I had a fantastic stay at the Ibis Hotel in Brussels city centre, and I want to express my gratitude to Fatima for making our experience extra special. It was a surprise birthday trip for my cousin, and Fatima went above and beyond to ensure the birthday girl was surprised and was happy throughout our stay. Her exceptional service continued when we checked out, and the entire staff was remarkably polite. Thank you, Fatima, and the team, for creating wonderful memories!

Super small rooms with just a few too many quirks to be positive about them. Basics are well done (it's clean and facilities are ok), but too warm rooms and noisy aircos will keep you awake. You can only sit on the toilet in 90 degrees. Not recommended.

We stayed for only two nights, so it was managable, but any longer than that, you should book another hotel. There was no wardrobe in the room!! Only a small space behind the TV with 2 (yes, only two) hangers, so if you have luggage, this place is a no-go. There's no mini fridge, so we bought sandwiches for the morning but had to keep them room temp.. i've never seen a hotel room with no fridge, no wardrobe. The room was VERY small. It's i think around 10m2 for a double bedroom, including the bathroom, which is SO narrow and small you can't even pee in peace. I'm speechless. The check-in and out were smooth. There's no vending machine in the lobby, which is also a bummer. Also there's no safe in the room. I think there must be one. The location is great but Brussels is already very small so any other hotel would have been just as good location-wise. Avoid at all costs

I like the decor of the SweetRoom compared to the look of the standard rooms. As the other reviews say it's a little small especially in the bathroom though it wasn't a big problem for us. All very clean. The electric shaver socket wasn't working unfortunately. Check in was easy and pleasant thanks to the friendly staff member, the others we encountered were also nice including a housekeeper and breakfast staff. The breakfast is good and like other ibis hotels I have visited. Check out is also easy as you can just drop the key cards into a box and get going. Amazing location, only a short walk to Grand-Place and metro stations.

The location of this hotel is ideal, easily walkable to the grand place, restaurants, shops, and transport. The hotel room we had was small but it served its purpose, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom also small but not really an issue given we were in Brussels to visit the city so we didn’t spend long in the room. The only con we experienced was with the shower set up, basically the shower would soak the bathroom because of two things 1) the gap between the shower door and the glass pane is too wide and the shower head points directly at it when on so water literally pours out and 2) there are no handles on the shower door, just holes so again, the water tends to spray out of these onto the floor. The power of the water is too much for the shower head holder so you can’t really move the shower head in the direction you want without it basically moving back. Other than the issue with the shower, we very much enjoyed our stay with the Ibis City Centre and would recommend to others who are looking for a convenient location.

We booked this hotel for a weekend in Brussels, the hotel is adequate but nothing more than that. The location of the hotel is great, being in the center of the city. The room was clean, the hallways are quiet. You can easily get in and out of the hotel during the middle of the night. However, the price of the hotel is too high for the quality it delivers, the breakfast is in my opinion much too expensive. That's why we didn't choose it. However, our air conditioning was noisy and barely worked in the room. The shower did not maintain a fixed temperature, and you could not sit straight on the toilet. The quality control of the room should be way higher. Taking all this into consideration I give a 3 star for this hotel.

September 2022 5* Stay at ibis hotel at this location many times now in past so it is time to share experience. Location: The property is located at excellent location and is very close to grand place. Also shopping place and food restaurants are at the walking distance. Rooms: Room are little small as they try to use the space optimally. Mostly rooms are with side desk. Closest is small. Washroom are nice and clean but little tight for big bodied people. It is ideal for 2 people or can fit in two people. Breakfast: You can enjoy the breakfast as there are multiple option. However, if you are vegetarian than options are limited and need to survive on bread. Public Transport: Hotel is located at near proximity of two metro stations so you can cover whole city. Popular bus route (n 71) is at walking distance. Shopping: if you are shopping freak than it is nice hotel as can visit shopping areas close by including shopping street. Hotel is fully accessible but it will be difficult to move inside the room and washroom.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The second night there was a party. We called at 2:30 AM to the reception. Nothing changed. 3 AM we called again. He said he was sure it came from outside, whilst it came from the ventilation system. Finally he came to our room to have a look and agreed that it was inside the hotel. He said ' I checked the corridors and don't know where it comes from. So I can't do anything. Feel free to investigate by yourself. Good night". Great Accor service, ruined night 👌. In the morning there was no room for an apology. I'm accor Platinum member and will avoid this hotel in the future. I advice you to do the same.

