The
food
is
mediocre
at
best:
bland
(as
in
lacking
perfume
and
spiciness
as
well
as
heat),
badly
cooked
(as
in
dry,
tasteless
chicken),
made
with
poor
ingredients
(as
in
rubbery
lamb).
And
it
is
extraordinarily,
horrendously
expensive:
the
total
bill
for
4,
including
1
bottle
of
cheap
wine,
was
in
excess
of
250€.
The
staff
is
thai
and
European,
which
may
explain
the
lack
of
authentic
indian
taste.
The
guests:
business
visitors
on
expense
accounts
(who,
since
they
don't
know
the
city,
can't
know
any
better),
and
couples
-
not
long-established
ones,
mind
you:
on
the
night
I
was
there,mostly
men
desperately
hoping
to
impress
new
women.
I
was
last
there
three
years
ago
and
wanted
to
see
if
anything
had
changed
for
the
better.
Sadly
not.
One
bright
note,
however:
the
staff
may
not
have
been
Indian,
but
they
are
terribly
nice
and
helpful.
So,
message
to
management:
fire
the
kitchen
but
keep
the
guest-facing
staff.
