That was a wonderful coffee experience in Brussels. The hot chocolate was a pure chocolate and really tasty. The classic waffle was really good and freshly backed! The staff were super friendly as well. Reasonable prices as well. Highly recommend to try it.

Basic restaurant which serves classic Belgian food. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, but you won't find anything memorable on your plate. The waiter was friendly and efficient though. I ordered 'la salade folle', which was fine, but was lacking in presentation. The restaurant is located in a beautiful gallery, so I would recommend sitting on the terrace in the gallery so you can enjoy watching the people passing by.

In Brussels on a mission. Waiting for my contact at Mokafe. My meal is perfect, great price, and the atmosphere is natural, allowing to blend with the locals. Mokafe is a soft spoken Cafe with a good menu of choices. The service is quick and good. They do not ask too many questions when my contact arrives. It is perfect for a quick meal in a quiet place.

Had a quick break at the cafe, all good and nice, friendly staff and owner. My recommendation will be that the place could benefit from more elegant cutlery sets given it’s located in a beautiful and posh passage.

Located in the royal gallery Mokafe has a lovely ambiance. You can enjoy a cup of coffee with a nice view. They have a large menu. I tried the belgian coffee which was tasty. Service could be better.

Very professional and dependable place. When you think everything in Brussels is closed for whatever reason, they will always be open with great service and good price and quality considering the (otherwise very touristy) location. The table service is overall way better than what you usually get in the city.

Absolutely incredible waffles and cakes - we sat outside the cafe on a Sunday evening and it was lovely and peaceful. Service was great and the waffle and dark chocolate ganache were out of this world. My husband ordered a gateau and a beer, which he loved. Well worth a visit - I’d definitely return.

The menu here offers a nice variety of breakfast options (omelets, breakfast platters, waffles, etc.) and drinks. Everything we got was delicious! I was especially impressed with the waffles. They were perfectly crispy yet soft on the inside. The strawberry waffle had a very generous amount of fresh strawberries. Highly recommend visiting! Additionally, there is indoor and “outdoor” seating in the covered shopping strip.

This place has probably the best brussels waffle of the center of the city. Inside the restaurant is cozy but the seating on the outside feels just so right. Outside you see the life going on on the Gallery of the King and the busy life that tourist and locals give the city. Has a very old school establishment vibe like a place passed down generations and kept true to the original version. Not the cheapest place but not the most expensive, you get great value for your money here.

Solid breakfast with orange juice, bacon and eggs, croissant, baguette, cheese, jam and yogurt with fruits. Satisfying choice in hot drinks. Jam and butter came in small packs; could be improved. The service was quick and friendly, even though the café was packed with customers. Tea came in standard bags but the coffee was very good. Special wishes were readily fulfilled , no surcharge.

Had the omlete and crepe with amarena cherries. Both were very good but the cherries were amazing, service was quick and efficient.

We tried breakfast option A and B, they were nice however, nothing to write home about. Waffles were lovely. The service was also lovely from the nice lady that served us.

Visited for waffles and a drink. Food was excellent. Despite asking repeatedly it took an hour to be able to pay. There only seemed to be one waiter allowed to take payments.

Great place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with great food and service. Scrumptious are the waffles with bananas and warm chocolate and the waffles with strawberries and warm chocolate! Highly recommended! The pumpkin soup I had the first time I was there was also delicious.

We cane around 8am, there was a few guests at the Cafe. Service was swift, we ordered just waffles and tea/coffee and our order was delicious. Infusion teas are really nice here. I can definitely recommend coming for breakfast here.

This is the first Brussels waffle we tried & we really enjoyed it! The chocolate sauce is super rich & thick. The hot chocolate with whipped cream was delightful. Friendly, fast service in a chill, low key atmosphere. Seems like it was frequented by locals more than tourists even though it’s in a touristy area. Will definitely return.