I was very satisfied with the hotel. All members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was ideal for a two-night stay. The breakfast was tasty with lots of options available. The location was ideal for anyone wanting to visit the city. For the price I paid, it was perfect.

Fantastic hotel with well-designed rooms with a bench, desk and chair, an inviting lobby, internet desk, work area and bar. Also a mini-convenience store for snack food. The rooms don’t have a fridge, the reception has one and can store your food if you’d like. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy to get to by metro and perfect for a weekend stay.

Great hotel at a great price. We stayed for one night and it cost about €85. The staff are so friendly and speak English. Close to the city center, clean and quiet. We payed for breakfast the next morning which was delicious and well worth the money with lots of options.

Good points The hotel location is great. The room is small but comfortable. The hotel amenities are ok. Improvements: The breakfast could have been better. Timing: Considering it was New Year, the hotel could have flexed the timing until 11 AM. Product: (ham, pancakes could have been better) the taste was not so good. Service: Eggs & beans were constantly running out and waiting lines were too long. There was only one person controlling and assisting guests during breakfast time. From my opinion, the restaurant was understaff. Cleanliness: The carpet in the alleys needs deep cleaning.

Very normal hotel, nothing special, with very small rooms. Expect to only sleep in this place, without passing time for anything else.

Front of house staff were rude and obnoxious. Was given no help by them. The room was so tiny, as was the bathroom. Had to sit on the toilet sideways to pee as there was no room with the walls and sink! Breakfast was ok, coffee/tea not available other then at breakfast so I don't know why it says its available through the day. I've stayed in many Ibis hotels and its a brand of hotel I like. But this was a horrible stay!!!

Front desk staff were too friendly with me and my friend, the room was great and its really close to the center of the city.. I really liked it

Rooms are tiny and oddly decorated. But it's clean and the staff is friendly. And it's a 10 minute walk to the Grande Place and the Central train station. If you're looking for a hotel to luxuriate in this is not it. If you want a place to drop your stuff while exploring Brussels it's great.

Super Lage. Leider war das sehr kleine Zimmer mit Minibad bei Ankunft nicht sauber. Spuren der Vorgänger waren im Zimmer zu finden, der Boden war nicht gesaugt. Extrem hellhörige Zimmer!!!

Very expensive at 150euros a night. Room is very small. Toilet is even smaller. No kettle in the room and no free drinking water downstairs. Located within walking distance to sights but surrounded by construction

A bit outdated and an extremely pricey breakfast. It was construction when we went so although location is great was very dusty outside the hotel. Overall good, usual Ibis, small rooms with no extras to sleep. The view from the window was to the Cathedral and was amazing

Overall, the stay has been good, always within what is contracted. Ibis hotels are simple hotels, without luxuries. On this occasion the hotel was very centrally located and the room was clean enough although it is true that the bathrooms are very small, at least they are sufficient. They have an umbrella rental service for 2€ for 48 hours. I rented one of these umbrellas on Saturday morning and the following Monday, first thing in the morning, I had already been charged a fee of €18. I returned it that same Monday morning but despite having claimed this amount even via email, the hotel does not respond and it seems that they do not want to refund the money. I hope they can take this comment into account and return the amount charged unduly because, otherwise, I will not book again in any other hotel of this brand.

One of the better serviced Ibis I have been at lately. Service was very good and friendly. Room ok and breakfast quite good. The hotel is centrally located.

