with chocolate or caramel sauce - chocolate fondue cake so moist served with a vanilla scoop.

Great place with beautiful view, our food was very tasty. The waiter was so kind. We definitely recommend it and we will go again.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique. There is nothing quite like it in Brussels and just this fact alone makes a visit worth it. Book your table online in advance if you want to eat dinner here. There were plenty of seats available during our lunch stay. The food itself is very delicious and well cooked (although it took a while to be served). The only criticism I have is that the restaurant is not vegan-friendly. You can leave out animal products from the meals but then it doesn’t justify the price. Also, the small boat ride to the restaurant costs 1€ per Person. I would recommend lifting the cost for the boat ride for visitors with a reservation. The sweet potato fries are extremely delicious!

Sunday Brunch for Mother's Day 2023 was wonderful. We arrived at 1000 and walked the park until the ferry showed up to take across. We were seated almost immediately and off to the buffet. Fantastic selection of brunch favorites -- we've already scheduled our next visit.

Chalet Robinson is the perfect place to stay for every occasione: lunch. Dinner. Brunch. It’s magic because you reach it by a little boat (1 euro) going trough the lake. Inside: country style with great staff and excellent food. Reservation is mandatory and staff will ask it to you when you want to take the boat ;-) remember …

A rustic restaurant on a tiny island inside an enormous park. That’s the selling point of this place. You can add a short boat ride to make it even more quaint. The food is quite nice, heavy on classic Belgian dishes. Don’t be put off by the large crowds, it’s worth your time and when combined with a relaxed walk in the park it’s wonderful. I ate here on a Monday evening and it was half full.

Outstanding atmosphere. Perfect location for an extra romantic valentines day. Who can say they have dined on an island within the city limits of Brussels? The only way to get there is via small ferry operated frequently and on request. Would definitely recommend!

The location was great, the food was good. However, a 2.5 hour wait for our food to come. appetizers came after the entrees and my side of French fries came after i finished my food, while a table next to us even waited 4 hours, I’ll pass next time. Never have I experienced anything as slow as this.

The food and drinks here were amazing, but the service was slow and unprofessional. We had to wait 30 minutes to get our order picked up, we waited an extra 20 to get a plateau of cheese and meat. Additionally, we were served food without cutlery, the staff wasn't actively looking after clients or was ignoring calls, so after 10 mins of waiting we went and grabbed our own cutlery from the servicing desk. It's a shame, because the location is extremely beautiful.

Le Chalet Robinson is a must see (and taste) in the green lung of Brussels. The management is charming and give great advices. It is pricey but not insane. And you'll leave with a full stomach and good memories. The boat crossing cost 1€.

Thursday lunch, 12h30 reservation, we chose a table for two on the terrace by the hedge. Lovely view. Staff attentive. Food tasty and good portions. Missed not having a paper place setting, and help-yourself to cutlery and napkins a bit odd. It's a place to escape to, and on an island you leave your worries behind. Worth the trip. €€/€.

We had brunch today. The place is very beautiful and the food was both, about quality and quantity, excellent. The staff was very effective except for our waiter... We had the most lazy waiter in the restaurant. Everybody was running except for him. We ordered a bottle of water and a coffee. We waited for at least 15'. My son was really thirsty so we made a reminder for the water. They said ok but after 10' the water still was not there. I finally had to go myself to the bar and ask for it kindly of course. The lady at the bar instead of giving me a bottle of water started to ask if I had an order and she continued not to give me a bottle of water and to say that they had many orders etc etc. I had to go mad to get a bottle of water after 30' and nobody apologized. For the price I paid I find this behavior unacceptable. I hope it was an exceptional case.

The place is very unique. I wish I could visit it during the noon. I believe it is more beautiful. I like it how the restaurant is at the middle on an island. The food Overall is ok, But maybe not too asians liking. However, the desserts, especially the cream brulee is very rich and decadent. I must say that is the best creme brulee I ever had.

Absolutely lovely place! Large enough for 20+ colleagues to celebrate a Christmas dinner together. Beautifully decorated. Extremely polite and attentive staff. Food was delicious. Can’t go wrong!

The food was great and very tasty, but the service average and even a bit slow sometimes. There was no decent wine recommendation, and the first time our steak was brought it was not well cooked. Otherwise, the place is great and very nice location. The prices are also very decent. We spent mostly on bottles of wines 😁

A fun place to meet friends for lunch. The setting is absolutely beautiful! The service was wonderful and both waiters were incredibly kind and accommodating to our larger group. Service was fast and we all really enjoyed our meal! I had some of the most amazing Vegetarian Lasagna! Highly recommended!

Went there for a marriage, very nice location. Cant say much about the food, etc since we only went for the dance part, but it's a very nice atmosphere!

Delicious food! We were all happy with what we ordered. I had the Robinson burger and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is amazing. Service is slow a bit which can be annoying.

Best aspect of the restaurant is the amazing location, in the middle of the lake. Food was ok, but they got 3 different times the order wrong, and this made the dining experience not great. No options of parking without a minimum 15 minutes walk

I liked the sea bream fish with sweet potato fries, and the croquettes. Nice ambience and good service. Would have been better if it was free to cross the lake for eating customers.

It would have been better if the restaurant when sending a mail for confirmation, clarified that we have to take a boat to reach the restaurant. Service was average since the waiter did a mistake with the doneness of the meat bringing it rare instead of well done and not correcting the mistake. The waffles were not tasty.

Food was very good and the staff was very friendly and it's a very beautiful and cozy, the view is also very good when you eat there, water and a lot water, and after eating you can go for a walk in the park in it 👌🏻

The atmosphere is chill and with nice vibes. But food is average and menu choices are limited for dinner. Service is very slow- we waited over 40 mins for our main course. We went for dinner and it was dark after we finished the meal. The route out is not well sign posted and is quite dark and quiet. You can easily gone off the wrong route if it’s your first time coming. The restaurant could help by telling guests which way to go to get the tram/bus on the website given their location.

at first, the service was terrible, we’ve ordered earl grey tea, but green tea was served. the food was served very fast and was simply amazing and delicious.

Unfortunately we couldn’t have a dinner, only drinks without an explanation. Staff was okay but a bit slow. Other then that, you should reserve your table because the exterior is amazing and beautiful!

Awful and rude service; we were asked to move tables for no reason and when they screwed up the bill, the woman was incredibly rude and aggressive towards us. We only ordered hot chocolate, which was cold and then we left asap. Never coming back.

It's an all right place, right in the hearth of Bois de la Cambre park. Since it's the only place prices are a bit high. But still it's a unique experience.

The place is very beautiful. What I fail to understand, is why there is only one outside bar, when there is 400 people?!? Moreover, the amount of bartenders ensures you will stand in a waiting line for more than 20 minutes.