Amazing place for breakfast. The scrambled eggs are divine. The waffles aren't bad either! You wouldn't believe somewhere so central (in the covered shopping centre, a few metres from the Grand Place) would be so good. 💫

Staffs are very kind and price is good. We ordered beer and it come with some nuts. Cordon bleu was good and the sauce was amazing. The carbonnade was ok seems it has some prune. Everything come with a bread basket. Good place to go tho.

My friend went to the bar to get a coffee he was ignored for 20 minutes while other people were being helped. He was the only black person in there and this was most likely the only reason why. It is disgusting that situations like this still occur it’s a shame AND IT MUST STOP!!

Average food with double fancy price and below average service :-( With so many great places within minutes around, I would not come back here again. Disappointed especially at the service at a upscale venue. Waffle was just average in Brussels too.

This is an all time classic in Brussels.I like to enjoy a croque madam, a coffee or a cava and watch the crowd walking by.

We visited this place twice. The first time we tried the hot chocolate which was magnifique. But the second time we had coffee at this place (cappuccino) and it was not that good. So, I strongly recommend to try either chocolate or the food. The staff is very friendly and the location inside the gallery is nice.

Super ambiance in an old tavern along the glass-enclosed arcade. You can have inside or outside seating. Plenty of food options, but we just had the traditional waffles and coffee and weren’t disappointed. Staff were friendly and multi-lingual. A nice spot to have a bite when walking about the centre.

Was our last day in Brussels, brother was looking for a Belgian waffle we originally came to this location for the Ethiopian coffee house that was next to it. Brother ordered the Banana and Chocolate Waffle and i ordered a Tomato and Cheese Omelet. The waffle was amazing, the chocolate was a semi-sweet dark chocolate just like a chocolate chip cookie. it came with sliced bananas one per square and powdered sugar. it was crispy and definitely freshly made. The tomato omelet was also good, just scrambled eggs and tomatoes folded over. It came with a side salad that was also really good, i didn't know it came with it so it was bonus. after trying both i actually am super glad it came with the salad as that turned out to be my favorite part. Would recommend this place / would go here again.

my friend walked into this cafe, he tells me the server didn't come to serve his table for 30 minutes even though the place had barely any customers. a coincidence? I don't think so. My friend is black and felt that it totally influenced how he was treated in this establishment. THIS HAVE TO STOP. there's many lovely coffee shops around that won't treat their customers like that. so think twice before visiting this place.

Real authentic café with lots of locals. Nice place to have a coffee, beer an/or simple lunch. Everything made fresh.

The location is good and food is acceptable. What I did not like was the attitude of the staff - very slow, no smile, no connection with the clients, sad faces in general. When I entered inside it was a total mess on the bar - many dirty plates, new plates, a full chaos. I hope the hygiene in the kitchen is not so bad.

This is a lovely cafe inside the beautiful Royal Gallery. I recommend to stop by and enjoy a nice coffe or tea with some Belgian waffle of course!

A bit disappointing experience. They only serve Brussels waffles and not liegi ones. The service was extremely slow even though the place was not too crowded and prices are above average.

Friendly staff and fast service. We had a beef stew and chicken in white sauce and both were excellent.Bill for food and couple of drinks came for about 40e

I don’t recommend, service is really bad. The old lady was rude, took too long for our table to be serviced and we had to go up directly to the cashier pay the bill instead of waiting for the waiter to come. We order a Petit-dejeuner B, which was good, but really nothing special. There are plenty of better options close by. Would never come back neither recommend anyone to go.

This is the place to go if you only have a few early hours in Brussels. You can get your waffles have a spiked hot chocolate and even a rare Belgian beer before 9 am. No one drinks a beer that early. Unless you only have two hours in Belgium. This place will gladly serve. Very nice setting also.

Worst experience ever! Bad service, the steak was completely raw and uneatable. We politely send the steak back for a new, and it came back black and in small pieces for “quick cooking” as the chef said. The fries was without salt. There were hair in the pasta. The service was terrible! The waiters were rude, the chef asked us to be quiet when we complained about the steak, because he tried to convince us that it was normal to cook a steak in pieces. And the toast tasted like tuna.