A budget hotel but not budget hotel prices. Clean and adequate but very small room basic facilities and tiny bathroom. Extremely warm room with significant noise issues when window opened. Don’t expect a restful night. Well located close to centre. Good but chaotic breakfast.

The hotel is located in a very convenient place. There are so many different restaurants and tourist attractions within the walking distance. There are trains as well. The room was quite spacious. The staff was also friendly. Only negative comment is that there are several construction sites around which makes walking bit inconvenient. Overall a good place!

very friendly staff and a small but functional room! stayed 2 nights recently and we had no issues! the rooms are not very soundproof (which isn’t uncommon for hotels) but the location is nice and safe and I would recommend!

Excellent location, close to grand place. Our room was not ready during check in time and when we asked to store our bags, we were offered lockers to store them in which we were asked to pay for. Doesnt make sense since its the hotels fault that our room wasnt ready. We also asked for air conditioning to be turned on in our room, but instead, heating was turned on. Shower gel dispenser was also broken.

Stayed here on a recent short trip to Brussels and wasn't disappointed. The room was lovely and cosy, plenty of light and the bed was incredibly comfortable. It had free body wash in the shower but I always take my own so didn't try theirs. The hand wash by the sink smelt lovely though. The bar was lovely and relaxing and the man that served us was very polite, nothing was too much for him. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would stay here again.

  • 3/5 Darius B. 2 years ago on Google
Location was excellent - some of the staff were really helpful but others not so much. Room sizes are quite small for the price. Air conditioning didn't work in our room and it was very loud with the window open. the shower was very good and the room itself was very clean. No storage space to put clothes away. Very good location in relation to the centre

  • 2/5 Pratik D. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are pretty small with the bathroom being even smaller. For the price the guests are paying, it is not worth it. Barely any space in the room to walk. The toilet was literally against the wall and one had to sit slightly sideways. I would highly recommend other hotels instead of this one at least until the price does not match the (lack of) quality of the rooms.

Stayed in Ibis Hotel for 3 nights in a twin bedroom. Definitely advise for tourists who are not wishing to pay lots of money but stay in a decent place. Rooms a small but just enough. Towels, hairdryer, shampoo and soap available. The locations is very good, not a crowded place and very close to the touristic attractions. The hotel has lockers to leave the bags after the check out (helpful if your flight is late afternoon or night). It also has a nespresso machine where you can get a coffee for 2€, a and vending machine. The breakfast I found expensive-15€ per day.

  • 5/5 Sneha R. 1 year ago on Google
Location is great! Rooms are quite small but we were there for one day so it was okay for us. Breakfast is decent too. Overall the stay was nice and comfortable. It's in city center which helped us to visit places by walking.

Super small toilet, nearly impossible to seat if you are tall. I had a terrible experience after visiting, the bad and pillows was infested with bad bug, it costed me GP and some medication after the visit. Really disappointing with the hygienic and cleaning of this hotel.

  • 5/5 Anna G. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are quete small. BUT. The breakfast is very nice and the barman is so cool. The location is perfect, close to everything you need :)

Disappointing for Ibis/Mercure group. The room was tiny and the bathroom barely useable. Didn't notice until I was preparing to leave, but the room wasn't exactly clean either

  • 4/5 James W. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent location, decent enough price for a city centre hotel too. Was slightly surprised at the smaller room size compared to the other hotel we stayed in at a later date in a similar location for a similar price, but overall I can't complain. You generally get the basic comfort that you expect from an ibis.

Great location and hotel. The room we had was a bit small but very comfortable and clean.

  • 1/5 Little King B. 1 year ago on Google
So many things wrong with this place, I'd avoid if possible. It's far from central if you have luggage to transport and don't want to pay 16EUR to get an uber. The rooms are old and so small a double bed barely fits. Our room was up a flight of stairs despite being gold Accor. Despite having signs all over the place touting 24/7 bar and room service, the bar closed at 11PM and there was no food available. There wasn't even proper body wash, shampoo, or conditioner in the cramped bathroom- just the old 2 in 1, my grandpa uses, in a yellowed dispenser glued to the wall. Would avoid at all costs.

  • 2/5 Jan C. 1 year ago on Google
Pluses: Room was clean. Location was good. Minuses: Everything else. Room was so small that we had to walk all the way into the room before we could close the door. Towels were cheap, thin, and stiff. Shower was so small and awkward that water got all over the floor. Toilet was positioned tight against the wall, requiring user to angle legs to sit. Toilet paper was thin and stiff. If you’re desperate, you can make this hotel work, but I would never stay there again.

  • 4/5 Liza C. 1 year ago on Google
We stayed there for tow days, and he reception people are so kind, they offered us free drinks also. The hotel is situated near to Grand Palace which is just 4 mins walking distance, even the top notch restaurants are also near by. Enjoyed the stay.

One of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at in my life. Not like shown in the pictures. - Tiny rooms - horrible and tiny bathroom, I could barely fit in the shower - AC doesn’t work, they offered me a fan 🤦‍♂️ - carpet is extremely dirty - light went off and they had to reset the breakers because we plugged in a hairdryer

  • 5/5 Ben G. 1 year ago on Google
It's an Ibis and delivers as promised. Well located, close to most of the locations we wanted to see at Christmas markets season. Comfortable clean rooms and an excellent breakfast. The only inconvenient was that I left as required a deposit in my room account, to be able to charge extras. When at the bar, we couldn't do it. The barman had to go to the reception to settle the charge

DO NOT STAY HERE. it was like a low class dormitory.. photos are deceiving. Window opens out to a bright orange well. WiFi was down for 2 whole days. Room and shower area is extremely tiny (I'm 162cm and can't even shower freely). Bathroom finishing was moudly and rusty. While location is good and staff are generally friendly, this room cheapens the entire experience in Brussels... do yourself a favour and don't stay here.

  • 2/5 Nezif T. 1 year ago on Google
You can find better otels with the same budget. Very small room , you can hear all the water sounds of other rooms toilets, no slipper on the room , no minibar and goes like that. 2 star for the location. It is near the shopping streets.

  • 2/5 Dave O. 2 years ago on Google
Tired small room with absolutely tiny bathroom. Worst buffer breakfast I’ve ever had, in an average location. There are much better hotels - including the ibis off the grand place. Disappointed from start to end of our 3 night stay.

  • 2/5 Franchi 1 year ago on Google
Today I left Ibis hotel and to be honest I am dissapointed for different reasons. 1. The price we pay doesn’t justify at all the service.( I will specify below) 2. The room was so tighty and the bathroom tightier. Imagine being a big person in size, you really can’t. There is no bathroom brush in it. 3. At least a small refrigerator in the room, but no. 4. Badly used space, of course it’s a business. 5. There were 2 elevators, which one didn’t work. So it was taking me 10 mins to go down from the fifth floor. The one was working was really scary and badly maintained. For the same price you find better in Brussels.

  • 2/5 Peter D. 1 year ago on Google
Very small room, cramped bathroom (couldn't sit properly on the toilet, even), and most of all: very noisy - The window hardly filters outside noise. That meant it didn't make much difference to open the window, so I could get some fresh air because I felt like suffocating. 2 stars because you book a room to get some sleep, and I did not sleep well at all.

  • 4/5 Sebastian D. 10 months ago on Google
Well located. Just ibis standard. Bathroom was too small but I didn't care for just one night stay.

  • 4/5 Andy B. 5 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
Hotel is well located, rooms are fairly typical IBIS style and two lifts means they are pretty well accessible. Welcome to the hotel was warm and friendly. The only issue we had was that despite trying six times there was never anyone at the bar, at one point a staff member walked past and told us 'she'll be there in a minute' - 10 minutes later she still wasn't there so we gave up.

I had a fantastic stay at Ibis Brussels City Centre! The location couldn't be better, with easy access to major attractions and public transportation. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, I highly recommend Ibis Brussels City Centre for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in the heart of Brussels.
